The best tire place hands down, I am getting my tire for my car right now as I am writing this review, plus I am also a regular customer at Mavis Discount Tire, I buy all my tires from them as well as all the services related. The prices are very affordable, with a variety of choices and with the help of Chris, Evans and Luis, 3 professionals that would go far and beyond to make sure you re taken care of, everything was as smooth as always. I will definitely recommend Mavis Discount Tire to everyone who s in need for a tire service.

My brake lights went out today on my car and I called Mavis. Jake told me to bring my car in and he would fit me in. I left the car and he called me when it was ready. When I went to pick it up they had replaced the bulbs and did not charge me for labor. Jake and the entire staff were very nice and accommodating. I will definitely be bringing my car back for any future repairs!

Showed up at 4pm after noticing that my steering felt weird in my car. They almost immediately began working on my car to see what was going on with my car. They quickly diagnosed and showed me that I needed new tires and a wheel alignment, which was evident when they lifted my car up. Patrick was able to work with me to find the best tires in my budget and then the team started the replacement work immediately. Everything was done in about an hour.I am very happy to have found a quick, trustworthy, and reasonable tire place so close to home. Thank you Patrick and the Mavis team!

This morning the flat tire sign appeared on my car screen. It look like the 4 tires where getting flat. I went to Mavis and Evans came out like an angel, he was super kind and helpful, he explained me what could happened with my flat tires sign. He also took some of his time to put more air just in case. Thank you very much!

Had an appointment to have 4 new tires installed. Waited over an hour and a half before they even touched the car although I had an appointment. As soon as I left I knew something was very wrong. The ride was so bumpy even at low speeds and horrible at 50+.Having it fixed somewhere else today since I know they don t respect appointment times and I have no faith that it would be done correctly. The guy fixing my tires showed me that they didn t balance the tires as all. Completely uneven and not a single weight installed. How can they not know how to install tires when that s all they do?

Stopped in at the end of the day not thinking that they would even help me but they were kind enough to check out my tire which I noticed had a nail in it . Not only did they evaluate the tire but they quickly took care of it since it only needed to be plugged. The staff was friendly and very efficient. I would highly recommend this center for all and any of your tire needs. Thank you , Evans for taking the time and care !!!

Brought my car here because I thought I had a slow leak in my tire. They told me there was no slow leak and no charge. Its rare to find honest auto mechanics that don t take advantage. I am so thankful for this business and their kindness! I will continue only coming here and always recommending this place!

Recently got 4 tires replaced. The entire replacement took 1 1/2 hours to complete. They seem a little disorganized and under staffed. Not an ideal place if you plan to wait there is no where close to go. I had an excellent experience at the Mavis in Oakland and overall the pricing is good, just not a fan of the Wayne location

I recognized slow leak in my tire and brought my car to Mavis Discount tire on Hamburg Trpk in Wayne NJ. It was big surprise for me that my car was pick up right away. After several minutes Nicolas who who worked with my car came to waiting area and explained that they found small screw in my tire, showed picture of my tire with screw and promised that it will be fixed in 5 minutes. Exactly after several minutes my car was in front of shop with fixed tire. I was surprised with honest, friendly and great service in short of time. Thank you very much Nicolas and others technicians who worked with my issue. Unfortunately that I Cannot give them 10 stars but only 5 stars.

I had an excellent experience with this location of Mavis. They were punctual, returning my car as promised. The pricing was reasonable, and their service proved to be reliable. Overall, a five-star service that I would recommend.

First time ever getting my own tire repair and Mavis made it easy. I made an appointment online which was nice and convenient. My car service was quick, took maybe 20-25 mins. Definitely going again.

Stopped here while out running errands because my tire pressure light was on due to the change in temperature. They checked and filled all four tires and I was done and out within 10 minutes at no charge. They were so helpful and courteous.

Went in with a flat tire. Jake was super kind and his staff were considerate and professional I highly recommend calling them for any tire needs and mechanic needs. Honest professional and respectful of your time.

Appointment was 11am-12noon. Was told 1 guy is out. It took around 2.5 hours for them to replace 2 tires. Good thing I didn't need 4 tires. That would probably take half a day to finish!!! Not going back there again.

Dropped off my car at 8:45AM for a tire rotation and tire repair appointment at 9AM. Left the car and came back at 11:30AM, my car was not touched. And the explanation was there s cars ahead of me, but I have an appointment at 9AM and came back almost 3 HOURS after. No sense of RESPONSIBILITY. I wouldn t rely on this branch to take care of my safety.

If you're looking for prompt service, this place falls short. I recently experienced significant delays; a simple tire change took hours. (even though their initial estimate was within an hour ) Consider exploring alternative options for more efficient assistance.

My Dad William Cash had an awesome experience then other night at Mavis Discount in the Wayne,NJ my Dad s 2001Dodge Ram had a flat front tire and Chris was Phenomenal.From the time the tow truck dropped my Dad s Pick up off he was treated like royalty.My Dad said make sure you give them a 5 Star Review. They fixed the tire and we were on our way.

I called to inquire about replacing 3 tires because I recently had one replaced and did not need 4. I was quoted around $1300 all in (by what sounded like an older man with a shaky voice), so I agreed to come in next morning to have them changed. They ended up changing all 4 tires and charged me $2000 I did not have for it even though they said they ended up giving me the 4th tire free. They of course have all these extra fees they do not disclose and my receipt did not make sense either as some of if wasn't broken down so it was difficult to understand how it all added up. They told me the older man whom I spoke to the day before doesn't work there and they don't know who I spoke to. They charged me $169 for a wheel alignment I did not ask for (and I even specifically said I did not want one because I had one recently) that I was also quoted only $100 for by another local vendor, and I'm sure there was a coupon available for it too. They never refunded me for this. This huge difference in cost really set me back, I felt taken, and when I called to complain to the manager, no one was there. I am still really mad about this and decided to write a review. That was a lot of money I was not prepared to spend nor informed about it in advance. I have other more important things I need that money for in these very inflated times. I'm still very angry about the whole transaction and my anger grows with all of the things that pop up I need to take care of that I would otherwise have had the money to pay for if this never happened. Be careful if you go here to make sure they provide a written pre-quote with all items broken down and all associated costs disclosed, and that they stick to the agreement 100%!

Transparent, up front about cost and ETA for work. Cars make your wallet hurt, but at least they help avoid sticker shock at the end of the work. Gives you time to go through all the stages of grief and makes coping with the cost hurt ever so slightly less.

I had a 9:00 appointment on a Sunday morning.they are supposed to open at 9.one manager showed up on time.another manager came at about 9:15 along with a mechanic.another mechanic strolled in at 9:20.at 10:15 they still hadn't gotten to my van.they kept taking walk-ins first and a 10:00 appointment before me.when I went to the counter to inquire about what was going on,they told me that appointments don't mean anything and if I didn't like it to take it up with Mavis.the one manager needs to work on his people skills.i have been there multiple times for warranty work on my brakes and they still can't figure out what is wrong.

This team is A+. Always willing to help out. My lawn mower tractor tire deflated and came off the rim bead. I attempted to get the tire sealed and filled and failed. Went to these guys and the helped with no questions. Even when I offered tip to buy them lunch they declined. I ll always go to them for tires!

Louis and Evans were both extremely professional and helpful. They helped me get a tire patched up on a rental car same day, all within about an hour. Overall, fast service, and great staff, would definitely recommend.
