Mavis in Washington has gained a new loyal customer today! Amazing customer service experience. Mike and Judy in customer service helped me beyond what words can describe, and saved me from a potential disaster caused by another mechanic in town. Not only did a different mechanic mess my car up they denied it and told me they didn t have time to fix my car until this weekend. This didn t work for me since I commute to work I drove straight to Mavis and that s where I met Mike and Judy and they got my car in right away even though there was only one mechanic on staff with multiple other customers needing assistance. I couldn t believe how fast and efficiently the mechanic was able to complete everything and how smoothly the entire operation was running. It s so nice to see this type of customer service these days as it is practically nonexistent anymore. I also received confirmation that the error caused by the other mechanic shop was not coincidental . This being said if I had risked driving my car until the weekend it might not have been okay after all. I was happy that pricing was very transparent at Mavis and I paid exactly what they quoted in the beginning. If you are looking for a trustworthy and transparent mechanic shop I strongly recommend Mavis! Thanks again for a great experience.

Hands down one of the most helpful auto shops. I have had some specific needs and have been accommodated even 10 mins before closing on a Sunday. Honest work and same day service. Have saved me more than once with trailer tires late on a Saturday afternoon for a Sunday event. Shop manager is well versed and knowledgeable. Front desk staff is always pleasant and helpful. My go to place for tires!

I stopped in at Mavis Discount Tire without an appointment when I discovered a large lag screw in my tire while driving through Washington NJ. While onsite, I also mentioned that I had been observing a slow leak in another tire. Mavis Discount Tire worked me in to their already very busy schedule and repaired both tires. The service was quite professional and friendly and they took care of my tires and had me back on the road safely and quickly. Much appreciated!

Today I had an unexpected and extraordinary experience at Washington Mavis! From first being greeted with a smile by Kyle and then manager Judy! They located parts quickly and had technician Mike service my car. Mike went the extra mile, he found and brought another issue to my attention! Outstanding customer service at Mavis that is not only professional, friendly and kind is generally found at Mom and Pop businesses! Forever a Mavis Customer thank you and God Bless!

I had a fantastic experience at Mavis Tire Shop in Washington NJ! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly, and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout. They listened attentively to my concerns about my car and were able to address them efficiently. The service was top-notch, and I left feeling confident in their work. I just visited the Mavis in Washington, NJ. I booked my appointment online and received a confirmation phone call very shortly after. I was offered an earlier appointment which I was unable to take, but I appreciated the offer nonetheless. I showed up to my appointment time 20 minutes early and was greeted right away. My vehicle was brought in immediately and my oil change was completed quickly. I was even given a discount on my service without any coupon or promotion! My system was reset which I always appreciate since it saves me the trouble of having to remember how to do it. Everyone was super friendly and courteous. I will definitely be returning for future services on my vehicle!

Mavis may, or may not be the least expensive business to have your vehicle serviced or for new tires. What I will say is that the service has always been excellent, they ve gone out of their way to accommodate last minute needs for tires or service, regardless of location, their recommendations for needed service has been accurate - my car now has over 320K miles on her, their facilities are open on Sunday s which just so happens to be the day I have tended to discover I had a flat tire. Lastly, Judy, the new service mgr at the Washington, NJ location on Rt. 31, did a great job accommodating a last minute need for a new battery. Overall I recommend Mavis.

Judy at Mavis has always been very helpful with my vehicle repairs. When I need a ride home she takes me with no questions asked. They always get the work done in a timely manner and I am happy with the work they have done on my truck. If there is every anything extra that needs fixing she always gets my approval first. Great place and great people.

Kyle went above and beyond for me when I was coordinating work on my car with other shops around town. I needed high quality tires and I was able to get the michelin defender tires for my Toyota corolla.I was even able to reschedule my tire appointment at Mavis Discount Tire when I was told a part needed to be ordered for my vehicle. The friendly and open communication I had with Kyle, and the flexibility for scheduling my car was greatly appreciated. To have such an honest and hard working employee help me take care of one of the most important aspects to a car 10/10 !When the time comes for getting my next set of tires, I most certainly will return to Mavis Discount Tire in Asbury.

I had 3 engine mounts replaced by their service team (invoice #00262797) in May 2023. They did a terrible job.To make a long story short, I had to bring the car back twice after the initial service because the first time the bolt broke and the second time I think they put the wrong kind of mount. In both situations it left my car trembling terribly, worse than before I brought it to them. The second time it left me stranded about 50 miles away from their shop, so I had to pay to tow it to their store.I wouldn t have even left a review granted it was almost a year ago now and I never do this. But today I brought it to another shop and they commented on how bad the job was. My car was still shaking a bit due to the bolt they used being too short, so it didn t fully secure the engine. And they Frankensteined all the parts as they were all not meant for my vehicle type.I really don t know how they have over 4.0 stars, because my experience was the complete opposite. Stay away is my best advice here.

The employees were accommodating and worked really fast. The receptionist Judy was especially great. I recently moved here and we had a great conversation about the area as I waited for a plug in my tire. Everything was great overall and I highly recommend after just one experience!

I have used this location 2 times now and both visits were efficient, pleasant and timely! When I called for a repair appointment, not only did they fit me in right away, they were very welcoming and eager to assist me. I would like to mention the serviceman who fixed my tire. Johnathan was super pleasant!The manager (I didn t get her name, ) is obviously passionate about the customers experience -it s refreshing to see that! Thank you!I highly recommend this particular Mavis location!

I was a walk in customer today with an issue with a tire.I had a nail! Happy manic Monday lol!!!!Judy took the tire back to Sean and immediately began to remove the tire from the rim and instead of plugging it they sealed it with a patch and replaced the valve stem.While waiting Mike and John where handling other walk ins and calling customers to give updates on their vehicles.It was a true team effort and so pleasant to see this!!!!!!

The guys at Mavis were really wonderful helping me with a flat tire from a nail! I was over an hour from home & they were close by. When I called for assistance, Nick was very nice & helpful on the phone. Highly recommend! Welcoming & speedy service !

Judy who works behind the desk is amazing. I am not sure about any bad comments but they helped me out. I am a homeless veteran and they straightened my rim and gave me an oil change! Take your car here!!

Outstanding service. Ordered my tire in advance knowing I had a screw in an unrepairable location. I showed up on a busy Saturday morning and the service advisors as well as the service techs had it mounted, balanced, and checked the other 3. Within an hour my jeep grand cherokee was back on the ground and parked out front waiting for me.

went to Mavis today and Mike and his team were super helpful with explaining all the problems with my car and the repairs that were needed. this is one of the best Mavis tire discounts in the area! i would definitely recommend coming here if you have problems with your car!

Got the tire warranty when I bought my tires here and happily it has paid for itself several times over, between the free tire rotations and free tire repair. I appreciate the level of service and efficiency at the Washington NJ location. Always polite, straightforward explanations and accommodating to any special instructions. Great bunch of folks!

JUDY is a pleasure to work with as always! This time came in for a tire that wasn't holding air, the tech, can't remember his name (my bad) was able to diagnose the problem...cracked rim. But it wasn't a problem, JUDY knows a guy and got me set up. Rim was fixed, balanced and remounted the next day. Special shout out to ED for replacing my driver front wheel lug in what i thought was record speed, felt like he took my keys and only 20 minutes past before he handed them back to get me on the road again! Even told me he had to order the part to fix it! The whole crew here at this location knows what they're doing, they take care of me and i do my best to pay it forward back to them as well. I only come here for my auto needs, I trust them 100%!

Judy at Mavis in Washington, NJ is awesome. She took me right in knowing it was my birthday and on my way to Philly for a basketball game. As I was heading from home I had a slow leak and stopped in to get my tire looked at. Because of her I am now able to make to Philly safe and be able to see the game. Thank you Judy and Sean for helping me today.

Had a great experience here recently. Brought a flat tire in and they patched it up quick for me. They put the spare tire back in the car and cleaned everything up perfectly. Vicky at the counter was super nice.
