Every stupid question I had was answered.Extremely professional, knowledgeable group of people.I wouldn't waste any time looking further than these guys if you're trying to build your subaru whether that be your daily or a track car; they're very versatile in their abilities.Very very reasonable pricing for what you're getting out of them.Very responsive and will shoot ideas back and forth with you if you have a specific goal in mind.I'm sure I've emailed them a little TOO much at times but no matter how big or small of an issue something might be they'll try their best to help you figure it out, in terms of your car of course.

My 05 WRX was running horribly and needed to be retuned. After a little research I found prime motoring. They were super helpful and helped me set up an appointment over email. At my appointment they did a pre dyno inspection and ordered parts for my car that helped bring it up to par to be tuned. My car feels like a totally different car after being tuned by these people. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a Subaru that they want tuned. I fully plan on going back again when I can do a full engine rebuild with a built block.

Been coming here since lightly modifying all the way to an engine swap over the course of a few years. Amazing service and results. Wouldn't trust my car especially a Subaru for that matter anywhere else. Courteous and professional guys that are willing to help and answer any questions no matter how silly.

Awesome service from start to finish. Dealt with Nav mostly the whole time and just killed it with the service and teaching me some things about the build. Genuinely an awesome performance shop.Brought my car in for a tune and misfire issue. They called me next day with a solution and worked with my schedule. Car was fixed and drives awesome.Definitely worth my 2 hour drive and would recommend for anyone wanting to get their Subaru worked on and tuned. Best shop experience this side of the Mississippi! Demetri and his crew took such great care of my car. HUGE thank you to Nav for being so helpful with all of my questions. Never taking my cars anywhere else. They even washed my car for me before I picked it up!

I have a 2018 base WRX that I swapped a brand new engine into - got everything connected put the engine back in the car, car wouldn t fire. I changed the high pressure fuel pump, changed the injectors and the relays still wasn t getting anywhere. It had spark, it had crank, but no combustion and I was left scratching my head trying to figure out what the hell my next move was. To keep a long story short, it took all but a two minute phone call with the guys from Prime Motoring to tell me to check one thing. instead of telling me no, and to bring the car in and run a bunch of tests to run up a bill, they went ahead and gave me some advice right over the phone and sure enough the one thing that they told me the check was the problem. I had my knock sensor and my coolant temperature sensor swapped. I took the manifold off, put them back in there correct positions, and the car fired up. I was beyond grateful for him to give me some advice over the phone without pushing for me to spend more money, having my car towed in and having a bunch of tests run. Thank you guys, for real - awesome service

I've been using this shop for a few years now and I've never had a issue or a negative thing to say. I have had all my personal vehicles serviced and all my Subaru built and dyno tuned here as well. The staff (Nav and Phil) have been always responsive and helpful with all questions and concerns I've had. Meanwhile the techs performed fantastic work on my cars and pointed out any issues I had or would have if certain items weren't replaced or fixed. I was even able to come in on a Saturday when my radiator started leaking and the car was being sold that day. I had the buyer come with me to Prime Motoring and they were able to not only source the radiator but also have it installed same day !!! Buyer was SUPER happy and so was I that the sale went through. And to top it off pricing here is better than other shops around and you know for a fact that the work will be performed as it should. I even had a lot of my friends switch shops because of how well the work is done here. If you are looking for a GREAT shop to bring your car in I wouldn't hesitate. I have learned A LOT from this place and all of my cars are in top notch condition thanks to their help!

If you're looking to get your Subaru working in tip top shape, you found the place.I brought them my built 2015 STI (rotated turbo etc) for a stalling at idle issue after being warmed up.I had my vehicle at a prior shop and after 4 months of having my vehicle and troubleshooting issues they couldn't resolve it. They had no new ideas and no sense of urgency to fix my issue.Prime had my vehicle for about 3 weeks and found that I had flattened a lobe on my GSC stage 2 cams which caused the idling issues. They were meticulous, organized, and communicative during the entire process. They priced the job fair and the work done was great. Phil and Nav were on point about keeping me informed during the whole process.I will most certainly drive past my local shops and take the over 2 hour drive to have these guys continue to work on my vehicles.Thanks guys for all the hard work. I'll see you all around December time ^_^

I heard great things about this place, and I gotta say that they certainly didn't disappoint. I prepared for a stage 2 tune for over 2 years, I bought and installed the parts over this period. After all my personal work with my car was done, I emailed and scheduled a tune with JR. Due to Covid-19 regulations scheduling is tight and the wait time for me was approximately 2 weeks. Though the wait was worth it and my Legacy GT feels peppy and responsive. I'm very impressed with JR's custom tune my power band feels great. I was also surprised when I got mustang dyno results and my car made more power than I anticipated. They also answer my questions after the tune in great detail, and I most certainly learned a lot from the information they given me. Overall, I highly recommend them for your Subaru parts and tuning needs.Service: Auto engine tuning

Had an awesome experience with prime motoring. Had a prime built motor for my 06 sti which made 594 hp on e55 and 476 on 93 with a fp black turbo today which was exactly what I was hoping for. JR did an amazing job tuning. They are knowledgeable people and very professional about how they do their business. Navendra (Naven) is the man! Out of the millions of emails I ve sent him regarding my build, he answered every single one. Demetrius did a great job explaining things during the tune session. Most importantly they stand behind the work they do. I would highly recommend looking into Prime if your thinking about getting any work done to your car.

Highly recommended. These guys are pros at what they do and super fast! I came here to modify my 2019 WRX years back with a tune and they did it problem free. I actually forgot to include a few gaskets but they had some on hand and had it installed for me with no issues! Never had a problem with their pro tune either. Fast forward a few years later to last week, I needed to part out my car to sell it, but I had to do it in a hurry. These guys were willing to take me in the day after Christmas even though it was technically a holiday! I'm very grateful that they're so accommodating and would definitely go back.

I don't really write google reviews but when I do, the business has gone way over my expectations. Prime motoring is just that. I have been going to Prime ever since I bought my 2015 WRX. The car ran awesome with no hiccups. The install was done properly and the tune...well it was tuned by Junior, so that should explain it, haha.Prime does not cut corners and they are very upfront. They will tell you what you need and will never try to sell you things so they can make a quick buck. This is why I trust them.Recently I took my 2019 STI into the shop for some upgrades. And the car feels absolutely awesome. Night and day difference. Because this car is a daily driver, Junior did not put an aggressive tune on there, which is what I wanted. As much as I want the car to be nice and powerful, I also need it to be reliable and having an exceptional tuner, like Junior, makes a huge difference.In terms of customer service I was dealing with Nav and Demetri. They were exceptional and answered every annoying question I had. They were great at pointing me to the right direction as well.Also, I did not get a chance to get the name of the guy who installed the items, but he was very friendly, professional and intelligent. I appreciate his work as it took him two days to install everything, properly.Prime is not around the corner for me. It is 2 hours away. For me, it took almost half a day. I had to travel back to my house (after dropping it off) by train and bike (50 miles) and then half day going back to pick my car up. Demetri was nice enough for letting me work for few hours in the lounge. The whole traveling did utilize a lot of my time and it was quite exhausting, however, putting this extra work so my car can be in good hands is priceless.Lastly, I know there are some negative comments in here, but you should always take them with a grain of salt. People love to complain, its inevitable. There will always be rotten tomatoes. People tow their cars across states just so they have have it serviced here. Prime is the best of the best. From simple oil changes to major installs, they have always taken care of me. They are super responsive, professional, helpful, and respectful. On all occasions they have answered any question I've had - even silly ones. Prime truly does the highest level of quality work. Couldn't be happier with my build.

Took my daily 2020 STI to 350 whp with nothing but genuine honesty and no upselling. The car runs flawlessly, never had a hiccup. They answered every stupid question i had. And always do every time i call. These guys are THE BEST and incredibly friendly. I will never go anywhere else, they certainly have my undying loyalty. You will not be disappointed. BIG thank you to all the guys there, big thanks to Nav and Phil for always being patient with me.

After couple research to which auto shop should touch my 2017 WRX, Prime-Motoring was the go to shop. I'm impressed with their service they told me to come around 2:00PM which I did, and they were right on it changing my exhaust to a Cat Back Tomei Extreme TI exhaust. Good service and I will be coming back for more goodies. Thank you guys!!!

I have many online interactions with this company. They always have timely responses, provide in-depth knowledge, and great customer service. I purchased a handful of used aftermarket Subaru parts from them. When I ran into issues/complications, they were very responsive and helpful by answering my questions and walking me through correct install procedures. They even helped me out by sending me a complimentary piece that was missing from one of the parts I purchased from them. Nothing but high praises here. Will continue using them for any used parts purchases. If I lived closer, you bet I would be in their shop for installs + tuning. Thanks to everyone at PM.REVISED: again, 2 years down the road, PM continues to provide top notch customer service. They assisted me in fixing an issue that arose with another used part I purchased from them. I would leave ANOTHER 5-star review if Google would let me.

I only did my oil change there, and i saw a lot of good words being put forth for Prime Motoring on facebook as well as here. This facility is very professional and pretty much gives you every reason to not bother going to a dealership for maintenance. I know that they are brains behind everything SUBARU and build absolute monsters there, but not only i had an appointment for 2:00 PM and got there on time, and they took care of me the moment i walked in the office. The car was left outside running and ready to take off with a record time. I wish i knew a lot more about these cars (first-time owner), but it really feels like they live, breathe Subaru, and are the best place to go for anything related to these cars. It's hard not to fall in love with that place. Thank you so much Prime Motoring. I will be 100% back.Service: Oil change

I originally had this as a five-star review from when I first had the car done. I was so happy that they were able to fit me in last minute because everything was going wrong and they were very accommodating and I really appreciate it. However I was stressed out because I did need to go bring the car back twice for the same issue. The car had a terrible rev hang from the tune. On the second return they did correct the issue. I would recommend Prime, however it was inconvenient to have to return twice since Prime is not exactly close to where I live.

I love Prime Motoring!! Demetri and his entire team are amazing. They knocked out my entire build in under a month!! I shipped my car to them from Chi, IL. When my car was done I jumped on a plane to go pick my 13 STi. I hung out with the Prime team for the day and around closing time I got in car and drove it 830 miles home. I didn't consume a drop of oil on the drive home from NJ to IL and the car was flawless. Now 13k miles later at 569whp/577wtq the car is still amazing. I beat on it daily and the it never misses a beat. I drive it 260 miles a week just for work. If I am willing travel 800 plus miles for them to do my build/tune I think that speaks volumes about Demetri, Jr and the entire Prime team.I plan on going back to Prime in a few years when my cars paid off for rotated setup and to make over 700whp.

Subaru dealer refused to work on my 2016 Forester and said the Valve body had to be changed however they were not going to do the job because there were no guarantees that it would work. Searched social media and asked for recommendations on NextDoor App found Prime motoring as one of the referrals. Decided to go with them and could not be more satisfied with thw work. They fixed my problem and my Forester is working great. I thought my car was done. Thankfully these guys saved us. No complaints whatsoever.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Easily the best shop I ve ever been too. I had NAV the guy I dealt with through my build. His knowledge and support is one of a kind and his customer service can t be beat They built my car from top to bottom. Car came out amazing. Also the mechanics and the staff there are outstanding. They can answer any question you have. The tuner JR is awesome. Gave my car awesome power and I wouldn t send anyone anywhere else other then to these guys. Will definitely be going back again for more upgrades
