Broke down and had to have transmission lines replaced due to the lines rusted out. Mike did a fantastic job on replacing the lines along with changing the transmission filter and oil. Mikes expertise and positive attitude made my trip to New Jersey a positive one. His price was very reasonable. I highly recommend his business.

My son s 2015 GMC Yukon transmission went bad and Mike was recommended to me for the job. I was on the fence on whether to repair it. Mike's counsel was valuable and he was very transparent and honest. He s very reliable and I knew I was in good hands. He s a super nice guy and got our Yukon running like new again. GREAT experience. I wasn't sure where to take my car when my transmission started going, but my boss (who's local to the area) told me Mike had been around a long time and had a solid reputation in the community. I'm glad I did, because I couldn't be happier. The work was done quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. My car feels like it's brand new!

This review is long overdue! I panicked on my drive into work when nearly every light on my dashboard was flashing on Route 3 (my 2010 Subaru Impreza has seen better days!!). After being declined service at a different shop, they (thankfully!) referred me to Mike. Without an appointment, he took my car in ASAP and offered to scan my car for the various error codes. The other mechanic working took her for a test drive and cleared the codes for me. Mike was very gracious in providing his services and kindly did not charge me, even though I took up plenty of his and his mechanic s time. As the daughter of an auto mechanic, I know the frustration that can come with the negative stereotype associated with this profession. Mike is honest, professional, and kind! He will definitely be the first mechanic I call when I can t quite make it down the shore to my dad :)

I can t give this place enough stars. Mike is so honest and helpful. I was quoted $3800 from a different mechanic, he told me my only option was a new transmission. For some reason I googled transmission shops in my area and a list of 5 pulled up, but for some reason I called Mike. I knew I found the right guy a minute into the conversation. $650 dollars and my car will be ready tomorrow. If you need a knowledgeable, honest mechanic , look no further !!

Awesome transmission shop. Mike is the best, friendly and patient. I was stranded with a blown transmission line he took the time to explain how to fix and actually got the pieces and showed me how to reconnect. I would recommend everyone to see mikes transmission. Very honest and offered to double check my work.

Do not bring your car/pick up truck here. No matter how much experience this shops boasts it has, it fell very short of doing a even a good job. The transmission was "rebuilt" here. Had to take my truck back 8 times after I picked it up, but not after having it been in the shop for about 6 weeks the first time. The truck spent a total of about 12 weeks in this shop and was never fixed. After taking it out of this shop for the last time, the transmission had to be rebuilt once again and I found out that the transmission was only partially rebuilt.

CONARTIST! My wife insisted that she bring her car to Mike's Transmission for routine maintenance. When she got the bill I was furious. She was taken advantage of by this "mechanic" shop. When I confronted the owner, he stated that it costs money to send a guy and pick up the parts, which out of all my years of going to different mechanics, I never heard of this charge. After removing the rest wheels to do a brake inspection, and $60 later, the lugnuts were so loose I could remove them by hand. Removing the wheels to tell me my pads are low and charge me $60? $45 in labor to change the air filter, which literally takes no more than 2 minutes. Not to mention I heard a clanking noise and inspected the air filter, only to realize it was installed wrong. First and last time dealing with this shop. Hope he enjoys the $500 my wife gave him, cause hell never get another penny from me or her.

Friendly knowledgeable shop that has been here for 20 years. Had an issue with my vehicle surging at idle and at acceleration. Mike diagnose the issue in a timely manner. I recommend Mikes to anyone and now is my go to guy.

Took my 1976 Chevy truck there with a clutch problem after someone else installed a new one Mike found the problem fixed it at a fair price and it is better then it ever was before. Thanks for a great job

I came here because I thought I was going to need a new trans. Mike helped me out only to find out it was low on fluid and one of the lines was leaking. Honest and good guy mike is.

Called several times, no answer. Showed up, the worker himself was rude. Just felt like I wasn't welcome / and they didn't want to work with me. Maybe I stepped in on a bad day?
