I visited Car Kings for the first time this week and I was thoroughly impressed. My prior experience was getting my VW serviced at the local dealers, who lie, fail to fix things and charge you anyway, jack up the price after fixing things without checking with you first, etc. etc. In contrast, John and his team at Car Kings replaced my battery as requested, checked the alternator at no charge (and did not falsely claim it needed to be replaced), did several other checks at no charge and pointed out a few issues, did other free maintenance like replacing washer fluid, filling all the tires, etc. The whole experience was helpful and friendly. And their prices were pretty much as expected from my research on the issue. They are definitely going to be my new first choice for all my car service needs.

I would not think of going elsewhere. Since I found them as the best repair shop ever. They are knowledgeable, fairly priced, honest and friendly. John, the owner knows virtually everything about car and truck repairs and with great patience he will explain everything and doesn t push repairs.

Best mechanic I have had in years!! They were able to diagnose and fix a critical problem on my Jeep. The pricing is fair and I feel the quality of work is there. John the Owner took the time to explain everything part by part. The best part was that unlike other mechanics who pressure you into doing more work to the car, John explained some things that he saw and when I should expect to do it. He gave me the option and explained what is best to do. I found Car King when my 2003 ram 1500 wouldn't turn on brought it to a few places no one could figure it out. had it towed to Car King and they diagnosed the problem,Was very happy I had my work truck back.Recent brought my wife's ford edge for spark plugs and oil leaks he is currently working on it im very confident of the work done here. I also gave him.( My Toy) Ford F150 for spark plug change since I didn't want to break a plug inside. Recently moved from NY and was hoping to find my new auto shop to replace somewhere I d been going to for years. Came here for a routine brake change as well as a request to top off and change any fluids as necessary. Needless to say, after picking up my car, it was suddenly making a loud sound every time I hit a pothole. A sound it had never made before. It took a few attempts for them to figure out what had gone wrong and they ultimately repaired it. I still hear the brakes squeak intermittently and can t honestly say I feel comfortable with the work performed or the parts received. Aside from the brakes, only a couple of weeks after service, my steering fluid light came on. I really wish I d had a better experience. I feel spoiled having had a great spot all these years on Long Island. I won t be a return customer and will be looking elsewhere for future service. I want to reiterate that everyone at this shop was pleasant to deal with and my issue was ultimately resolved. But it was costly (using Ubers to drop off and pickup multiple times) and time consuming.Service: Brakes

It's easy to tell that providing the best possible service is very important to John and his staff. It's so very important that your vehicle always be in great condition, especially driving here in New Jersey. I never have any concern since I began using Car Kings to care for my car. Recently we had to bring in our work truck to John and his team. Ford 6.0 diesel motor and if anyone knows its always though to find very good experienced techs to work on them. Our truck needed a lot of TLC and John and his team got her running like new again. John kept me posted the whole way though the repairs and all was done in a timely manner. My car battery died on the way to work and luckily, I was able to get to Car Kings mechanics. John was kind enough to not only look at my car, but he was able to fix the battery and alternator in just a few hours. John and his crew explained everything to me and helped me to understand what was going on with my car (not just charging me like some other mechanics in the past). 100% would recommended this shop and I will definitely be returning for future auto work!Service: Battery

Car Kings is an honest reliable company. We took one of our service vans in believing they needed new brakes, after Car Kings assessed the vehicle, it was determined the vehicle did not need new brakes. We appreciate their honesty and this will be our go to Auto Body shop moving forward. We highly recommend them!

Older Jaguar with a few issues. John quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it as soon as he could get the parts. Repair was done expertly and resolved the problem. Fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend John's Car Kings. This place must not rely much on repeat business as they seem to size you up then make up a price for their service depending on what they think you'll pay. $129 for an oil change on a VW Golf is gouge pricing and way more than even the VW dealer. Honest and transparent. Been coming here for a few years now, and I won't take my car elsewhere. Recently brought my car to the dealership to fix a recall, and they quoted me for over $3k of additional repairs I "needed". Brought it to John at Car Kings, and he told me what I really needed vs what I might eventually want to get done. On the repairs I decided to move forward with, I saved easily over a thousand vs the dealership quote. My bill is reviewed and explained every time I pay, and it's clear what I am paying for. My father was a car lover who trusted his mechanic as much as he trusted his doctor. Now I can say the same about John at Car Kings. He s all about honest, friendly customer service and expert car repair. Unlike some mechanics, he doesn t push repairs on you earlier than you need them. If you need more repairs than you expected (it happens), he helps you prioritize them to soften the blow. He s no pressure. He s saved me tickets by telling me my front plate was missing and my registration was expired. His staff has given me rides back home when I drop my car off. He even gave my son free advice on which car to buy. This is personalized service you rarely see today. If I looked hard, I could probably find a cheaper mechanic, but I won t find a more honest one. That matters to me. I won t go to anywhere but Car Kings.Service: Oil change

There are no words to describe John and his business/staff. Always so welcoming and always so detailed. There is nobody like them! Trust me on this! If you want your money worth and your vehicle long live and taken care of at its best this is the place to go! They get the job done once and for all! I am forever a costumer. I have took my 2 cars to many mechanical places that never fix the cars as car king. They're honest clean and good at their work.Highly recommend this place. Don't look somewhere else. when i schedule an appointment for an oil change I know they will give the entire car a thorough examination to make sure it will be in top condition when I leave the shop. John the owner will tell me what they find, quote the price and leave it up to me to decide if I want to go ahead with repairs. Integrity is their hallmark. I trust them completely. I absolutely recommend bringing your vehicle here. The gentleman I worked with was very kind, honest, knowledgeable, resourceful, and helpful. Not to mention, he was able to take a look at my car asap due to the type of problem it had. I guess I got lucky on this particular day, I don't expect the same luck next time lol. That is very much appreciated and definitely does not go unacknowledged. It's not very common that you find genuine mechanics these days who actually have the skillset and customer service to go along with it. Thank you for the thorough information and great experience!

I brought my car into this shop for 2 codes being thrown in my transmission... Not only did the shop owner look at my car from top to bottom, he also checked my brakes, fluids, filters and more. They are EXTREMELY trustworthy and do not mess around when giving you an honest answer. John called me whenever a problem arose and he made sure every step of the way that I was informed that was going on. The prices are great and the amount of detail they put into making sure your car is in good order is unachievable at any other shop. John is very detailed and proficient and will tell you exactly what needs to be done. The cost for repairs are worth every penny rather than bouncing from place to place from one dishonest mechanic to another. I had major costly repairs corrected here from a previous rip off incompetent garage, and I haven't had a single problem since. They will give you pictures if you need them. Car Kings is solid - very professional, and very straight forward, use quality parts, and they get rid of the headache of a major problem. It's been over a year and my car sounds and feels awesome. If asked to express my view of Car Kings in one word: TRUST. They are honest, highly responsive, very available to discuss my car AND were willing to stay late while my car was towed there. I'd rate them 10 STARS, but the rating system only goes up to 5. The owner, John, sincerely cares!!! Best experience I've ever had with car service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Car Kings was my best experience with a mechanic ever! Had a weird sound coming from my car, and within one test drive the owner pinpointed the exact problem just by the sound! Now my 2012 BMW is running like a charm. John was AMAZING! I had to get my passenger side mirror replaced. I stopped by before work and knew exactly what needed to be ordered . He ordered the parts and they arrived in a couple if hours...Went back during my lunch break and he fixed it in no time! He was quick , efficient, honest and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

Been taking my car here for the past 7 years and haven't had a complaint for any work done. From the owner down to office personnel and mechanics have taken the time to address all repair work in a timely manner, usually on the same day. Prices are competitive. Glad they are located near where I live too.

Started my car in the morning to the dreaded check engine light being on! After some online research came across Car Kings in my home town of Wallington. Briefly explained the issues I was having with my car to the service manager Anthony. He was extremely professional over the phone and explained the process of how they will diagnose the problem. Took my car at 1 in the afternoon and by 2:45 they gave me a full report on what was causing the problem. Outside of what was causing the check engine light to turn on they also advised of some minor issues they noticed. However there was absolutely no pressure to perform all services they noticed. The owner John was the one who actually called me to go over the report they ran through the diagnostic scan. They could not have been more helpful and make you feel at ease knowing your car is in good hands. By 6pm I was back in my car and it was running like new!! To top it all of the prices are right in line with what I would expect to spend for my repairs. Excellent service, fair pricing, and mechanics who talk to you like a normal person what more can you ask for from a mechanic. I HIGHLY recommend this mechanic to any friends and family or anyone in general looking for a reliable and friendly shop. Thank you Anthony & John from a very happy customer.
