I've been taking my car to Union Lube Shop for years now, and I can confidently say they're the best mechanics in town.They're incredibly knowledgeable and always able to diagnose the problem quickly and accurately. Their repairs are honest and fairly priced. They never try to sell you unnecessary services. The customer service is outstanding and the team are friendly, professional, and always happy to explain things in layman's terms.

I was at Motor Vehicle in Springfield and had a low tire. I came across their business as I searched for a near by shop. After my experience, I can see why these guys have such a great rating on google. I walked in, they took my car right away, and I was in and out very quickly. Their professionalism and their kindness was a breath of fresh air. Thank you gentlemen for helping me and getting me back on the road as quickly as you did.

My vehicle goes to the left. I asked for a wheel alignment. They performed an alignment and test drove the car. Paid for an alignment and receipt acknowledged that they couldn't help but noticed front end is not good. Still goes to the left.Shop wasn't 100% sure on the cause without more time. Their first guess was the motor mount.As a response to you and I will avoid the back and forth:Took me 5 months to write the review but not 5 months to notice the vehicle pulled to the left after leaving your shop. Your invoice even acknowledged on day 1 that it still pulls and that you couldn't help.A Friend had referred you to me which is why I went to your shop. With no mention of which parts are loose, only "maybe motor mount", and no estimate cost of repair, I didn't feel a lot of confidence, especially after paying for an alignment.

Don t recommend going here for anything other than general maintenance. Ignorant and pricey, you get your oil change for significantly cheaper at any commercial place nearby!

Ok. Until it wasn t. Asked if I had to make an appointment for oil change a little after 10am. The one of the auto mechanics said no. But car wasn t serviced until around 11:15am. I came and no cars were being worked on. Oil change was a little over price but not extremely.My discontent came when I noticed my key fob was damaged after giving it to auto mechanic. I understand things happen, but when I expressed my concern owner or whoever managing billing - initially was defensive and dismissive . When I expressed my concerns, immediately his demeanor and response is as if he really could care less and it is not of his concern.The courtesy would have been to inquire of your employees if anything happened while the keys were in their possession that contributed to broken fob. This should not have been addressed only after the customer asked for you to follow up.Customers appreciate total experience - not just service. Won t be returning.I received this oil change on 11.25.2023. Today 12.09.2023 (3 weeks since oil change) I m at (another auto shop- a trusted brand) and they said I need motor oil because it is too low. SMH this should have been done during the oil change . Feeling extremely peeved.

Went in here for them to replace a dead battery on one of my cars. They saw the issue happened to be a loose battery as opposed to a dead one. I had initially brought a brand new one for them to install but they fixed my issue and sent me home with a functioning battery and a new one I could return to get my money back.....all on the house. Can't thank you enough. I'll see you next month for my oil change.

I wouldn t even give this place one star. Definitely stay away from this place.I took my car to them on Monday November 06, 2023 the next day I have to take my car to the shop again because my car couldn t start. They made me pay almost 2k and they didn t fix anything.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

First and foremost these guys are the real deal. They went above and beyond to revamp my CRV. They kept me up to speed with timely updates and got my car feeling new again. I don t do reviews much so that lets you know what these guys are about. As long as this staff stays here I m gonna be a long time customer. I went to change the oil in my car, when they finished I wanted to know what oil they had put in, so I asked the mechanic and he didn't let me be seen and at the office I asked again and they did it with a bad attitude. Your attention is very bad

Came there for starter issues two weeks ago . Paid over 1049.00 for the car to still be shaking and I m currently in the middle of no where with a car that won t start . They are thieves. They like money and they will play guessing games with your car before they try to figure out what s wrong with your car. Stay away from these people. Joe is shady and he is greedy for money . He has the gift to gab but he didn t care for my satisfaction for my vehicle . I will never trust them again.

Definitely stay away from this place for any work on your car. I've used them for awhile for my oil changes and the price for the oil changes seem to be in line with all the other places. But had my wife go there for front brake replacement on her 2020 Toyota Corolla and they charged her $525.56. They said that's what it costs, but I know for for a fact the the average price is $200-$300. I understand a business needs to make their money but that's a ridiculous over charge. I might not even go back for oil changes after this, even though they are nice people.Service: Brakes

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! I came here years ago for a check engine light on for an older car. I had mentioned what my father and I suspected was wrong with the car but weren't sure and asked for help. I left my car with them for three days, and they put 100 miles on my vehicle and didn't fix any issue. When I asked about the issue they said, "yea we fixed it" and when I got in the car and noticed the miles, I confronted them about it. He told me yea, "we used your car to transport parts, if you don't like it write a Yelp review." Don't use these guys, they're unprofessional and lie straight to your face, not to mention charge you an obsurd amount for nothing. There are plenty of better shops in the area who are helpful and give you good pricing. Don't go to these crooks.

We are new customers who trusts this shop since 2022. The first time we came was for an oil change which was quick and affordable. When we had questions, they answered. When we we had concerns, they inspected and eased our worries. Everything was smooth and stress free.Second time now, we brought our Tiguan Volkswagen because of a leak. Joe, at the front, was helpful and listened to our concerns. Once our car was diagnosed, he shared this leak should still be under our warranty and suggested for us call our dealership. This could ve been an easy hustle, but Joe showed professionalism and simply, humanity. The willingness to be helpful and really looking out for the best interest of the customer. This evidently proves their high ratings and as a returning customer, I confidently share this Union Lube Shop is trustworthy. We walked out super thankful. The leak was indeed covered in our warranty. We are thankful to Union Lube Shop and Joe.

Not sure why they wanted to deny me service or work. Came for a simple battery replacement but alas, games were played. Was told my alternator was the issue. But 3 other shops and the battery manufacturer says i have a bad battery.

Can t recommend this place enough!! Went in today for front end steering noises and they did a full diagnostic and filled up the steering fluid without ridiculous prices/upselling. I thought it was a mechanical issue but they were honest, and didn t try to sell unnecessary services or maintenance. They were so patient answering my questions, accessible, and very friendly will definitely be coming back for all my car needs. A real gem.

Today was my first time at Union Lube Shop and it was an amazing experience!! The manager, Joe, is so nice and well-mannered. I went in for an oil change and he spotted that I needed new front brakes so I got that repaired. Service was a little pricier than other places, but I believe it is completely worth it. He was even kind enough to throw in a courtesy to me and perform a service he did not need to, free of charge. I will definitely be doing future business with the man, who may have literally saved my life!Services: Brakes, Oil change
