Lowest level of service. I called ahead of time, agreed on a price and time, arrived and they told me a different price, after a 30-minute conversation the driver returned the price they promised earlier, it took more than five hours to change the tires on the wheels, the owner says you need to do a wheel alignment, what kind do you have? That's a problem. I said, show me what the problem is, but he could not explain, the owner was not there after that. The worker changed the tires, I see that there is not enough pressure, he does not understand what air pressure is in BAR or PSI. At home I checked the nuts on the wheels, they were not tightened. Terrible service.

Mr. Tire employees are always very professional, friendly, and fair with pricing at the Old Bridge and Union locations. My only issues are that for my last two visits at the Union location, the same-day service promised to me turned into three days instead. What made my last visit bad though was that less than 48 hours after picking up my car which needed multiple services including, installing new wiper blades, one of the blades fell off while I was driving my car at 1 o clock in the morning luckily, right after the rain had stopped. Later that day, I returned my car and was promptly helped by one of the employees who replaced the part.

The people at this business are very helpful and they are very reputable. I had to have parts replaced and they have a very good warranty on the parts. I ve always have a very good experience with this place and I would highly recommend it.

I went in for a tire patch and rotation. They patch the tire correctly, from the inside, rebalance and mount for a reasonable price. However, it took 2 hours to do the work and they weren't very busy. After the work was done, it took another 30+ minutes for someone to charge me, and I had to go find someone to take care of it. Not at all concerned with customers time.

I had an appointment that I made online with Amazon and selected this location for installation. I also called and spoke with the stores manager 3 days in advance to confirm. The appointment was set for 7:30am. I arrived 5 mins early and was taken in at 7:30am. I checked in and then another customer came in and was checked in right away without an appointment right after me. (I heard the conversation) The other customers vehicle was pulled in the shop before mine. I found that strange but didn t say anything. I waited 50 mins. My car still not touched. During that 50 mins I decided to google the tire shop s reviews. I was shocked what I saw and totally agree with all the negative reviews. When I questioned the store manager he rudely said hold on and was texting someone on his personal cell phone during work hours. Then he walked away to hide in the back shop. When the tech finally came over to get into my car I stopped him to ask if there equipment was capable to install my larger then normal tires. He said he wasn t sure and would try. I stopped him right away and went to the manager and asked him to cancel the work order and give me the tires I paid for. I didn t want them to damage my new expensive wheels. He rudely said great idea. He opened the shops door and threw them out of the shop into the parking lot. You are in the customer service business and act like the world is against you. This was my first and last time ever going to Mr Tire in Union. Corporate should really look into this because they are loosing a lot of business and having a manager act like this is dragging the Mr Tire name down. Completely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. What a great way to start my day. Thanks Mr Tire in Union NJ for a terrible experience.

FYI, when someone calls and says they have a flat tire, give them the correct time for the fix. Just called and mentioned I had a flat tire and they said to come in 1 hour. Get to the location, and then stays, I need to wait 1.5 hours. What a joke of a business. I guess it was a cheap fix right?

Said i needed a brake job. I said i spent $800 several months agi. He couldnt find it. Then he looked in hitory and he confirmed i was there in octoberThis time he said it was the rear brakes and it was bad.Did i need rear brakes or were they just trying to pad the bill?

I had a tire light on since yesterday and decided to get it checked out. I called Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers after dropping my daughter off to school and spoke to Jorge he told me to bring the car in at 9 so I didn't have to wait.I couldn't be happier with the decision of bringing the car in since he found a nail in the tire. I was never pushed to purchase add-on items to the tires unlike other places I have visited. I was in and out in 45 mins. The staff is polite and courteous. Jorge was super helpful in guiding me to the right tires for my car. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in need of getting your car looked at.

My husband and I just went by there after getting a flat tire on Route 22. The man in the shop said that they were closed despite the posted hours stating that they close at 7. They also had an OPEN sign flashing in the window. Not reliable. Do not recommend.

My tire pressure monitoring system was screwed. These guys fixed it up in 30 minutes and 40 bucks. First class service.

Horrible customer service. Was told I ll be right with you waited about 35 minutes ( I was in desperate need of a tire replacement and no one else was open in the area) for him to come back out and tell me he doesn t know if he can take me today but for me to wait and to give him a second and he disappeared again.The tech told me it s almost time to go home . I was there at 5:00 pm and they re open till 7:00pm. They clearly didn t want my business at which point I choose to walk out and go somewhere else.

Updated review in 2023:Different manager is awful. My 5 stars are now 1 star because I waited at the front desk 15 minutes and did not have anyone come help me until I called their phone number. Then the manager came out and wasn t even friendly, like I was asking too much of him for a tire replacement. Never coming back.

This place is horrendous. I advise to find another tire place other than here. They are extremely untimely, I was told 4 told to call back hours later for 1 tire replacement! Not to mention they dented my car and although they offered to right their wrong, they did it in the most unprofessional way and I still have dents in my car from them. Manny is super unprofessional.

Go here if you feel like getting scammed. Get priced for 500 online and when you go in for the appointment they tell you it ll be 700-900. I don t like writing reviews but this place sucks.

Went in for an oil change, was told that it would take an hour. They called me 2 hours later to pick up my car. Cherry on top was they didn t even do my oil change because their equipment was broken. Wish they were more professional and timely

If I could give a zero I would. I walked in asked for them to check my tire to see if it could get it patched the man in front I believe his name is Mr. Gonzalez didn't bother to look at my tire and pushed that I get a new one. Lazy, rude and just down right obnoxious.

Very friendly and helpful staff 4.5, had 4 rotors and a brakes changed and 2 new tires all the work was done very well, would of been 5 stars if the work done a little sooner caused me to be late picking up my wife. But I do plan to use this shop in the future.

I got a flat tire on rt 22 and was towed to this place. I was the only one there, so I was so confused when I was waiting for over 1 hour. However, the men were very nice. The place was super clean and well kept.

Jorge and Pierre were very helpful. They fixed my tire in a timely fashion and Jorge let me know when I could come back for my vehicle with no issues. The fee was fair and the service was really good. I wanted to take the time to leave good feedback bc I feel like we only hear about negative experiences. This was really easy and worked out well for me with the time frame I had. Thanks again everyone !

I arrived about an hour early to my appointment. Didn't receive any trouble for being really early. I walked in 15 minutes prior to appointment to let the staff know I was already here. I went for an oil change. The clerk was honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took good care of my vehicle and serviced the car very fast.

Dejon was very attentive and gave me all the information I asked for. Other than that I should of finished my ball joints myself. I took my car there because I could not get the ball joints off myself (they were stuck on there) and needed a wheel alignment. They charge above dealership pricing for mediocre work. The mechanic who worked on my car forgot to tighten my lug nuts down, check over your cars before you pay and leave! I also looked over their work once I got home and that same mechanic did not put the cotter pin on the ball joint. I really should have tried harder to do my own work.

We got a flat tire at 6pm on a Friday. Called a bunch of places and got no answer. These guys picked up and stayed late after close to get us back on the road for a 3hr drive to DE for Father s Day. Thanks guys!

Had the best experience with Jorge and Lance at this Union location! Prices were insanely competitive, service was top notch, and the entire staff was very honest and professional. Came in for 4 new tires, brakes, and alignment (had this done at 3 other shops prior but never got it right until Jorge and Lance got their hands on my vehicle). Drives like a dream, highly recommend!

Phil the shop manager was super helpful and accommodating. I've come here for oil changes and just recently a flat tire replacement and each time I've had a pleasant experience with every staff member at this location. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for honest and rapid auto service!**********New review update: ****************I wasn't able to leave a separate review for my most recent visit. I went in on 1/23 to get my brakes done. Phil as always explained the extent of the repairs for my badly worn brakes. He assisted me to be the best of his abilities and was able to to minimize my expense by not trying to add on "extra" repairs to my tab. Every interaction I've had with this staff has been honest and never deceiving or unsettling. I feel at ease when coming to Mr. Tire knowing that any questions I've had(which are always a million of them) have been answered to the best of their knowledge. Phil, Jose, and their techs are all a pleasure to deal with! Actions speak louder than words in my book and this shop has definitely proven themselves to me as a customer. Truly would recommend their services to anyone with no hesitation.

Promised me tires for the following day then called the following day at 1 PM. Was first told they would be there by 4PM. Then I received a call back 15 minutes later. They told there was no way the tires could possibly arrive that day. After pushing and prodding they admitted that it was an error for me to have been told they would arrive the following day in the first place but were completely unapologetic. I was extremely clear that I needed the tires by the following day.I was promised the $50 deposit would be removed from my credit card. It wasn't. I had to call my credit card to dispute my charge.Altogether a pathetic operation. Go somewhere else for tires.
