Brought my truck to Union GMC on rt 22. They sold me a new ignition, computer module and 2 relays. Aftr $2,837.42.... I still had the same electrical issues. I heard about Sal at IMG so I took it to them. In 4 days he found corroded wiring that only cost me $187 to repair. This was the problem all along.I ONLY RECOMMEND THEM NOW.

Unmatched expertise and personal attention. These words don t describe the level of service, knowledge and care Sal, Joe and the entire IMG team live by. They take personal care of every customer and vehicle serviced as if it were their own. Technically they have master level knowledge and rarely are unable to diagnose an issue. They proactively check every vehicle beyond the initial problem to ensure their customers leave with a safe and working automobile. Every single staff member takes great pride in their work as well as work as quickly as possible. You know you re in good hands when their lot is full of cars each and every day it s a wonder they are able to somehow keep up. In todays era master mechanics are a diamond in the rough. I cannot thank the IMG team enough for continuing on their family tradition and impeccable service. Decades of thankful customers and I hope many more successful years to IMG.

Sal and his team are the absolute best. In one week, they went above and beyond on two different cars. On one, they set us up with a great body shop. On the second one, Sal came over after dark to help with a dead battery and jammed locks. Can't recommend them more!

Sal is an honest mechanic and really skilled. My husband and I needed a pre-inspection for a used car, and he went out of his way to stay late for us (we were coming from another state), and inspect the car with a full diagnostic test. He drove it, tested it, inspected it, and gave us a wealth of knowledge that saved us time and money. Can't wait to give him our business again soon!Thanks SalMichael and Ramy

Sal and his team are fantastic! I had a bumper bar I needed installed on my new car that required some body work and it looks seamless! like it came with the car. Thank you Frank!They get right down to business and do a solid job. It feels like a real family run joint between the workers and customers. A half dozen costumers came in while I was waiting and were all greeted by name with smiles and handshakes. Great to see that their customers keep coming back to do business.Highly recommend! I have been going to IMG for 20 plus years. Sal is the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever used. He made it a point to get to know my whole family so they felt comfortable seeking his help when they needed it. On two occasions he fixed my car in my driveway and at a grocery store parking lot to save me towing charges. I am sure he has saved me thousands of dollars over the years due to his diligence and professionalism. Extremely well run business from beginning to end. You are treated with the utmost respect, and every detail explained. I could not be more impressed or left with a better impression. Awesome family owned shop. I had an issue with older model European car and even with their busy schedule they were able to diagnose it and fix. Joe and his team are very personable, reliable, and honest. In life we, have little control over our destiny. We can only change what we can change. Do yourself a favor and change who you entrust with the care of your automobiles and get over to IMG TODAY. It seems like yesterday, but it has been 3 decades (thirty years) that we have trusted Sal Colatruglio and Joe Colatruglio with our automobiles care. Trust is a difficult feeling to embrace. It seems that everywhere we turn, people want to charge more and do less. Look no further. Trust is the bedrock of this establishment. Every team member shares the same core values; trust, respect and empathy. You will never be satisfied anyplace else after you start coming to IMG with your cars and SUV's. There's a reason why this shop has all 5 star reviews. Their customer service and honesty is exactly what you want in a shop. Sal completely took care of me and I'm extremely satisfied to have found a shop that I can depend on. Brought my 2013 Honda Accord in for a new starter and they turned it around in under 24 hours. Couldn't ask for a better experience and I really appreciate what these guys have put together in this place.

I do not write reviews unless I am absolutely blown away by a business. For absolutely no reason at all, with no chance of repeat business or referrals as I live very far from the location of the shop, Sal and his son took care of me like I was family. Not only did I feel extremely comfortable bringing my BMW E46 m3 that they inspected before purchase, because of their incredibly extensive knowledge of the vehicle but I just felt like I was bringing it to a family member. They totally had my back unlike most shops when I feel like I have to be ready to negotiate with the mechanic. I instantly knew I was in great hands. The only downside to my experience with IMG was that I wish they were closer to Long Island because I would never bring my car anywhere else. Hands down best , most professional experience I have ever had at an auto body shop.

Joe is hands-down a great guy and there's no question about it! If you have had one too many bad experiences with auto-mechanics, then you'll be surprised with the sheer genuine human experience you get from Joe! He is no-nonsense and also very nice and friendly. The first time our car had a problem, our wonderful neighbor suggested him and we brought our car over. He said he'd have to keep the car for a couple of days to evaluate. He made sure to drive our car, take it for a good spin, evaluated it, spent time with it and did not charge a dime! We have brought our car regularly to him for whatever issues that have risen. I am happy to recommend him for your auto-woes! He will make it, auto-wows! Cheesy but true! Give Joe a try!

Best mechanics I've ever dealt with.Even the owners are completely involved in all the repairs.They were prompt and reasonable.Explained the problem and the fix and the amount of time it would take.Definitely recommend this place

Sal always does a great job with our cars. Several years ago we had a chronic problem with our Suburban SUV, and after Chevrolet failed three times to solve the problem we took it to Sal and he sorted it out. That was the first time we worked with IMG. We've gone to him many times since with different cars. Most recently he just fixed the screen on our Mercedes. He's honest, reliable and very good at what he does. You won't regret being his customer.

The service at IMG was professional, friendly and excellent. I thought I had a more severe issue with my car but they got to the bottom of of it. Service to my car was completed bin a timely fashion. Joe (owner) is the best and I strongly recommend IMG for your car repair needs and maintenance.

Finally, a mechanic that I can trust. There is nowhere else I will be bringing my vehicle to after discovering this gem. I had such a refreshing experience with Sal in which he diagnosed the problem and performed the repair in a timely manner at a fair price. Sal and Joe are the most knowledgeable, honest and caring auto shop owners I have encountered in my forty plus years of owning cars. They go out of their way to help while trying to keep costs down. Recently, they were able to have a parts supplier warranty an expensive faulty part on my Mercedes, even though it was out of warranty. I can't say enough good things about their level of expertise and service.Peter

IMG is by far the most reliable, honest and friendly garage I have ever encountered. Sal and Joey are brothers who are great people. Each in their own way. The work done here could easily charge more because of the quality. But no, they treat their customers like friends and show their integrity.Sal has helped me out during tough times. I feel like the guys are like family. Eno is a top notch mechanic. I don't have enough accolades for IMG. Go there once and you will never use another mechanic.

Please Note: The only reason I'm giving this a four star review is so readers actually believe this is a REAL review. The truth is these guys deserve six stars and are beyond professional and informative.I purchased a car from a local used car dealership and took it to IMG for a pre-purchase inspection not knowing the area or the garage at all, other than reading all the positive reviews online. I spoke to Sal when I called and he was welcoming and responsive, telling me to bring the car in whenever I was ready. I called Sal with only 15 minutes lead time on the day of purchase and he took the car in immediately, giving it a full inspection and diagnostic test, even hoisting it up on the lift and giving it a test drive. He and Pete's feedback was invaluable and allowed me to further negotiate the purchase price on a used 2009 BMW X3 in good condition, with a few upkeep-related concerns. Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle to IMG. These guys are great! And the peace of mind is priceless.

Brought my 2010 Mini Cooper here for an oil leak and they tried to convince me it was my piston rings. Got a second opinion elsewhere and it turns out it was the oil filter housing gasket, a significantly cheaper repair job. I have been taking my car to IMG for years. I learned about them through google and chose them because of their great reviews.Sal and his team are amazing. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They are knowledgable, trustworthy, and efficient. You will not find a better auto shop in NJ.

Sal was great ! I have worked with so many mechanic in the past who are either negligent or try to gouge me with pricing. This hands down was one of the easiest trips to the mechanic ever. From start to finished he made the experience easy, was clear on what I needed and could do without and even found ways to save me a few bucks. I am super glad I found him and now have a mechanic I could trust. Would recommend to literally everyone I know.

These guys are really special. They took my car and analyzed the situation and gave me the step by step breakdown of the repairs and parts needed. The cost was a fraction of what the dealers would charge for a german import (Audi). I highly recommend them if you're in the area. They even will take a ride with you to diagnose the problems and offer a ride to work if your nearby. They are undoubtedly the best in the area. two thumbs up big time!
