My car was damaged in a hit-and-run accident in December 2023. I was given the option of selecting my preferred repair shop and, based on my research I came across and chose Garden State Collision. I can readily say that this was the best decision I had made in a long while. Steve was the one who dealt with me from the get go and, believe me, he was always there to speak with me on the phone and was never hesitant to give me an update, even if it was not favorable. The long and short of it is that this company restored my car to it's pre-collision condition and this has resulted in me loving it even more than I did before it got damaged. So my heart felt thanks to Steve and the Garden State Collision crew for a great job and for finishing way before the anticipated time. I am more than happy to have met you guys. I'll readily recommend you to the world!!

Steve and his crew are great,Job was done professionally!! On time,Actually sooner then what he told me.My truck Went in for minor work!! Truck looks like new!!! Paint matched perfectly, you can t notice!! Car was washed inside and out!! I would highly recommend!!Thank you Steve and all the staff

I recommend this family owned collision business. Steve actually remembered me from 3 years earlier when I brought my Altima there before my lease was up. This year my daughter had some front end damage and needed it done in 7 days because again the lease was up. He had a lot full of cars but due to my circumstances they worked around my time frame. They are honest people in a ( we got you by the balls business.) I was willing to pay extra $$ for the expedited service but they didn't entertain that conversation. Lastly I was calling Uber and he knew my address from the paperwork and told me he was going in my direction and gave me a ride home. You could say IWAS TAKEN FOR A NICE FREE RIDE.Service: Body & Trim

Garde State Collision is great body shop repair store. Steve is always very helpful and professional. Once they had to repair deep scratch on the rear of my Range Rover SUV and the job was done quickly and with the highest quality. Second time I had a long but not so deep scratch on the rear door and Steve took care of it in just about 15 minutes time. If you are looking for honest, hard working and professional body shop outfit than Garden State Collision is your place to go.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Garden State Collision is the best! They replaced my tire, repaired my rims and my front bumper. All parts are good as new! They re efficient and I received my car ahead of schedule. Steve was very attentive. He called with updates and delivered my car immediately after completion. I walked in today to get an estimate on a deep scratch on my rear passenger door. Steve Jr talked to and gave me the estimate. He said it would probably be better to just do some touch up. He applied the paint and the clear coat and gave me some tips on how to make it look even better! The best part, he didn't charge me anything! I've taken my car here before for another dent and they do great work. Highly recommended. Thanks Steve!

I had body repair done. Dropped the car before opening hours and then picked up the next day before the workday ended. The work was exceptional - like brand new. Every employee I interacted with was professional and prompt. I was surprised to see my vehicle was cleaner inside and out than when I had dropped it. The tires were even sprayed with a nice finish. I was very, very impressed with their work and professionalism. I will be referring all friends and family here.

I m surprised that this place got a lot of reviews. My husband went with a 2015 rav4 to fix the trunk but the guy he met did not even touch the car and said I don't want to get involved, it's too messy . I'm confused!!!!!!!. What does that mean?? Hope you treat people the same

i have used Garden State Collision for numerous repairs to my vehicles over the years. Their estimates have always been reasonable and the staff professional and pleasant to deal with. Most recently, my vehicle needed a significant repair and Steve was incredibly helpful to me in navigating the insurance system so that I could have my vehicle fixed promptly and completely. I can not recommend Garden State highly enough.

I am very glad that I chose to get my car fixed at Garden State Collision! My car roof and sides were damaged from a tree and everyone at this location worked so efficiently to complete the repairs in a timely manner for me! I spoke directly with Steve and Mike who were able to provide me with updates throughout the repairs and they were very personable and honest. This location is highly recommended!

Garden State collision did a really great job repairing my wife's 2015 mini countryman. They replaced the door and left the car looking better than new. On top of being well done, they were understanding and the project was affordable.Overall 10/10 - would recommend

These guys are great. I had a major repair and a minor fender-bender fixed here and I am pleased with both results. These guys are also very good when it comes to paint matching, which was an issue I had with another shop previously. After 2 months and viewing the paintwork under different lights, I can honestly say their work is seamless.

Just the best !! Can't thank Steve enough for all the help and advice, what a nice guy ! Although we had used Garden State Collision before for body work and got excellent service and results this was the first time dealing with accident damage to our vehicle. The car ended up being totaled so he never actually got any work out of it but Steve helped me navigate the process whilst my husband was out of town which was a huge help. I would highly recommend Garden State Collision to anyone looking for an honest family business who cares about it's customers. Should we ever have body work to be done on our cars in the future this will be the only company we will use. Thank you Steve.

I am really happy with the work done on my car. Steve and all the other people I spoke to were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Steve throughly explained everything to me and answered all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Garden State Collision to anyone!

This place is AMAZING!!! Mr. Steve is incredibly kind, communicative and helpful. He gave me a really honest price, explained all of the parts and labor costs on a repair job and had it all done in one day. He called me once it was done. I will definitely be coming back here again!

We had an accident repair done here a couple of years ago and the service was excellent! Friendly, honest and they take pride in their work. We went back recently with a minor repair on another car and Steve remembered us and was happy to make the repair right there and then and wouldn't charge us for it! We would never go anywhere else! Thanks, Steve!

As I was driving down rt22, I hit a buck about the size of my car full on. It flipped up and over my car, snapping off an antler in the process which was impaled above my passenger side door. It destroyed the front bumper, hood, and scratched the roof. The passenger side window wouldn't stay up. (Not to mention a piece of antler was actually LODGED above the passenger door.)Luckily, myself and my passenger were fine. No injuries. But, I was afraid that the car I love, my 2017 MINI Cooper S, was totaled.All I can say is, thank goodness for Garden State Collision in Union. Steve made the process so simple to the point that I still wonder if it was just a bad dream. He worked with my insurance company and talked me through/took care of the whole process. My car looks as good as the day I drove it off the lot.

These guys did a difficult job quickly and professionally, my once half-crushed car looks good as new now! Price was good, especially since they were so good at finding deals on the parts I needed. Steven is awesome, thanks guys!

Friendly and professional customer service. My car was repaired very well. The price was not very expensive in comparison to another place I had went to. The repair was finished earlier than anticipated. If I ever have any car body repairs in the future I will definitely be considering this place again.

Worst customer service! I asked them to give me an estimate to repair my car and that I would pay for the repair in full because I didn't have coverage. They insisted on what insurance I had, and said no. Next time, listen to your customers please.

What a great shop. I did estimates at other places within the area, and this was the only place that would actually commit to a number without waffling around. No trouble installing my after-market parts either. Highly recommended.
