I recently brought my car to Double D Service Co. in Union, NJ at 2674 Morris Ave. and had a very pleasant experience. I brought my car in for service. The mechanic was very thorough. I brought my car to a dealership and they wanted to install a new transmission for $4500. When the mechanic at Double D looked at my car, I only needed a speed censor. They saved me a fortune! It cost me under $100. I was very satisfied with the work done on my car. I completely trust them 100%. I would definitely recommend Double D Service to my family and friends.

I highly recommend Bobbie and his team at Double D in Union, NJ. I recently needed a new motor for my Jeep --- a car I absolutely love and will not part with! I had brought it to the dealer, who gave me a very high price, so I wanted a second opinion. Bobbie was recommended by someone I trust, so I brought the Jeep to his service station. He did a thorough diagnosis of the problem, then let me know what had to be done and why. There was no pressure, just information to help me decide. I really appreciated that. I went for the engine replacement. Bobbie s price was significantly lower than the dealer, which I also appreciated. He kept me up-to-date on the work and delivered the completed job earlier than expected. When I went to pick up the Jeep, Bobbie and his staff showed me the old engine and walked me through what they had found. The cost was what we had discussed and agreed upon. They instructed me on how best to break in the new engine. I ve had the Jeep back for a week and it s running beautifully. I m so thankful that I found Bobbie and his team!

This is a highly experienced team lead by Bobby (Bobbie ?)Great communication, excellent customer service, great troubleshooting skills.Came here for a state inspection, they had problems trying to get their computer to talk to the car, and figured out what the problem was (in the car) and got it to work.I'll come back here again

I have been a customer of Double D Service for over twenty years. Everything about the experience is exceptional. The shop is highly organized and efficient. The technicians are well-trained, courteous and knowledgeable. The office staff is prompt and professional. The quality is outstanding and the pricing is reasonable. Simply a great place for you and your car.

Honest, hard-working men, always kind and courteous. I trust them completely with my cars and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. They put in good work and are always kind to customers. Great service and fair prices! Highly recommend stopping by if you're having car trouble. You're in good hands with them.

I have all of my cars serviced at Double D. They have always treated me fairly and completed the work in a cost effective, timely manner. I recommend Bob and the guys at Double D Service to everyone. Next time you need anything done to your auto, head on over to Double D Service.... best in the area.

This is my personal opinion based on my experience.I wanted to give this mechanic a chance since my primary mechanic was busy and was recomended by friend of my and also thought if he does a good job maybe have him as primary mechanic for my truck. Took my diesel truck tuesday morning and same day they knew wherebcoolant was coming from (i was happy) and was told approximate amount of hours it should take and i agreed on it (happy again). I could see that the mechanic had a good knowledge and experience with diesel engines and i really felt confident they can fix it. Passing by the shop multiple times a day with 3 stops at the stop to see progress and what i saw i was happy and satisfied. 2 days later i get a phone call that its done with price that almost made me faint. Little over 4k with 33h labor for little over 2 days. Didnt want to argue since it would get anywhere paid picked up my pickup truck and decided to write this review. Compared to other things i had fixed on my truck including engine change i can say it was way overcharged on hours. Truck got fixed and mechanic that worked on it knew what he was doing and i am happy with overall job but not the bill. Got couple estimates from different shops and went to local GM dealer for similar jobs which included changing multiple seals on different parts on the back of the engine nobody could come up with anything close to 33hoirs of labor and over 4k final bill. I am not happy but at least i know where not to go in the future. Final thought. It was done on time and happy with work and mechanic that worked on it. Bill maybe 2000-2500 would be ok and would come back and do more business since i know work on diesels are more expensive to work on but there is a limit.This review is my personal opinion based on my experience and not to discourage from this business if they are happy with it.

Recently took my car to Double D for service. I had received a quote from another mechanic for $175 to fix an exhaust problem. Double D fixed the car for just $100. I was thrilled to save the extra money. They also had my car done when they said they would. Oh and the owner called me the next day to ask how the car was running. That kind of service isn't found too often. I'll definitely trust them with my car's problems in the future.

Service was great! Came in to get some regular service done and to get some belts replaced and it turned out that the estimate was a little more than the actual bill, saving me some money. These guys don't mess around and they get the job done with no shortcuts. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Brought in my Cadillac CTS because it was running extremely rich and know it's computer related. Was told the guy would be able to diagnose the issue no problem and that he was very knowledgeable. Turns out the guy doesn't even know what an oil catch can is. Charged me $135 for telling me that I needed a catalytic converter, which I already knew, and because of a non-stock pcv hose that, turns out, wasn't even leaking. Just another parts changer mechanic.

Quick and friendly service. Fair prices. Always get a personal follow up call after service. Cant find that nowadays. Great at computer diagnosis.
