See this type of place you got to love and cherish. Because these are the old school type of mechanics who believe in good service and explain to you how things were done, go over your problems and go over the solved problems. I came here with two cars, and they did great jobs on them. I can't with a 2004 Honda Civic EX about 10 years ago, then recently, maybe within 3 weeks, I came with 2006 Honda Element and was giving great service I was recommended by my brother-in-law and I have not had a problem since I highly recommend these spots these are cherish businesses that we need to keep up with

Earlier this week I discovered that I had a flat tire while @ work. It was forecasted to have a major severe rain storm later of the day, it had already started to rain, I was panicking that I may be stranded. My coworker came across a local place D & M and when I called, Dominic was so helpful immediately over the phone. He sent his son DJ to come to my work, took my tire back to their shop, patched the leak and put the tire back onto my car. As easy as that! The entire process took less than an hour. And they charged me nothing! In this type of emergency situation, one could take advantage of you. But instead they showed kindness and true honesty. They're a down to earth, family owned business who cared about their reputation and maintaining their customers. It makes sense that they have amazing reviews! I'm so happy to have found a local trust worthy auto shop - They definitely earned my future business!

This is a family owned business and the owner is a rare business owner. Dominic was transparent with the fees and service. He has a wealth of knowledge about the business and the 1st time I met him, he sent me to another mechanic. He felt that the recommendation was the best for my vehicle. His honesty is unmatched. The second time I used his services and it was a pleasure to have met an honest man. You have to meet the man to understand how good of a person he is. I highly recommend this auto shop.

These are honest & hard-working people running a family-owned business. I met them about 1 year ago when my 2012 Jeep Wrangler was having an issue of trembling when stalled. Dom explained everything about what was causing the issue and how he planned to fix it. He also went out of his way to give me a fair price. He fixed my issue then and I've been bringing my car to him ever since.In sum, you can trust they'll do the job right and treat you like family. I'd recommend them to anyone.

My van broke down on high way. Google this shop because it has highest rating. The owner is very friendly, knows everything about your van, gives best rate and won t waste your time. Compared to the pepboys I went which told you appointment at 8 and service start at 10. This shop is a god place when you want to get something done on your car. Thanks Dom for this good service.

The owner Dom is on site most days. They are honest and their estimates are always accurate or they will call if they find anything that will effect the price. Have been coming here for years (since 2000 or so) always satisfied.

Best tire shop on the �rea. Highly recommend and they will definitely take car of your car needs without ripping you off like every other place does.

Newer to the area and was on the hunt for a new servicing spot. Doms about as honest as they come. First time customer but will come back to D&M for all my future needs. Good prices and explains everything. Thanks guys.

Had 4 new rims and tires that were dropped off to be mounted and balanced. One rim was damaged by them with tire machine. One tire was placed on rim backwards. Tire has marks that say inside but were placed facing outwards.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT take your vehicle to D&M!!! I had some work done to my car and will never be going back. They tell you that the car will be ready in a day and 2 days later you're still without a car. When I picked up the car the steering wheel was vibrating, once the car was put in reverse it vibrated even more. For the record my car was not vibrating at all when I dropped it off. When I called Dominick he said it's a motor mount and that he could take a look at the car, for me to bring it back to him. Not having had this issue prior to taking it to his shop I decided to take my vehicle to the dealer. At the dealer I was told the motor mounts were good, but what they did find was that the vehicle was missing a bolt from the steering column. The mechanic stated it look like it was recently removed, due to there being no signs of rust where the bolt was originally located. I asked if it was common for the bolt in question to be found loose or missing and he said "no you would feel a vibration in the steering wheel right away". Please have second thoughts of using this shop as I'm sure he's done this to a lot of people. They removed the bolt so that I would bring the car back in so he can charge me another fee. To make matters better I had to get the work they did to the exhaust pipes fixed as well.

Great service. I dropped my car off in the morning and as promised I received my car back by the afternoon. I was very happy with the service provided. Looking to do a few other things to my car and feel secure that it will be in the best hands. Dominick, the owner, is very honest and fair in pricing. Thank you D & M Automotive.

Dom and his team are truly the best of the best. My dad and I have brought our cars to him for years now and they're the only ones we trust. They do quality work and only use quality parts. I refer everybody I know to him and they never disappoint.

I have been in the automotive industry for now 10 years. From being behind the counter selling parts to working on cars. Dominick and his team are some of the most professional, knowledgeable and fair people I have met in my time doing what I do. From working with their customers to fit the budget they have to breaking down exactly what is wrong with your car. I recommend them to anyone who may need their vehicles fix and have been burned before from other shady people.

One of the best auto repair experiences I've had. I read the reviews from other end users before calling D&M and right from the phone call it seemed the high reviews were accurate. Dom was kind and took the time to hear of my car and financial situation and made room for me to stop in for a free inspection of the problem. Upon arriving, he and his staff welcomed me and immediately took a look at the problem. Dom took the time to explain in detail what was wrong and what options I had (including inexpensive fixes that could get me by for a while). He even called a couple parts dealers to get the best pricing. Once the job was done, he showed/explained the broken item, then showed/explained the new item on the car and how it all works. The mechanics were friendly, did quality work, and didn't leave a mess behind on the car. Dom seemed to have a genuine interest in caring for his customers and helping them out the best he can. My conversation with him revealed good values, morals, and ethics, business and personal. He's got my business going forward. 5 stars

Always a great job here. The owner, Dom, has amazing knowledge of automobiles which he uses to help diagnose problems with crazy good accuracy.All the mechanics are excellent and methodical in their work and your vehicle will be properly fixed.The pricing is more than fair AND unlike some shops the mechanics get paid by the hour, not on commission.

On tour the band van gas tank was about to fall off. I had no way of getting home unless it got fixed and I have a very small window to have any kind of solution. Dominic helped me out so much. Getting a solution together that would get me home and not cost me a dime. I can't stress how nice they were and how indebted I am to everyone there for helping me out in a time of need. Thank you a million times.

My vehicle was at another auto repair shop for 6 days so they can replace my brake lines. On the 6th day I haven t heard any updates from them, so I called them and to find out that they haven t even started or looked at my vehicle because they didn t have the proper tools to fix the issue. I spoke to their corporate office and they said they would get my vehicle towed to where I want it to be towed at no charge. I just wish they could ve told me they wouldn t be able to fix it on the first day. Whatever. I got recommended to D&M automotive repair and spoke to DJ. He knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle without even looking at it. Then Dom looked at the vehicle and walked me through what was needed. He and his son made it clear that it would take sometime to fix the issue I was having with my vehicle. DJ said it would take about a week to do the job, but they had it fixed 100% in 3 days. That s the way to do business. Never over promise and under deliver. Thank you Dom and your team. You have earned my business and I will recommend my family and friends to your location.

I've been a patron for a little over 5 years. I like that is family run and the owner, Dom makes sure to be fair with pricing. I never have any complaints with the work done on my cars. It's very busy, so sometimes there is a wait.

Very helpful and friendly.After a non-stop 1000 mile trip my car was having issues wobbling when it got over 55 mph. I was recommended by a friend to go here. I was immediately greeted and asked what my car's issue was. It was raised up and they took a look at it. After a while of looking at it, they weren't able to find an issue with it. So Dominick took it out for a drive with me. Of course my car didn't want to act up while he was watching. We drove back to the shop and he told me to stop by when it starts acting up again. He didn't want to guess what was wrong with my car and have me waste money on parts I might not need. The day was free of charge. I'll be coming back when my car needs to be fixed up. :)

Made contact with the owner via Facebook because I was looking for someone to service my car. He was kind, responsive and very knowledgeable. I brought my car in and he gave me a free assessment. Although i had to take my car to the transmission shop that initially did my rebuild, the owner assured me that he would help me in any way he could. Not only an amazing shop, but honest employees as well. I have plans to go back for my non-transmission related concerns very soon.

Needed an exhaust fix and almost went to this other place, but Dominic was kind enough to squeeze me in so he can take a look and I'm very glad that I went to him. The quote he gave me was less than half of what the other guy would've charged. I went back the next day to have it fixed, but due to unforeseen circumstances (which is mainly my fault), I had to stay for a little while. I'm not the most patient guy and my kids can tell you that, but something about hanging out at Dominic's that hours seemed like minutes. It's like the opposite of waiting at the DMV. i know it was my first time there but it has that "Cheers" feeling.. even though I'm the new guy.. I felt so welcome.. not just by Dominic and his crew, but even with the customers. This is definitely now my go-to place for whatever needs fixing with my car. I wish I could give 10 stars but google only allows 5. Keep up the good work Dominic and always a pleasure.

Its is almost impossible to find more honest and good mechanic like Dom. I know them since 2003 and first started going with small repairs and later i found out that he can be trusted, will go out of his way to help you and not rip you off and for last couple years he is our primary mechanic for our cars and we have 6 cars. Now he takes care of all the repairs from small to big ones and i know that when i get my car back it will run good and be fixed the way it should because Dom stands behind his work. Highly recommend this shop to anybody.

I tried out D&M Automotive yesterday based on reviews I had seen online. I needed to have the tire pressure checked on my 23 foot Class C RV as I suspected a slow leak in one of the tires. I didn t have an appointment but Dominic, the owner, set one of his sons to work on it right away. It turned out that there were 3 screws or nails, 2 in one tire, and one in another. Dominic explained in great detail how these leaks would be patched so that I wouldn t have to worry that they would fail on a 3,000 mile trip I had planned. The whole process took about two hours but he only charged me for one hour labor and materials. I will definitely use D&M Automotive again.

I love Dom, Maria and the mechanics. I live in Savannah GA, came to NJ to visit. Before I returned to GA I stopped at D&M. They did excellent work as well as educate. I'll drive 700 miles just to have them work on my car. The Best!!!

Dominic and his boys are the best and honest mechanics in NJ hands down. Never been to a better place. They gained a lifelong customer that will travel all the way from Brooklyn, NY to them to fix the car! You guys are awesome!
