Brightly lit and definitely much more welcoming than the advance Auto parts down the street. That being said, the lack of cashiers up front was slowing down the operation. Four of us stood there waiting on one lady who was having difficulty finding a part.

Needed a battery installation plus the new battery and called around to no one willing to install battery but once I reached autozone in Union Stephen was more then happy to support and the process was fast and easy! STEPHEN did an amazing job!!

From the first phone call, the gentleman I spoke to was extremely kind and professional. Once I got there, he thoroughly checked my alternator and battery. He was helpful and patient even though I did not understand car-related concepts. He helped me find what I needed around the store and gave me all the time I needed, and he always held the door open for me. It is rare to find true professionals like the polite staff member I met here. It was really great experience overall.

1 am very unsatisfied with this location. I came to check my battery and check engine and no one can assist me due to no equipment to check it. How is this possible ? I just saw a commercial this weekend saying come in and check battery for free. Very disappointed.

I had a great visit. It was easy, simple and straight to the point. I needed a new battery. Mine was completely dead. They told me everything I needed to know they came out and actually tested the battery just to make sure it was completely dead, and to make sure there wasn t anything that was unplugged or out of order from there they gave me a list of prices that would best fit my budget and they were really nice about the whole process. I enjoyed going here and would come again.

I bought windshield wipers from the AutoZone on Route 22 in Union NJ and asked them to install it for me because the website said they would help. They told me that they couldn't help me and to come back at 7:30am the next morning to get it put on. It was only 7pm. I think they had other reasons for not helping me...

Great, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff.I Went in to pick up a battery for my jeep my intention where to buy the Duralast but after speaking with the knowledgeable rep and confirming what he stated via web I walked out with right battery, Optima, for my custom Jeep Wrangler. Thanks Guys!!!

My brake light was broken. So I went to Autozone and met the parts expert Peabo. He was professional and kind. He helped me picking up the new brake light and changed for me! He also warned me about the other brake light. And then he checked the other brake light. It was pretty dark and looks like it will die soon. So I asked him to help changing the other brake light! He gladly did so. The best customer service I had! highly recommend!

Depending on the mood of the employees will determine your level of service. Some days are fantastic some days are awful.I had to return a battery that I purchased a few months ago because it was dead. The eternal went smoothly. I asked them to install the battery. They refused. The refusal was after the guy asked me to move my car, 4 spaces over into handicapped parking. He opened the hood and said h couldn't leave the cashier in the store alone and I could wait 30 min for the next employee to arrive. Well, the cashier is the one who asked him to check the battery...didn't she know she couldn't be left in the store alone. Lol. Anyway, like I said, it depends on their mood.

Visited this location on 5/14/23 to purchase a AC Delco battery, I was replacing out of my vehicle and was informed by the young man at the counter, he could not sell me that particular battery unless I held some type of retailer card, in which I do not possess. My question was to him was, "Is that a policy of this particular store or a policy of all Autozones?". The young man response was "I don't know", his expression was in disgust that even had the nerve to question him. I then asked him, what other batteries did the store have that was compatible to what I'm replacing, again, he responded with disgust and in a low tone of voice where I could not hear what he was saying clearly. When I asked him to repeat, he clearly demonstrated with his facial expression and aggravated response that he did not want to work and respond to a customer's question involving a product I was looking to purchase. I had asked him of the battery was a side post and he didn't even know what I was talking about and had to be educated by another counter person as to what I was asking. Once I selected the battery I wanted, I understood why he possessed such a poor attitude, the black pair of jeans he was wearing, were sagging below his waist as if he were hanging out in the neighborhood. When he returns with the battery and begins to ring it up, I'm prompted to provide a telephone, but because I was already disgusted with the poor quality of customer care, I declined to provide it and was instructed by this young man that if I do not provide a number, my 30 month warranty would be voided. As I started to question that response, the young man was corrected by a stock person, who overheard the conversation at the counter. I started to request an on duty manager, but as I was completing the transaction, I observed the manager who appeared disheveled himself and wearing his hair in a pony tail, so what was the point! This particular store promote a policy that require their employees to wear some type of professional business attire which properly fits along with proper grooming requirements, instead of a policy in which a certain battery can not be purchased by a ordinary buying customer! The implementation of a clothing and grooming policy just might correct poor attitude(s) that were on display! The only reason I gave two stars, was because of the stock gentleman (Thank you sir), who appeared to have more knowledge and a sense of excellent customer service and he should commended for it! If I ever returned to this particular store in the future, I would hope the stock person is behind the counter!

Went to get a battery for my car today st the Auto Zone location in Union on Rt22, and I was greeted by Jake K. He was very attentive and informative and resourceful. He suggested sales that worked better for our benefit. Customer service couldn t haven t been better. Highly recommend

I came to get my oil filter and met Paebo. He asked me when last i changed cabin air filter. I told him my mechanic serviced the car that he must have taken care of that. He insisted that i check it. To my greatest surprise he brought it out and it was a mess (too dirty) i had no choice than to change it immediately. Paebo is a nice guy dedicated to his job for great customer satisfaction.

This place is the best. Jake K is great! He found my two air filters quickly and helped me install them. And, in 10 minutes I saved $60 from what the oil change place wanted to charge me for them.

I took my daughter's car because the check engine light was on. Peabo was so helpful and went above and beyond to assist with issues and small purchases to help rectify the problems. He was so knowledgeable and patient and saved us a lot of money by buying the parts directly from Autozone and advising of our next steps. We need more customer service such as his.

I just left and I had a smile on my face. Customer service was top notch and I appreciate it. I only needed a funnel to add oil to my engine and Jake was so patient with me. He even ran out to the car to double check to make sure I was purchasing the correct item, also he ran back out after I left to give me another tip to make sure I did it correctly. Thank you Jake :) It also doesn t nt hurt that he was easy on the eyes. Anyway, this location was A+.
