Degenerate scam artists. Replaced my brakes, rotors, and rear calipers but did not install the calipers properly. They ended up breaking and leaking break fluid everywhere.Fortunately, I didn't go here a second time and went to a real mechanic to get it fixed who explained to me the calipers WERE NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY. The only thing Tommy's is good for is serving as a gas station, and even then they are slow.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Claimed to have in Feb replaced fuel pump module for $1,350 on an 06 Colorado that has no fuel pressure hence won't start. Separate diagnosis completed, no pressure and truck towed back at Tommie V's suggestion. 2 weeks later and he won't make good on the original repair that he also demanded cash as payment. Told the elders wife to tow the truck home.Truck owners are a couple in their 90s and must have looked like an easy mark to this guy. Friendly people, outstanding work & reasonable priced! I have had many car repairs done usually returned same day...Amazing! If you come in with a flat repair..they will stop what they are doing an patch quick..who does that anymore? -- They do! Need propane for your gas grill, Tommie Vee's has that too, and their fill up lasts longer than a tank exchange at Lowes or Home Depot. Please put Tommie Vee's on your list of repair needs, let's keep these guys in business! Avoid this repair shop at all costs. Owner with the fat belly is arrogant and has no clue what he is doing other than an expert at eating. The people at Tommy Vee s are really sweet people who will give you the service that you deserve and treat you with respect, even if you don t know much about cars. They work quickly and are very reasonably priced. I was referred here by a friend and I would definitely suggest that my friends and family go here as well.

I called Tommie Vees at 10 am and they took me right in. I had an exhaust issue and they gave me options with what I could do with my car. They shopped around for the best price on parts. My 2017 Corolla with under 30,000 miles on it had damaged wires from rodents chewing on the soy based wire coverings. Gateway Toyota wanted to replace the whole wire harness assembly for over $4500. Tommy Vee's did the job and replaced the battery for $400. The dealership claimed replacing only the chewed wires was a modification, not a repair even though Allstate had approval from toyota that it was an acceptable repair. Just goes to show you how much money an honest shop can save you. Tommy Vees is great! I will take my car there first from now on!Service: Electrical repair

The guys here are very friendly. They gave me a great price and had my car done sooner then i expected. I will definitely use them again especially after i received a phone call this morning (i guess i called right before picking up my car) and they called to make sure everything is good and im happy with the services. RIP OFF ALERT AT GAS PUMP! Guy pumping gas, says screen was dented charging us an extra four dollars in gas(pocketing the extra cash). I m sure he s been doing this to many cars for God knows how long!! Beware!!!! Called cops! Got our $4 back! They fudged a receipt that says gas was purchased at 3.30 pm and it s not even 12 noon !! SCAMMERS

I called and was able to bring my car right in at 10 am on a Friday for a headlight change. Collin came right out and took care of me; I didn t even have to get out of my car. Collin and Tommy were friendly and professional.Tip: bring cash for smaller jobsService: General repairs & maintenance

Super nice guys, privately owned full service station. Support our neighbors! Also the gas prices are always better than the rest. Win for everyone.The $1 or 2 you save can be a tip for the guys at the pump.

Coming from a family that fixes cars on the norm, this is the only place I take my vehicles to knowing I'll get the same honest treatment as my own family. Tommie vee's is the most down to earth and reasonable machanics in ocean county and I would recommend them to anyone who needs any type of auto repair or tuneups.

Old school, fair prices, and straight forward. I'll definitely use them again. Refreshing with all the over priced corporate auto places around them. They also have the cheapest gas prices on rt. 37.

Tommy V is the best that guy went up and Beyond is trade my mother's car broke down and he kept it there for two months without a hassle because the dealership is supposed to go fix it and never gave me a problem and stay with me the whole time with it and then repairs and prices are on the button I would have agreed to send anybody or my friends to Tommy and he's a real true gentleman and their staff is great and wonderful
