I highly recommend this shop! Michael is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He goes out of his way to accommodate my requests. The mechanics take their time to discuss any issues they find. Their pricing is up front and fair . I brought my new (used but new to me) car in for an oil change and asked if the car was in good condition for a long road trip. They went above and beyond to check everything out . Mike even joked that I will enjoy the trip not worrying about a broken gas gauge as he remembered that was an issue with my old car! It's that kind of service and attention to detail that makes this shop so special.Call today to schedule an appointment, you'll thank me for it!!!

My husband and I are visiting from California. Our car needed an oil change and the brakes checked Michael was able to get us in the same day. He was very professional and polite. Vinny, who did our oil change, was very helpful and extremely thorough. He listened to our concerns about our brakes, took our car for a test drive, looked at our brakes and reassured us that everything was fine. We left feeling relieved and thankful. We truly appreciate Michael and Vinny! Excellent customer service beyond 5 stars!!!!

I didn't have great expectations at first, because I am generally averse to these national chains. But THIS shop, I have to give the HIGHEST possible marks to. I'm not mechanically inclined, yet Mike Giliberti and his mechanic on duty (11/9/2023) did such an impeccable job, from friendly, prompt service, to explaining everything they found during the multi-point "courtesy check" inspection (included with the oil change and brake work), to doing the job well (and fast), to working with me for the lowest price possible -- they went above and beyond, even giving me unsolicited suggestions and observations that really helped me out. I've never been happier with an auto repair job -- not that I enjoyed spending that much money, but these guys made me feel confident, and that's something you can't easily put a pricetag on.

Stopped in to see if they sold wind shield wiper fluid. They couldn t have been more helpful and offered to fill my car s windshield wiper fluid free of charge. Friendly guys and excellent service.

Made an appointment on the phone, was able to drop off my car the. Ight prior. Had a call early the next morning with all different prices and options to fix and customize what I whated to. Fast and great work from these guys. Thanks.

I called Midas after getting a laundry list of issues to fix from a dealership's service team. I spoke with AJ (multiple times -- I must have called at least 6 times with questions), who was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He explained in terms I could understand what the issues meant, and what it would entail to fix them if I were to bring the car in. When I finally did bring the car in, AJ and the mechanic actually invited me to look at the underside of my car to show me everything the dealership had proposed they do. They then gave me straight advice about what work was actually necessary. The team is clearly made up of car nerds (which I mean as a compliment!) and I will absolutely be bringing my car back to them for honest service from now on.

So not trust this place I called a asked the price of oil change they said $34.99 with $10 off. There is even a sign with oil change price. I get there on Thurs 9/7 and the guy behind the desk says my 2019 Honda takes full synthetic the price $99 with $20 off $79 plus tax and disposal oil. He stated this is the only oil change available. Would love to speak to the owner to go into detail of how this employee acted. False information before you get there. I walked out and he calls me back and says a lower price. He said I misunderstood and tried to say a lower price. I repeated the price 3 times and the $79 with extra fees. No cheaper oil change I can get there. Would not recommend this place. I checked the price at Midas bayville $49.00 with $20 off.

Came in for a wheel alignment I thought I needed, first ever shop I ve been to that s been honest- bc I ended up not needing the alignment ( they even give you a print out ) and they were able to point me in the right direction of what was actually wrong . I've been to a few different auto repair places on 37 and I had the best experience here. Mike was incredibly helpful and friendly and didn't make me feel like an idiot, which is no easy task. Plus, the repairs were quick and affordable. Called up asking to drop my truck off for an oil change. Took me in on short notice, got it done in like 2 hours. Including a free tire rotation and applied a $20 coupon without me asking for it. Thank you so much for a great service

Knowledgeable service technicians go out of their way to help and explain what they do and what is wrong before starting work and you can inspect prior to it too. If they cannot fix something because they don't have the equipment such as transmission work they have highly recommended suggestions in the vicinity. Friendly and warm people.

I'm new to the area and needed my car serviced. It was so easy to make an appointment. I arrived with my car, and Michael took his time asking me what I wanted them to do, and if I had any other concerns. Prior to doing any work in addition to the oil change, which I had asked him to evaluate a couple of concerns, he called and we talked about what additional work was reccomended, why and what the cost would be. There were surprises. They didn't try to up-sell or try to convince me of work the car didn't need. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The best type of auto repair shop is one you can trust. After reading lots of reviews from shops in the area I chose Midas. My choice was rewarded! They gave me an honest overview of the car (2008 so needs a lot.) But, they were also quick to point to the items that would be consider safety concerns vs items that while not in perfect shape might last a bit longer and are not a safety issue. Once I picked what I wanted done, they were quick to make it happen. They also did me the favor of fixing a small item that I had not decided to repair, but did so and did not charge me! The car is running better than it has in a long time. And having addressed all the safety related issues I feel better driving it. I am new to the area and a trustworthy mechanic is always a tough find. So glad I found mine.Service: Brakes
