Lester Glenn serviced my moms car for 6+ years. When I went to sell; they warrantied $500+ in repairs (mirror motor, window switch, etc) and when I asked for service records- they gave me complete service records in 24 hours by email. Bravo Lester Glenn- you deserve the 40+ years success you ve had in Toms River!

I had a great overall experience at Lester Glenn! I was immediately greated and assisted by Jason D. He was knowledgeable, kind and had patience never rushed me. I could not make up my mind between two vehicles. I was ready to leave and Jason said why don't you take this home it may help you make your decision. Well needless to say I made my decision because I was able to take my time and get a better understanding of the bells and whistles. After making my decision Jason came out and explained all the features and benefits of the car. I also had a great experience with Sal JR. (Finance) He was also extremely knowledgeable patient answered all my questions. I left a message for him the next day and he called me back immediately you don't get that everywhere! I would highly recommend Lester Glenn Hyundai it's hard to find a great level of service these days.

I just got back from my 16,000 mile service from Lester Glenn Service Center. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and asked them to take a look. The service kid told me there was a nail in the wall of the tire and it was unreliable. They recommended replacing the tire, for $240. I declined and I took it to my local garage. They put it on the lift and showed me the nail, which was in the center of the tread. They plugged it for me for $25, with a $10 tip for the mechanic, and I was on my way. After waiting weeks for a Saturday appointment for an oil change I was blatantly lied to for the purpose of trying to make a sale on my covered service. I don t recommend anyone ever using their service department, and if you do, be weary of any suggested repairs.Service: Oil change

On Thursday morning 11/30 I got a flat (cut tire) on my Hyundai ioniq 6 which comes with no spare tire but a can of glue spray. I was towed to Lester Glenn Hyundai Tom's River since the Hyundai Road side assistance that comes with car on app only allows you to select a Hyundai dealership. On Tuesday afternoon 12/5 my car was ready. Invoice details as follows: Tire $349.00, mount and balance the one tire $39.95, tire weight $2.50 Tire Tax $1.50, Hazzardous waste disposal $2.00, Documentation retention $2.99 (per service man this is the cost for them to document so other dealers can see what they did to my car) shop supplies $4.00 (seriously?) tax $26.33. Total cost $428.27.

Took more than a month to get an appt and my 2021 with less than 15000 miles on it needs a new engine.They really dont seem to care. Left a voice-mail for my service tech, no reply. Sent 3 people emails about my car issues, no reply. Got a text invite to fill out a survey, replied and not texted back.Just found out that my reviews and surveys are being reflected back on the service tech Brian. My reviews have NOTHING to do with him in any way.

Called to schedule a service appointment. Left a message and never received a return call. Guess I'll go somewhere where they value their customers and practice good customer service.So now I'm editing my review because things just got worse . After posting the original review I received a phone call from the service department. Surprise surprise. She made me an appointment for the following day and indicated that I would be able to get a ride back home and then back to the dealership to pick up my car in time to go to work. When I got to the dealership the next day they had no record of my appointment. They did take me in. However they told me I would have to be sitting there most of the day and that the shuttle back to my home would not begin until 2:30. When I clearly told the girl on the phone the day before I had to be home by 1:00 p.m. to go to work. So I made an appointment to come back the following week. I called to cancel the appointment because I really was fed up and the woman on the phone told me I didn't even have an appointment. So I don't know what's going on with their service department. They must be using a call center or something because the service is terrible.

My appt was for 8:40 am, we could not get in until 9:20am. Finally done at close to 11 am. Went in for an oil change. Customer service people were very nice.

Bought the car from them and a year later there's electrical issues with the headlight. Can't book for a month to fix it so I guess they're ok with me being illegal on the road. If the electric was checked before purchasing they wouldn't have to fix it but they're taking no responsibility. Electrical issues like this do not happen within a year. So not only do they not get return business for service but they lost a customer as I will not be buying from them again.

Always very happy with the work that gets done here. I bought my car new here in 2015. I m the original owner. The service department always does really good work, always friendly, and timely. Just had a new motor put in the car in September (2nd replacement, 3rd motor) and even at that time it was always if you agreed to do the work, they would waive the diagnostic fees. Today that was not the case and when I asked if that changed recently, the response given was just that they spent their full time diagnosing. Again, not displeased with the work that gets done, they are very skilled. Wish I had known you no longer roll in the diagnostic fee if you end up doing the work, especially when you ve already spent copious amounts of money

Diagnosis was done and timely, but I don't understand the extra charges on the bill. Due to the relocation things seem a little less than theWay it should be. Confusion over pick up ride to there location after several texts and calls. I realize I am not the only customer they are dealing with, but a lack of staff is not my problem, your company sets the standards. If you can't live up to those standards, then don't have people expect them!

Lester Glenn Service Center of Toms River kept my car for 2 weeks and barely called with updates. Often I had to call in or I got a text message right before they closed. I felt like I was being taken advantage of, being younger and female. They had me pay $600 then told me afterwards that my car was still unable to be driven. I would absolutely never buy a Hyundai ever again. The service was awful.Additional edit in regards to Hyundai's reply : Brandon called once and left a message telling me there were still no updates from Corporate Hyundai AFTER I already paid $600 and brought my car home. If what you're doing here was ethical, EVERY mechanic across the country would call a customer, tell them their car requires $600 of work to be fixed then call 2 days later and say, "just kidding. It's worse than we thought, it's going to cost ALOT more. But you still owe us $600." The reply on here is laughable. The service is laughable. But sure. I'll give Brandon a call back and let him know.

This is a difficult place to review with a blanket star rating. I have owned my Hyundai since new and this is the 3rd Hyundai dealer I have trusted my car to. All 3 are similar and yet, different. The people here are awesome. 5 plus stars all around. The techs have done a good job in the 2 times I have been here. They are not heavy on "upselling" trying to push work not necessary at the time. The issue(s) I have that keep it from 5 stars are twofold. Ther is the difficulty of getting a loaner. No matter who I speak with, there are different parameters as to who just might qualify for one. A shuttle service within8 miles is claimed to be available, but again, it's tough to find out how to make this happen. My bigger issue, though, is then when my car was returned it had a non working headlight and a dead key battery. The invoice states that a 100 point inspecton was made of the vehicle including lights. Guess someone can't count to 100. This required me to make another appointment 10 days later. The people can be the nicest in the world, but I'm paying dealer pricing and going through inconviences to have knowledgeable professionals do the work. The least I would expect in return it that the work is done properly and completely the first time. So, staff 5+ stars, actual service 3.5.

Took my wife's car in for service for the third time since we bought the car everyone is very polite and helpful. This is the second car we've bought here, we are VERY happy with this establishment and can't wait to buy our next car here. We would definitely recommend this car dealership to anyone looking for a new or certified car!

Joe helped me today! Super nice- heard me when I said my father checks on my car time to time to make sure it s in good shape. Didn t try to convince me to do anything extra with them!Walked me to my car and took out all the plastic!

My worst experience with the car salesman to the time I picked up my car after paying for it there was no cover for the fuse box the gas tank was on half a tank and there was no inspection sticker and it s been downhill since Brought my car thereThey didn t have the correct phone number correct email and the gentleman that said he couldn t change it only to find out he no Longer works there when I had a scheduled appointment for a recall they didn t have me on schedule because that gentleman doesn t work there but they did it anyway i m selling it and going to another Hyundai dealer oh and the warranty just try and use it ! Jokes on me

If I could give Lester Glen mechanics and service department a minus 50 stars I would. After a year of bringing the car back for the same issues we brought it to Freehold Hyundai and the car has been finally fixed.
