The Professional and caring attitude goes a long way. It fits in with this auto store. Sunday hours also is very helpful. Thank you to all that work at this Firestone store. We left going to our local (M) tire store a mile away to go to this Firestone store 9 miles away from Whiting to Toms River. No comparison in companies.

I'm satisfied with the tires I selected. The service is not as satisfying. My dissatisfaction was with the 120 bucks I seem to have wasted on a wheel alignment. There was no correction and no explanation as to why. How can you charge for alignment and send it out with "one or more values are not within specifications"?Update: after speaking with Bill about this issue, it was resolved to my satisfaction. I give extra points for how a situation is resolved and Bill was very professional about it. I will return in the future for my automotive needs. Thank you for your professionalism.

Bill Jackson the store manager has treated me like family for years. He is a great asset to the company and a wonderful person to do business with. His employees are focused on customer service and doing a great job. I am glad I have someone I can trust our autocare to.

Open early. Friendly staff. Had a tire blowout late at night and needed a replacement. They had me out in 15 mins. Shop was super clean.

I ordered two tires and both were installed this evening. First, I was very pleased with the price I was quoted over the phone and the customer service Solia gave me when I was there. When I left, I noticed on my work order paper, they filled (it was empty) my fluid washer and fixed the plastic part on my bumper for FREE. Thank you!

I had to have my tire patched and the service I received was top notch. The guy at the front desk is so wonderful to deal with. The mechanic was even kind enough to bring me out to my car to go over some brake issues I didn't even know I had. I really appreciate how respectful and professional he was with me. Horrible, slow, and no estimateSame process In NC that took 45 minutes took 3 1/2 hours here. Just a simple alignment, oil change, and replacing two back tires.This is ridiculous, saw employees on phones talking and texting.. Some employees taking a stroll now and then. Young employees obviously need to be let go.Never coming to this Firestone again.. Going to try at the one on Route 70 Calling corporate for asking a rebate. Again don't go here.

Installed a new Die Hard Gold battery in my TBird. Best price I could find and they had the battery in stock. Not always easy to find an exact match for my particular vehicle. Waiting time was a little longer than I had liked but only a minor gripe for an otherwise good experience.

Brought our SUV in for an oil change and they recommended a fuel system cleaning. 50 miles later the engine blows a literal hole in its side. Their inspector looked and said their work was perfect, and refused to help at all. I contacted Wynn products, the maker of the fuel cleaning product, who explained step by step how if this cleaner is added incorrectly the result could be exactly what happened to our engine. Horrible customer service, especially the claims agent who instead of helping was nasty.Services: Transmission, Oil change

I had a ten o clock appointment for an oil change. It s now 12.25 and my SUV is parked at the front of the building and someone who has a 12 o clock appointment already has their car in the shop. The front desk is soliciting sales for the company but there are no mechanics available to work on my vehicle. Yet they are hot on appointments. This is my second visit- first and last. I needed tires and alignment. I m not from the area but was recommended. When I paid my bill they mentioned everything else I needed. Took the paperwork to my mechanic . They said I needed a Cyril arm w/ball joint each side. Left was just replaced by MY mechanic . Rt side is fine and cabin filter was not dirty as they showed me. So Firestone is ripping woman off and trying to make money on us. Very disappointed! Don t use Firestone in Toms River!!!Service: Wheel alignment

Have a corvette? Have chrome rims? Have low profile tires?Don't waste your time here. They can't do it. They said they have a tire machine that scratches the wheels so if you have nice wheels they will ruin them. They also can't do sports cars because they don't have a low profile jack. What kind of tire shop are they exactly? It's disgusting how poorly equipped these children that work here are.Service: Tires

Fabulous service! Had some bad work done at a different Firestone that almost caused my tire to fall off when driving. Drove right off the highway to this Firestone location. They patiently listened to my concerns and made sure they took a look at my car right away despite their full schedule. I was so lucky to have such a great team looking out for me. Very professional service. Explained everything they did in great detail.

Great place, good service John (manager) is awesome. Good rebates as well, just got breaks and new tires from them 2 days ago. They even were able to bring me home as I was able to leave the car all day, but had no ride back home, seriously great customer service as I know other garages that no longer do that. Never an issue great parts great mechanics, great service, great people!

It is a rare thing to find such normal and down to earth people, especially in New Jersey. The employees were extremely nice, and during my visit I even saw them care for a customer that was pretty much yelling in their face and treat her with respect, something even myself probably couldn't do. They'll undoubtedly have my business as long as I'm in New Jersey, and I appreciate the kindness that they showed everyone who came in that night.

Beware of this Firestone and the sales guy at the front desk John. I have a lifetime alignment with Firestone. I work in the area and it s convenient to have my car serviced during lunch at the Toms River location. I usually use Firestone in West Long Branch. I have to say I have never had a issue with this location. I took it in to have the service done and waited a hour in a half before I got up and asked how much longer would my car be. John told me they had a issue with the car and they could not do the alignment. This is after waiting a hour and half. He told me the car needed front Tie Rods and quoted me 650 dollars. I have a good mechanic that use close to my home TLC in long Branch so I told him I would take it to them to have it fixed. During my wait I over heard one of the other sales guys say to John a lady called trying to find out if you ordered her part. John told him I have not had time just tell her it s on back ordered. Very dishonest. I took the car to the mechanic and they told me that I did not need Tie Rods. Please beware of service you are receiving at this location and working with John at the front desk. Do not trust them, I can t imagine how many people they have ripoff.

We have been using Firestone for years with several of our cars and have always been very happy with them, however this was our first time at this location and were not happy at all. Brought our old honda element in and was told it needed a new alternator which we got and paid over 500.00. The very next day we had to take it back and was then told we needed a new transmission. I spoke to the manager to see if we could get any type of credit for the 500.00 we just spent and he said there was nothing he could do but he would check with his boss and get back to us which has not happened. Guess we will be taking all of our business elsewhere.

I've been going to this Firestone for the last year or so and had nothing but good experiences. They did great work with my car, fixing it as quickly as possible, even putting in coupons for me when paying for it. Today, however, was not good. I took my car in to get a simple oil change. I also asked if they had time to see why my service engine light keeps going on and off. After about 4 hours I get a call not really giving me a straight answer. They said they were going to replace my gas cap and ran a couple diagnostics and couldn't find an exact problem, but it would be ready in a couple minutes. I gave them another 20 minutes before I went back to get it. Three employees were outside smoking while one of the mechanics was sitting next to my car, which was still on the lift, playing on his phone. The employee inside said that he'll tell them to finish up with the oil change. Another 15 or so minutes and the car was finally done. When I heard the total ($197 and change), I lost my breath a little. I didn't say anything, just thinking maybe all the test and stuff cost more than I thought they would. When I got home and looked at my invoice and saw that my oil change was $99.99!! I couldn't believe it! how could my oil change be $100 when last time I brought it in it was only $20-25. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my car to this or any other Firestone again!!

My daughters car was having difficulty starting. She was in desperate need for her car to be repaired. She called many places to try and get an appt to look at her issue. The closest was 4 days. Called Firestone in Toms River, NJ and Bill Jackson was able to at least take a look. He and his team were able to repair her car the same day. Thank you Bill.I was a long time customer of Firestone of Toms River until there was a staff change. Stopped going. However, once Bill Jackson took over as store manager, things changed for the better. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Walked in on a great sale today! The manager there quoted me a price on a set of 4 Firestone tires. Then knocked off $100 for the sale; another $50 off since he didnt have the initial ones I wanted, then another $40 for signing up for their credit acct, which I was able to charge the job done on. Plus, if I pay the bill off within 6 months, it's all interest free.

I drove over a pothole and got a flat around 6 p.m.. I called in Firestone and luckily they had the tire. Kevin let me know he is there till 7 but was going to tay1y later if needed. As soon as we got there he greeted the tow truck with a friendly smile . As soon as the car was on the lift he assured me he would be able to fix it in a timely manner and then walked me through the steps of what he was going to do.Long story short, Kevin is awesome at what he does and was willing to work overtime just to get my car on the road. Thank you Kevin, you were super helpful and I appreciate your time and patience.Firestone is the place to go if you're in a rut and need something done immediately and done the right way. Again, Kevin, I can't thank you enough!:-)

Had a flat tire while driving through Toms River on a Sunday morning. I made the emergency stop at Firestone - Toms River, in the hopes that they could replace my tires .and I could continue on my way. I was told that they only have 2 techs today , and sorry but they couldn t do it. This is understandable, but that being said .I ve never had an experience where I went to an auto service center early in the workday and was immediately turned away. So what did I do? Well .I couldn t drive away on a flat tire. So I had my car towed to another auto service center. The tow truck driver was dumbfounded .he couldn t believe that he was towing my truck from Firestone (which again .was open for business and it was early in the workday) and towing my car to another auto shop?!?!? I told him .yeah, I don t understand it either. Needless to say .I won t be seeking the assistance of Firestone for any future car repairs.

First time that I had went here to Firestone but hands down no complaints here from me. Although I only went there for a brand new tire for my truck I was very satisfied with the service I received and not to mention they were very professional honest and time efficient. If you end up choosing to go to Firestone in Tom's river on rt 37 ask for Bill.

This place used to be very reliable and trustworthy. Lately, been very disappointed in my last 2 visits. There are a couple of great guys still on the service desk, one of which I believe is the Manager Pat. Good guys to deal with. The rep I dealt with my last 2 visits, maybe needs more training or needs to get another job of his interest because he clearly dow not seem to show any kind of interest towards his job or the customer. I would say go ahead and try them out still, giving them the benefit of the doubt from my previous visits. Hopefully you get a better experience than the my last 2. But I have decided to go look for a new shop for now. Hoping to hear good review for them in the future.
