We can never understand people s behavior until we stand in their shoes.But even so, some actions are hard to comprehend.Long story shortI was having an issue with my car on a Thursday night. The car went dead.Got it to turn back on again, clutch start, and then jump-startFriday morning I called MikeSunday night I drove my car to his shop parking lot.MondayHe got back to me over the phone with a diagnosis and repair cost.I said I would get a second opinion and would let him know my decision.Mike didn't like that.I asked if I could drive my car or needed to be towed back home.( I'm only 10 minutes away)He said it was ok to drive.pick up my car, car wasn t ready.I paid the diagnosis fee ($100. This was with a discount as per Mike) and waited about 30 minutes.After leaving the shop, my car died in the middle of the road 3 blocks from the shop.I called Mike for help.He denied helping because I declined his services.Luckily for me, God is always on His watch, and a good samaritan showed up. Helped me move my car out of the traffic s way, and called his mechanic.The mechanic was very helpful and gave me a diagnosis at no cost.I decided to trust them.And they both helped me with my car at no charge.My car has been working just fine ever since.If you have an issue with your car and go to this shop, go with someone who knows about cars.Ps.I brought my car here for maintenance twice and weekly to fill up gas. Never did he ever mentioned the battery s Life was coming to an end during maintenance routine.

If I could give Mike and the team a higher rating than 5, I would! Incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, the team here are the only ones I consider going to for my auto needs. Above all, this is a business with clear integrity and I can't recommend this shop enough.Businesses like Clinton Auto Services deserve to be elevated, and if you're having car issues look no further than here.

I've been taking my car here for routine maintenance for a couple of years now. I've never had any problems. They are reasonably priced and get the work done quickly.

Nice and all in the beginning. They charged me to correct/conduct a diagnostic on my vehicles check engine light; they did it, replaced a gas cap.After a few days light came back on, went again to check it out they said new errors coincidentally occurred; sent it to another mechanics and I found a loose hose that wasn t disconnected before. Didn t feel right/feel slightly scammed.

This place is great! I was having trouble with the tire pressure/pump and Aref was extremely helpful and took the time to make sure it got done safely. He refused a tip and just told me he was doing his job. Going the extra mile should be recognized! Thank you, Aref!

I called ahead about bringing in a used car for inspection, Mike was super accommodating and said it'd be no problem. I brought the car over during the test drive and he was able to inspect it and diagnose problems in about 20 min. Mike took the time to really help me to understand the work that was needed on the car and helped me to decide whether to buy it or not.Quick and accurate assessment, fair pricing for parts and labor. Mike also helped emphasize how much work was needed to the dealer (who was on the test drive with me) as a bargaining chip to try and get the price down. Thanks, Mike!

My company uses Clinton Auto Service to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles. Mike is honest and very knowledgeable, we have never had an issue with any work that was done on our vehicles. He always helps us out when asked and goes above and beyond what would be expected.

I had a great experience! Mike is very nice. He explained everything in great detail, and was very efficient. My car needed multiple repairs, and the job was done in a very short amount of time. I d highly recommend this place!

Mike and his team are the best. I now live out of state but I make it a point to schedule my trips around when he will be open so I can see him. Very fair with pricing and does great work. A good mechanic is hard to find and the best one is right here!

Mike is always so great to deal with. He is honest and treats customers with respect. He is flexible and seems to find time to fit me into the schedule. I drive out of my way to bring my car to him. My husband, sister-in-law and co-workers all use him too!

Mike the head technician is great. He is knowledgeable and charges fair prices for excellent work. Work is done when promised. All in all hard to find great service these days but Clinton delivers.

Mike is a great, honest, fair mechanic and all around nice guy! I live several states away now, and have entrusted my elderly mom's auto care with Mike, and he always treats her with kindness and respect. This is a rarity today.

Where I will take my car for any issues from now on. I recently had my catalytic converter stolen and Mike was helpful in getting it replaced quickly and cost effectively and additionally helped with the insurance process. He always kept me in the loop and would call me to give me updates so I never had to wonder what was going on with my vehicle. I would recommended Clinton Auto Services to everyone.

I came here a few yrs ago with an old CRV, flat tire, and not a lot of money. I waited in their lot till they opened and for sure thought that they were going to tell me that I needed a whole new tire which I dreaded. Instead, $30 later I was on my way to work. You see my favorite mechanic passed, and I got played for a fool by many others after. Being a single mother with a low paying job, this meant the world to me. So when my Hyundai was recently flooded in Hurricane Ida, having only liability with tears in my eyes I called Clinton Auto. I spoke to a man named Mike. He said let insurance total it, until i explained my situation. He said ok lets bring it in. He fixed my car for a reasonable amount of money, leaving me feeling safe and happy. He wouldn't let me fix more than was necessary in case of future issues. Which brings us to now. My care lights stopped working and once again I was in a bad predicament. Mike said bring it on in and lets see wht we can do. He went far and beyond to make sure it would be affordable for me, not waning to do or act in anyway possible to charge me more than needed. I am blessed to finally once again find a caring and honest mechanic. He is reassuring example that good people do still exist. Air hugs to Mike since I not yet had the pleasure to meet him in person PS...behind every good man is an awesome team

My family has had its cars serviced here for years. The garage is 100% reliable. Prompt. efficient, honest service that's much less expensive than local dealerships.

After the dealer told me I had a problem with a fuse, I went to see Mike for some help. Short story, it wasn't a fuse.Mike had me in and out in 10 minutes. Price was right, service was great. Would recommend this place for service.

Always had great service. They maintain 2 of my families 4 cars. Always have been quick, efficient and on budget. The even managed to fix issues with a new car that the dealer could not get right.

Mike and his team are the BEST. Not only are they knowledgable, but the service is excellent and most importantly they truly care and are dedicated to their clients. They are also very honest about what the car needs. Highly recommend!

Do not - DO NOT - get your gas at this location! The attendant missed the gas insert and rammed the metal nozzle head into my car above the gas cover and took a deep chunk of paint and inflicted a deep scratch of about 1/2 inch down to the metal on my car (I was alerted to this due to a loud "bang" when he missed). I would have forgiven him and called it the day if he had just apologized, but his going out of the way to deny negligence with an attitude was unacceptable. Avoid at all costs! You've been warned - especially if you care about your car!

Valero station, top tier rated gasoline. Not the cheapest for credit card price, but it's convenient. Doesn't have late night time hours. Looks to be very busy as a repair shop and works on a lot of high-end cars.

Not only the guys in the fueling section are nice, but also the shop is great!! I always stop there for the gas but today was my second time in the shop and they are so nice, professional and MOST Importantly HONEST and decent!! I definitely recommend!

Horrible costumer service!! The price they quoted was doubled when I picked up the vehicle.. Never once told me it would be higher even though I spoke to them many times that day. When I tried to speak to them about it I was met with anger and vulgarity. I have never been talked to at a business like this!! An after all of that, the work was not even done correctly!! Went back and was cursed at by the mechanic Julio. Run away from this place horrible is an understatement!! Don't deserve 1 star even!!

It is 5 stars for gas, but really 1 star for service. They overcharge and perform services without authorization. They took my car over the Tappan Zee Bridge for no apparent reason. They are an unscrupulous shop. Go elsewhere for auto service.

The worst service! I will never come back. Con artists run by Mike who thinks he can get away with his outrageous prices, amateur work and taking no responsibility for his mistakes. Rude people with terrible service. Stay away!

Friendly people run this Valero. They're quick and efficient as well. Prices are good for NJ. I'll take a longer drive to get there for all of these reasons.

don't take your car there. doubled the price after i took the car.I had to fix my car later because they didn't put the part right. they were rude and didn't care about costumer service at all.
