Had a car towed here after an accident and had to go pay/pick up some things. Met the owner .nicest person! I would send anyone here and def be back if I have issues with my truck or need gas. Thanks for everything!!

Recently had some car trouble and AAA sent Teaneck shell to help me. Roger was the guys name that came to assist me on the side of the road broken down he was the nicest person I ve ever met in my life! He said he could tow it back to the shop and that one of the managers would call me with an update. I told him ok and about a hour later Dan called me with the update and said he could fix the car that day!! So I said ok go ahead, after the car was fixed I got a call it was ready for pick up. When I got to the shell station I was greet by Lou who was also so nice and accommodating! This is now my go to place for anything car related

The VSC and check engine icons popped up on the dashboard. Brought the car in and hoped for the best. As a woman not familiar with cars, Dan could have told me anything. It turned out that not using the car very often caued the icons to appear. $41 including a safety check!! The car is 19 years old so it could have been anything. I highly recommend this service station.

Team is very friendly. I have never had any issues til I recently brought my car in to check the brakes and do an oil change. I was told that the brakes were fine that the tech loves changing brakes and he would have notice anything wrong and the ABS should kick in. I continue to drive it and knew something was definitely wrong with the brakes. I took it to another mechanic, who told me that I had no brake fluid the line was leaking into another part of the car. He also noted that my car an older model has no ABS so it was very dangerous for me to be driving the car like that. I also need new shock absorbers. Obviously the tech at Shell only looked at the brakes from the exterior as the mechanic told me you would not notice anything without doing a proper inspection of the brake line. I miss the days when mechanics would inspect the car even if you when in for an oil change. I am glad I followed my gut and got another opinion.

These guys are the BEST!! I had brought my car to a few local service stations with a dangerous problem that none of them could ever figure out. My car would stall out while driving on the highway and my safety was being compromised.The mechanics here at Teaneck Shell figured out the problem quickly and were thorough in their diagnosis. Price for the repair was more than fair and I never had the problem reoccur again. It was like night and day after the repair and I am blessed to have found them.Dan, the Service Manager has been incredibly helpful thorough the years. He has always been fair and transparent in pricing and gives his expert advice on the best ways to progress when repairs are needed. I have dealt with many service managers in the past and Dan far exceeds all of them in his customer relations, dedication to resolution and all around decency. Every dealing I have had with him and Teaneck Shell has been beyond my expectations. The mechanics here are superior, as well as all the tow truck drivers that have helped me out when needed. Always courteous, on-time and personable.I highly recommend Teaneck Shell for anyone looking for competent and professional service at a fair price. Try them and I am certain you will feel the same as I do. I am very glad I found them!

Doug, the owner, was downright nasty. He did not realize I already had picked up my car before calling to discuss the estimate. He first said the car wasn t ready to be picked up (was still taken apart). This could have been an honest mistake as he probably doesn t keep track of the up-to-the-day status of each car (though a bit sus that he confidently said it was pulled apart if he wasn t sure). When I declined the estimate, he told me I didn t really have a choice since the car was undriveable. When I said, you re probably not going to like to hear this, but I already have the car back, took it to another garage, and am looking at an estimate for $3200 less than yours, he erupted in a slew of insults and names (none of which I can share here). Class act Dougie, a real class act.

Fantastic crew and very dedicated to thier customers. They helped me out when I got stuck and even AAA decided to leave me stranded on the highway. Dan and Dave are fantastic guys and as are the rest of the staff at Teaneck Shell.

Had a flat tire today just as I pulled into my office. Within 20 minutes of requesting roadside assistance via AAA app, tow truck was on site and ready to help! Excellent technician with polite and friendly service. Great experience!

I had a really bad experience at the dealership for my Toyota Camry. At that point I decided to look for a good mechanic and upon recommendation tried this Shell Station. I was very pleased with the maintenance and the work they did on my brakes. Customer service was outstanding and the pricing is fair. I ve recommended this Shell Station to friends and family.

Friendliest staff in town. My gas station of choice. Is it me, or does Shell gas last longer than other brands? Hmmmmmm...anyways, give it go, there's a mechanic shop N tow service on site.

For over 7 years we continue to get the best most honest service here and more reviews should reflect that. I have meet fellow customers there who speak highly of the auto repair here. I'm sad to see that more of them are not posting that fact here as many people look at yelp and google reviews. I am not related, not a friend, just a grateful customerAs a female I also want to express that it's nice to go someplace where you feel you can trust that you are not being told that you need "work done" that does not need to be done. A place where you are respected. I encourage females to use this facility since "auto repair" is sometimes a "sleazy" experience for women. This owner will tell you if something is found that could use work but may not necessarily be an urgent repair or is not a safety issue. The owner of this facility is an honest ethical man. It's a great good old fashion American business that cares about its customers and the quality of it's work.I think it's easy for people to post things when they are angry or feel something did not go the way they hoped it would but sadly it's also easy NOT to take time to post about a great business experience because when things simply always go well we take it for granted.No business is perfect but this business not only tries hard the first time around but I would find it hard to believe that they would not try to address any post service issues as best as they can. Fortunately after more than 7 years of using this business for auto-repair I have NEVER had a post repair issue. I encourage not only women (for sure) but others to consider this review as well as the other reviews.

Used their towing service through triple A on a car I had broke down near my friends house. I was putting it off for a few days dreading the pain in getting the car towed from a street spot to my mechanics. Finally made the call to AAA. Steven showed up 30 minutes later and it was a quick and painless process.

I really never write reviews, but I m just so happy with the service I received that it s important I spread the word. I got a bolt in my tire last week and I went to a tire place and they tried to repair it, but told me turns out I will need a new tire. I was then directed to Teaneck Shell by AAA (because I would be eligible for a discount) and the guys not only gave me such a better rate to begin with, but they repaired the tire the original store said wasn t possible!! Saved me hundreds...Now this week I drove over a blade and got a flat! Can t make this up They helped me yet again and could not have been more kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Come here for all your tire needs. David and Justin are great.

The attendant was super nice and quick. I was there on valentines day. There was a mother and teenage daughter that pulled up to get gas. They didn't seem to be in such an amazing mood. The attendant gave back the credit card and handed the girl a red rose and wished them happy valentines. The mom and daughter broke into beautiful smiles and I think that really changed their day.

I've been using this mechanic and gas station for over twenty years, and they have been consistently professional, competent, reasonably priced, and also helpful and friendly. They're one of the few stations that are AAA rated because of their high quality of service. I highly recommend them.

My vehicle broke down and AAA sent Roger from Teaneck shell to tow the vehicle. My towing experience went extremely well. Roger was very pleasant , professional and communicated well . He made sure my vehicle arrived safely to where it needed to be towed . The job was not easy , but he sure made it look that way . When he arrived with my vehicle he had to place it in a narrow slot in a crowded lot . I would highly recommend shell of Teaneck if you need your vehicle towed. Roger turned a bad experience with my car breaking down into pleasant experience . Thank you Roger for all of your help .

Delighted with my experience with Teaneck Shell. From the late night towing which arrived promptly and was delivered with utmost courtesy to repairing the issue within less than 12 hours (on a Saturday no less) and at minimal charge. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and great customer service. I would definitely go there again.

Get towed here. Then get your car fixed here and grab some gas on the alway home. Excellent service all around. Dan will make it happen

AAA sent me to this garage after I broke down, it was about to close but Dan stayed longer helping out, and came back early in the morning to get back to my vehicle to get me back on the road. Unfortunately it didn t happen like that but long story short, there s never a good place to have your car break down but if it were to happen, this shop would be the place to make your experience that much better.Thanks for the help, the professionalism and going the extra mile to make my day that much less of a headache

This is yet another reliable repair shop. At the start of last winter, my car gave out a sweetish, burning plastic smell when I turned on the heat. After googling the problem, I thought that it was a busted heater core. This part is very expensive to fix, and I was prepared to dish out the $1K+ cost of replacement.They ("Nelson") diagnosed/fixed the problem. The culprits were:1. A broken radiator cap, which caused some of the coolant to sometimes bubble out & spill onto the engine. Hence the sweetish smell when the vent intake is opened.2. A slow leaking engine oil relief valve, which happens to drip on an exhaust system pipe (very hot), and vaporizes when it hits. This happens very close to the vent intake.Total cost: $60.I really appreciate the honesty and integrity of this place.

Business posted hours as 24/7 but that's not true. At the least at 6:53 pm on Sunday, it's closed and the pumps deactivated.

Do not take your car here for service, They gave me an estimate for 185.00 plus tax to replace a part they broke, per my late husband they were suppose to replace it. I went to a local auto part shop and purchased the part for $20.00 new and paid $40.00 for it to be installed. This Shell auto service is a ripe off. Women be aware you have been warned.

Had my car towed 60 miles home after breaking down. The AAA service sent David from Teaneck Shell to do the job. After being pushed off the GWB and then paying a separate tow service (only one service can be used to remove your vehicle from the highway at a rate of $110 cash only, which the "other" tow kindly delivered me and my vehicle to a bank), David loaded my car up and got me home. Very professional to deal with. Although you may or may not be able to request a driver, My experience with David and Teaneck Shell towing service provided by AAA was very professional, not to mention their brand new truck which was a pleasure to ride in, knowing the condition of other trucks on the road. 5 stars for David the very professional driver, and 5 stars to Teaneck Shell for having a new truck and hiring, in my experience, a professional staff. It was a good end to an otherwise miserable 5.5 hour ride home.
