Jon is a technician extraordinaire. We were in a time crunch and called all the big places in the area. No one would come out and didn't have any suggestions. When I googled RV repair the third name that came up, had already talked to one and two, was Rec Tech. Jon answered promptly, was very friendly, listened to my issue and offered to come out on a Saturday morning. He arrived promptly, checked my issues and arrived at a solution. After he left we had to call him for directions and he returned and gave us many good suggestions. He is an exceptional business owner with a passion for his work and his customers. Definitely call Jon!!!

I called to try to purchase a lock for my camper. Even though REC TEC focuses more on the service side of things, John took the time to answer a bunch of questions about my camper and direct me in the right direction. He really didn't need to do that and his willingness to help is an absolute credit to his character and business. I would not hesitate recommending this service to anyone. Thanks again!

Jon is an amazing resource if you have an RV or camper! He knows every part of them. He's fixed my slide, my awning, my heat, my water heater, my stove. Also helpful with explaining what he's doing and offering me ways to save money on my own repairs as well. Great communication, great prices, can't beat him!

He pays attention to details and has the ability to troubleshoot the toughest of problems quickly and swiftly. Jon was great. Our family bought a used travel trailer during this last winter. Being a first time RV owner, I needed a crash course on all the systems and to see if the rig was in good shape for an upcoming trip. Jon took his time showing me how everything works, made a repair to the roof and even gave me a little towing advice.As well as being very knowledgeable about my RV, he's just an overall nice guy. I will be contacting him again whenever I have any questions or repairs on my Winnebago.April B

If you need on-site RV repair, Jon is amazing. His quality of workmanship is superior. He replaced two failed flexible solar panels on our motorhome. Being flexible, the original panels were mounted with adhesive directly to the roof. Jon thoroughly cleaned and sealed the heat damaged roof surface prior to installing and testing two new rigid panels. Jon is very neat and meticulous. I would highly recommend Jon for your RV repair and upgrade needs. If I could give him 6 stars out of 5, I would.

Had called Jon for some warranty work on my dinette slide. Cable was broken and he replaced it quickly. He also didn't like the way it was opening and closing and pursued further with investigation and a call to the slide mechanism company. After a couple visits waiting for parts to be delivered to my home, job was completed. I will not hesitate to call Jon again for a fix I can't handle or even to save me time. Thanks Jon.

Jon is a very polite. I had a major problem with my hot water heater. Most if not all of the wires were chewed by mice! Very little working room since my hot water heater is in the bathroom and Jon was able to get the job done in two hours. Thank you again JonService: ElectricalService: Electrical

Highly recommend!! John was punctual, he knew what he was doing. There was no need to go to a RV mechanic, he comes to you! He had all the proper tools even was able to send me a estimate onsite! Well rounded businessman.

John was great! He showed up on time and really diagnosed the issues and explained his repair process with me. He fixed my travel trailers AC, refrigerator, and fix my light problems by changing my power converter. He explained the exact reasons why and that made me feel like I got a great value. Jon is an amazing find! RV Techs can be hard to come by in northeast Pennsylvania. GOOD RV Techs can be nearly impossible! I wish I had found him years ago.Our rig is a Voltage toy hauler that we full-timed in for nearly 4 years. It has tons of road wear and then sat here in PA for 2 more years due to work. He was able to come out and get the rig trip ready in an afternoon. He could have simply done the work and inspections and moved to the next appointment but he found issues that he stayed to document and presented when he was done with the work we requested.I will definitely have him out again before we leave to Texas!Service: Body & Trim

I'm so glad we found REC TEC to winterize our campervan! Jon is one of the "good guys" out there. He was very patient, professional and very helpful. Truly can tell he has a good heart. :)

After calling a few places for a company that would travel to my location. I was refered to Jon from Rec Tec LLC from a retired RV mechanic Steve, and I was more than pleased with Jon's work ethics, honesty, and his knowledge of my 5th wheel. He drove to my location and went through every nook and cranny of my RV. He gave me a complete diagnostic of all components. (Meanwhile I only asked him to check the slides), his honesty is more than commendable. He didn't try to make me fix anything that didn't require fixing (lord knows someone is always making you fix things that don't need fixing). I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest RV company. He not only won my respect as an honest business man he also won my brother in law's (Benny). I can't thank you enough and will definitely refer all my friends, and family to Rec Tec LLC.

I had a mystery leak...Jon was on time... professional and really nice.. I would highly recommend him to any RV owner for any job..Very knowledgeable and in high demand as plumbers were useless to my problem..will definitely use his service AGAIN!!!THANK YOU JON

I was told someone was coming then a day before the appointment it was canceled(still not a big deal) and I was told I would be contacted about an appointment for another time. A week goes by and I ask what s up and they tell me the repair man won t be in my area for the season anymore. They should have just told me that prior rather than have me contact them on my own. I just had a baby and I swear this is my breaking point. So thank you
