My husband and I needed to change our brakes of our cars. We took them first to another place and they wanted to charge 1600 for just my car and on top of that they added something that my car didn't need.We then came here and they checked it right away and even showed us the car without the wheels. Very accommodating, did the service fast and for a third of the price!! Beyond grateful and happy customers. Thanks

The staff at this location is always so kind, patient and helpful. Just this afternoon, I got a severely flat tire out of nowhere and they took me in right away. I know I'm in good hands when I walk in the door. Thank you so much to the awesome crew!

This was the worst experience I made an appointment for 4.30 for an oil change then I had to wait until 6.46 that s when they were finally done after I had to tell them that I had an appointment and had to go and the whole time when I looked through the work station they were just standing there doing nothing. I wouldn t go there something simple took my whole evening and was late to the appointment. WORST PLACE never going back had to take my car somewhere else to make sure they actually changed the oil and not just added to it

Absolutely stellar experience at Pep Boys in Stratford, New Jersey! The service provided by Chris and George truly deserves five stars. Our car battery went out after a birthday dinner and this was the closest location to us. We didn t have an appointment but George was extremely pleasant and courteous to get our Nissan Murano in a bay quickly. He explained the battery types and testing thoroughly. And the team member who came to get our car was very personable as well. The lobby was comfortable, clean and warm. There is even coffee available. Overall fantastic experience, will definitely come back and recommend to other drivers!

Actually, I was really surprised they gave me a thorough inspection on my car and were honest about the things that really needed to be replaced and what didn t which was a nice surprise. Didn t try to talk me into something that I didn t need and was nice enough to say you can take care of this in six months. It s not urgent and I appreciate that.

The workers were very carrying and respectful towards my car. Top notch customer service, the waiting room and bathroom were nice and tidy and they also had a nice sense of humor so it wasn t awkward when talking to them lol. The wait was a good while though, longer then I anticipated but honestly I would rather them take their time then rush because then I know they re putting they re 100% towards my car. Other than that everything else was great :)

I do not have the option to leave without stars, but if I could I would. After doing my first oil change with them a couple of months ago I had to take it because my car required it, The incredible thing about all this is that another mechanic explained to me that there was no possibility of doing any oil change until it was resolved because they had placed a blue temporary sealant around it. Now a day before I had visited them to let them know that I needed their services but I had also noticed a temporary blue sealant around the crankcase plug and oil residue around it. The service manager just told me that they put that temporary blue sealant on so that the next mechanic to do the service would have to remove it and they cover their backs if any damage occurs to the crankcase or the crankcase plug. After he gave his reasons, it seemed very smart to let them remove it themselves and do the work.What was my surprise minutes after I left my car? They call me to tell me that the gasket (A piece made of soft materials, which is located between two pieces "engine" and "Crankcase" to achieve a good fit between them, avoiding loss or entry of fluids, in this case "oil") was missing and that the cost would be an additional $ 30 to the initial cost, My answer was that I was not going to cover that cost because it was not me who caused that damage nor my mechanic because to remove that gasket, the crankcase plug would have to be removed, which still lay intact with the blue temporary sealant that they had placed themselves since the last service. Now this Service Manager got into an argument with me saying it was my mechanic who caused the damage and I told them that it was not like that because what he was saying had no logic whatsoever Because for someone who was not even a mechanic, it would never occur to him to move the crankcase without first removing the�cap from the�crankcase�and draining the oil from it. In the end these people had to collect the costs and repair the damage caused by them.Now my recommendation is to never bring your car to this place or waste your time arguing with such incompetent people and�negligent.�This Service Manager did not even apologize and by telephone he told me not to bring my car back, to which I replied to pray to God that nothing would happen to my car because they will see my face again.When I arrived at the place to pick up my car after the service, the same manager attended me and, as expected, he did not apologize and did not want to argue with me again even knowing that the fault was theirs. Friends read the reviews before visiting these people and thus avoid bad experiences.

Sitting in the (shop) office right now 12:32 pm Tuesday. Still waiting for Continental tire to be installed/ replacement . Ordered Saturday morning Aug 12 about 10:30 am called once yesterday and twice today to find out if tire come in was told at 12 :30 it was here drove over only to be told it can not be installed because the electricity is out. And the balance machine is not working. I told them to put the tire on and I will drive the car to Certified across the street on Laurel Rd she couldn't do that for liability reasons. Just purchased these in April 1023. Wanted me to comeback tomorrow . After another hour of steady bickering finely working on putting on the tire. After trying to screw me over and telling them I wasn't leaving the store without my car ( tire installed) Rog tells me not to ever come back in HIS STORE. I've had company cars from 2 major steel companies, 4 company trucks( service vehicles) repairs to commercial restaurant equipment, as well as my , my wife's, my kids cars as well as my own service truck for OVER 40 years at many many different Pep Boys through out the Delaware Valley especially when out of my home area. Check Your Data Base and this a** H*l* tells a 78 yr old male with all my experiences Don't come back to Pep Boys again

Dishonest service- I purchased car alignment with one year warranty which they clearly mentioned to me in store as I was purchasing. There was no difference in alignment when I picked up the car. When I brought it back in, they said I don t have warranty. It is also clearly stated on my receipt. When I showed them the receipt, they made something up and said the comment on my receipt doesn t mean I have warranty. I should have checked the reviews before, but when you check the reviews on the website, you can see many people mention the same issue.

The Stratford Pep Boys were dishonest with the work they said needed to be done on my car, saying more needed to be done than really needed to be; then they inflated/changed the price of the front suspension job by $500 midway through their work, and they did not acknowledge previous warranted work that was done at their exact location on the car 2 years previously with shock/struts replacement, which I have the invoice to prove. Very disappointed.

I appreciated the convenience of PB being opened bright and early on a Sunday morning and available to repair my leaky tire, before getting into a busy week and having to change plans accordingly. The folks at PB were courteous and attentive, repaired the tire quickly and did a complete safety inspection (tire pressure, fluids, etc.) of my '22 Ranger pickup I'm now a week out from the tire repair, tire pressure has remained constant and there was no change in handling/performance of the vehicle, so indications are that they did an excellent job.

Very well run. I instantly got a good feeling about the guy I was dealing with, who I believe was the manager. They had my tire in stock, which was a great step up from the last place I went. At first it was looking like a 2+ hour wait because they were short staffed that day, but then the tech himself happened to come in, & was like "nah, I got this!" My total time spent there was around an hour, & I couldn't be more satisfied. Major recommend.

I recommend you guys to check your car before leaving it and also the parts you want to change. I have a blue 2021 honda accord. I had to take it to this bad place called Pep Boys. Since my tire blew out and I called twice to ask if they had the same tire. They told me that it was available and I could take my car to change it. . I wanted a good year. to match the other 3s but what I received was a kelly, which was not to my liking. . They told me they would change it. I came back a week later to change my tire. but this host of horror does not end here. They broke my passenger side skirt. And a month has passed and they are not worthy of calling me to give me a solution to the damage to my car. I have called more than twice a week and they only know to tell me that the store manager is not in at that moment

Appointments mean nothing here. A simple tire installation should not take four hours. This is ridiculous. Don t go to PepBoys.

If I had the option to put 0 stars I would because this shows bad my experience with pep boys was today. I usually have issues with them finding my warranty information for my car only for them to find it 15-20 minutes later which also happened again today. I had an appointment for a tire rotation and alignment at 1pm today. I went around 5:30pm to pick it up. I was handed over the keys by Sharon in a ziplock bag which was a bit unusual to me because they normally hand it directly to the customer. She also was in a rush to leave which was offsetting as well considering the fact that she wasn't in there when I dropped off my car at 1pm. I went ahead to my car only to notice my key was completely broken. I have never broken nor damaged my key and this is certainly not how my keys were dropped off today. I went back inside to notify an older man at the front, but all he did was offer to keep the broken key overnight and "figure it out tomorrow" with no sense of apology or sympathy. I ended up taking the key home to keep for proof and simply because I knew they were not gonna be of any help. Apart from the broken key, I also had detailing done to my car two days ago which was over $150 and when I looked at my car I saw scratches all over the car from the hood, bumper, trunk, and even all 4 doors. I'm highly disappointed in their service as well as lack of professionalism to at least acknowledge that one of their team members have broken my key and damaged my car. I definitely will NOT be coming back to this location especially after today. I have additional pictures and videos from before it was damaged and after that but I have provided an example of the damage. Save yourself the trip and go elsewhere or to a different location at least.

I was able to get a same day appointment. On a Sunday. Everyone was friendly & polite; most importantly they were knowledgeable. I needed a tire patched & it was done as efficiently as possible because again, it was a Sunday. And the price was beyond reasonable.

Nice people but Terrible service. Came to get my battery replaced. Installed it incorrectly the first time, and then the car battery died. Came back to get it fixed under warranty and they replaced it with the same battery, so it died again. Did not go back a third time, wont be going to pepboys in the future.

My girlfriend had a strange noise coming from her car. Pep boys tried effortlessly to fix the problem and they did fix the problem.
