I got my dream car today! Ted the general manager was our sales guy and he was absolutely amazing! I would recommend anyone to go there to get a very fairly prices vehicle. Ted made the car buying process a breeze! He was super funny, entertaining helpful and just all around great guy! We will definitely be back in the future!

I had a very good experience with Star Auto Mall! I ve been in the market for a new car (used, but new to me) since July of 2020 and just bought a 2017 Camry from them mid November 2020. I m fairly new to the whole buying a car process, but the entire time I was there I felt comfortable and taken care of.I was a little shocked at the resulting sticker price, but that just comes with any vehicle purchase. Even with that said, their pricing is extremely reasonable. All three salesmen were a pleasure to be around; very easygoing, informative, and upfront. I liked the vibe so much that I jokingly asked if they were hiring!My only complaint is that I did not receive an inspection sticker on my new vehicle, but I m going back 2 days later to remedy the issue. No biggie :).I would 100% go to these guys again. Although I spent a good while there, all of it was pleasant. Even the vehicle trade in was an easy process.

My name is Shawna. I recently purchased a vehicle, from Star Auto Mall. I was referred to the dealership and I have no complaints regarding my experience. I will refer others based on my positive experience. I found the vehicle I was interested in on the website, and kept in contact with Ted before even seeing the car in person. Ted responded quickly, always had an answer and I felt he was genuine and honest. He greeted us at the time we arranged to meet and had the car ready to be test driven. Ted was patient and stayed late that evening, so that I could drive my new car home!! Ted was engaging through the entire process and extremely personable. Two thumbs up and five stars for Ted and Star Auto Mall..

Refreshing experience with buying a car. I dealt with Ted who didn t play any games. We found a couple issues but Ted took care of them and I am very happy. Got a great car for a fair price. Everyone I met at the dealership was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this dealership

Fast and hassle free experience. One of the easiest honestly. Getting out of my teenage two door sports car and into my new mommy mobile, was more of a joy then a burden when working with Ted! Nice to have more of a personable sales guy that is willing to go above and beyond, then the kind who rushes just to get the job done and not looking for your best interest. I highly recommend to family and friends, knowing they ll get the best price without the run around.

i had an awesome experience there the salesman Ricky listen. to everything i had to say. he did his absolute best for me to get a great car with low and affordable enough payments and a what i was looking for to put down for the car he and the financial manger worked with me and went the extra mile to do what other big car dealers couldn't. I'm so happy and grateful for the amazing service i got and i highly recommend going there for a good car and that's affordable and in your budget!

Just bought a truck from Ted at Star! Found it online at the PA. dealer, he had the truck checked and delivered to NJ the next day before noon! Awesome job Ted! He made the whole purchasing experience fast and painless, even shopped my loan out to get me a great rate. If you re looking for a used car dealer with honesty and integrity I would shop here! Just purchased my 2013 VW Passat. Very satisfied with my purchase so far. This in my very first diesel engine vehicle and I'm looking forward to owning it for while. I feel I got a good deal and the service was immaculate. Ted was my salesman and he worked with me to get a good deal. Larry an his team helped me get a perfect suv with a low monthly payment. I didn't feel pressured or pushed to another car like other dealerships do. They were very patient an understanding. I highly recommend them for your next car purchase. Im happy an very satisfied with my new suv an my experience with them.

So I got a vehicle from them through a second party leasing program. They gave me a car without a spare tire, no floor mats, 2 slow tires with the sensor on, water damage and stains on the seat, cigarette burns on the seat(one the size a bottle cap), expired inspection sticker and went through 2 registration on the vehicle which never got resolved even after 2 months of having the vehicle. After pleading for a few times while operating the vehicle I managed to get one tire fixed and floor mats that don t belong to that vehicle. Phone call after phone call it was a big run around. Customer service is good by a select view. The GM doesn t get any good credit from this either. I got his person phone line just to be sent to voicemail. Phone calls were returned. But like I said in the lines above nothing was resolved even after 2 months with the vehicle. Tried to get a rental for driving around with an expired registration and inspection but never received any assistance from the GM who said would get back to me within the hour of calling him. The excuse line for him was in a meeting. My thing is though without the customers business there is no meeting to attend. Right??? The New Jersey Stewartville location was the root cause of this mayhem. But in my opinion they are all connected under one roof.P.S. I sat in the P.A. Sales room and heard how they were giving a customer who supposedly got a car from them the run around. Key things like tell her he is in a meeting . Or I just spoke to him and said everything will be okay.Very poor customer service aspect. I hope this helps anyone buying vehicle from places like this.

Our family just got our 3rd car from Star Auto Mall in Stewartsville. Everyone working there is so nice and really wants you to find the right car for you. Saleem was our salesman for the third car, and he was great! He wanted to make sure I loved the car I bought. Sergey is great as well and has helped us multiple times! I have been so impressed with this dealership, it is much better than others that only try to get money out of you. I highly recommend!!

Sales staff is willing to work with the customer to make sure they get exactly what they want, at a price they can deal with. Sergey was a huge help toward the end of my experience there and I was able to drive off happily in my new vehicle.I highly recommend this place if you are in the market for a used vehicle.

I bought my 2017 Ford escape from here. I have to say that working with the sales team Larry and Ted was fun. They both made buying with them enjoyable. However i have to give Larry a great review. I believe Larry believes in what he does and it showed. He is a man of true character. When i had a problem with the calipers and brakes he called right away to the other dealership to have them see me right away. While i was driving to the PA destination he called me to make sure i was ok and that i wasn't lost. He had even called me afterwards just to check on me. You don't find people like Larry much, they are few and far between. Larry and Ted are honorable men.Today after much running around the problem have hopefully been resolved. Star auto should be proud! Customer service was astounding!

Terrific experience at Star Auto Mall. Ted and Emmet are both great guys to work with and are willing to answer any questions. The car was also the lowest price I found for its model. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a car. You won't be disappointed.

Buyer Beware! Bought a 2017 Chevy Malibu with 29,000 miles. Car came with no Inspection sticker so I took it to my life long mechanic. Needed 4 brand new tires right off the bat. Now, only 2,000 miles later the check engine light is on. Not sure what the problem is yet, hopefully nothing serious, but it's starting to feel like they knowingly sold me a piece of junk. With all the covid nonsense I thought they could be trusted so I didn't due my usual due diligence before purchasing. Learn from my mistake, looks like I bought myself nothing but trouble.

I had a great experience buying a car from Ted at Star Auto Mall. A couple things stood out to me:- There were no strange fees hidden in the price of the car. I've found that a lot of dealerships in NJ and NY hide many additional fees into their car prices. Sometimes they will even advertise a car price that is "after downpayment" when you read the fine print. There was no games like this at Star Auto Mall - I found Ted to be upfront about the prices.- After taking the car to an independent mechanic for a Pre-Purchase Inspection, Ted arranged to have a number of identified items corrected, including the front alignment and a new tire at no additional cost. He also ordered new floormats for the car.- The car was delivered to my front door, over an hour away from the dealership.All in all a painless buying experience.

I highly recommend this place. I was shopping for a truck since I was in a accident and mine was totaled. I needed something fast. I stopped in to check out some trucks that were out front. The one I wanted was sold. I told the salesman I wanted to look around and I left. I came back to look at another one there later that day. Stated to fill out application but still wasn't sure. I left that night again to sleep on it. I came back the next morning and purchased a beautiful truck. I left twice and they didn't try to stop me. These guys are a great bunch. No pressure sale no chasing me with bs. They let me do the thinking and making my own decisions. Ill definitely come for my wifes car after these payments are down. You'll ever find a friendlier group and they make it fun.Thanks Star

Stopped in looking for a new car since my last one was totaled. Everyone here was very nice and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very accommodating. Even won tickets to a hockey game with club seats just for signing a deal. Star Auto Mall NJ helped me when it counted.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DON T LET THESE GUYS WASTE YOUR TIME!We saw a listing for a car and made an appointment to see it. We got there and the guy greets us. We tell him we made an appointment to see a car and he assisted us from there. He then tells us that the car was at one of their other auto mall locations getting rEpAiReD and that the car was supposed to be here this morning. So then the guy told us they were bringing the car WE WANTED and a similar car to see as well. He told us it would only be 15 minutes, so we decided to wait. They kept reassuring us that the car was coming, but guess how long we waited... AN HOUR!! We finally see one car pull up, one and only one. And guess which one it was... That s right, NOT the one we wanted to see. Moments later a different salesmen assists us and now tells us the car we wanted was sold . Why did the guy lie to us earlier? If the car got sold earlier that day, why didn t tell us before?! The salesman tried persuading us into buying the other car. He kept spitting out reasons why we should buy it, but it was honestly just annoying.We didn t buy the other car, so that sucks for them. The only thing we got from this dealership was a horrible experience.These people might waste your time. But I guess that s what they get paid for.

Don t buy from Stewartsville location don t go to Penn Auto for any service I bought a 2009 Jeep from Star Auto Mall in Stewartsville NJ I bought a extended warranty for vehicle. Within a month the rear had to be replaced it took two weeks for Penn Auto Group to replace the rear I got it back and the check engine light came on I took it back to them they had it for a week I got it back the light came back on in two days. I had to bring the Jeep back three more times for them to finally get the check engine light to stay off so now after a year I could take it to inspection. Right after that the rear end started to leak again. I brought it back to them to fix and thereplaced the rear again I drove for eleven months and rear is leaking again. Bottom line is the service department is terrible , the sale is nothing but a conman I would never buy a vehicle from either star auto !!

I bought a car here a few months ago that had a loose fender. I called the guy who sold me the car, Emmet Obyrne, and he told me he d call the shop on Monday and take care of it for me. He never called and never got my fender fixed. Also, when he sold me the car he wouldn t budge on the price because he was offering me a special package that included two free oil changes, coupons, a bunch of other lies. I had to pay the oil change out of pocket and when I tried contacting the guy who sold me the car it took 9 calls for him to finally answer and he told me the package me promised me doesn t exist anymore. I called him again after and he then said he never promised me anything and that I was one with short term memory and I fabricated the whole deal. He told me to contact someone in the finance department and I have yet to have him even answer after two weeks. The service here is a joke.

PLEASE READ!!DO NOT GET A USED VEHICLE FROM THIS LOCATION! I bought my 2010 Mazda roughly 2 months ago IF EVEN THAT LONG, and the head gasket blew. Dumped over 7 quarts oil into the car in less than an hour and the car is still empty on oil but without any leaks. This car was made to hide all mechanical issues until it blows up completely. And that's exactly what happened LESS THAN 90 days after buying a vehicle from Star Auto mall. The salesman that I dealt with I believe was Elliot, who said after test driving the car for HALF AN HOUR that the car was in great condition and would even sell it to his kids! Well clearly not Elliot!

On Thursday Nov 5, 2020, my husband and I were traveling on Route 78 when a loud sound under the car caused us to exit the highway to find an auto service center. After traveling on local roads we came upon Star Auto Mall of New Jersey. Their General Manager Ted Craig and their service mechanic Milton promptly identified and corrected the problem.My husband (80) and I (76) have been married for 55 years and have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. totaling 2,200,000 miles (Business and Pleasure).Star provided prompt service. Milton was skilled in his workmanship in solving our immediate problem. We recommend STAR for those in need of regular and emergency service.
