I contacted the shop to inquire about some information on an issue I am having with my car and called and asked for some guidance. Whoever I spoke to (I forgot to get a name) spent 10 minutes answering all of my questions in great detail and was not trying to push me off since I was not necessarily calling for paid services. This was extremely professional and very informative and if/when I need any performance work I will definitely inquire about going to them for future repairs. I don t live local but am thoroughly impressed with how informative and detailed he was in explaining how to attack my issues. Thank you to whoever you are. You helped me better understand my possible issues.

I brought my 2011 WRX to Precision to get diagnosed for a misfire. They were extremely communicative and always had their questions answered before assuming. Great shop and will be coming back.

I have been going to to this location a few years now and the work is always great. They are a bit pricey for hourly rate but they are truly Subaru experts. I will continue to use them and recommend any Subaru drivers to use them. They are the best in the area.

I went there on 8/2 I had decent experience over-all. bit pricey on certain thing, but we are paying for there expertise it cost money to play. I would liked to face to face experience since I spend decent amount of money. owning a Subaru isn't cheap and if you come here better to have some deep pockets. All seriousness Great job, I will recommend Precision Tuning to anyone. Thank you CarmeloServices: Steering & suspension repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

One of the best performance shops around, if not THE best that I've ever dealt with. They did beautiful work on my Honda Civic. I can't recommend this place enough. They are very fair in pricing and didn't hesitate to explain every step that was being taken to upgrade my car.

By far the best! and only Place! I would bring my Subaru. They are very knowledgeable and I Can trust their work that they do. They re always are there to listen to my questions I have and give me thorough answers. Every time I come here it feels more like a friendly hangout than just coming to a shop and here s the keys tune my car. I can go on and on but overall I ve had a great experience with them and I think you will too!

These guys are freaking amazing. They are honest and fair and fast. They will always go above and beyond to help you and accommodate your schedule. They are performance shop but my car is a standard high mileage car and they always replace with appropriate parts. I recommend them to any with a subaru. It is worth it. A +++++

Fantastic experience start to finish. Brought my 2018 wrx for first pro-tune and mud flap install. Had all questions answered quickly by email, was able to make an appointment quickly, and the work was done right for the price quoted. And the tune makes an immediately noticeable impact, especially up to about 5k rpm. I'll be back to Precision Tuning.Services: Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim

I had my car in their shop a couple of times for go fast parts install and a new clutch. Quality job, reasonable prices. Another time I stopped by because I needed help with a fuel pump assembly the guy I talked to was super cool, he stopped whatever he was doing and helped me to properly put together fuel pump assembly for my STI. Definitely recommend.

These guys are just awesome! I only really dealt with Rich and Carmelo, but I don't have a shred of doubt that the rest of the team there is just as amazing as those guys. Went in for a tune on my '03 WRX and I honestly didn't expect to just drop it off and pick it up. I had a gut feeling things were going to be wrong. Sure enough, I was right, I had problem after problem, but the guys over there always kept me updated on what was needed and what was going to be done and how much it'd run be about. Without a doubt these guys are the best. I honestly felt like family there and their staff was so kind, even to a not so car savvy person such as myself. Amazing staff, good pricing, well worth the 2 hour drive to them. I highly recommend going to these guys for any work that needs to be done.

I've been seeing the guys at Precision Tuning for around 3 years now and have never left disappointed. My main interactions have been with Rich (owner), Jeff (tech), Melo (tech), and Cleo (tuner), and all experiences have been very positive. Whenever I've had a concern about something with the car, they were more than willing to help and take a look at the car again, especially with tuning. All of their techs are top notch and have attention to detail for every car that comes in as if it were their own car. I can't recommend them enough, and will continue to go back whenever it's necessary. They're a 3.5 hour drive away and it's worth every second of travel every time.

In my limited experience with the shop thus far they have been extremely helpful and communicate clearly as far as what needs to be done or if they run into any problems. I am very picky about who I let touch the mechanical components on my cars and do not hesitate to let Carmelo or his team perform work needed. Definitely a great shop.

Everytime I go to Precision the crew treats me well. They are straight shooters with the vehicles they service and I have never been steered wrong. I had a crack in my catback exhaust and they were willing to repair but explained that time and material to make the repair would be more costly then just ordering a replacement section of the exhaust. I really appreciated the honesty and help.

I couldn't be happier with this place. They did amazing work tuning my 2011 STI. These guys take their time and really care about their work. Definitely worth every penny. I'll be coming back for all my tuning needs. Rich, Melo, Kevin, and all the guys at the shop really make you feel comfortable and right where you need to be. Thanks for the great work guys. Was directed to see Rich when I was looking to get a tune car I had just purchased and he delivered! I had a couple of questions after the tune and Rich answered my concerns through email. This shop really knows their stuff and I would highly recommend them especially if you own a Subaru.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, BrakesServices: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes

Best experience I have ever had at a performance shop. Car was fixed when it was supposed to be, for what the estimate was, and the work was flawless. I have been to several other "performance" shops, but this place really is a performance shop. Rich and Melo took the time to speak with me and answered every question I had, and I had a lot of questions. :) Thank you for the awesome work, and I will certainly be back for more work soon!

Melo is a super cool dude. I called him a week before, and he was able to get me in on the day I wanted. Even with COVID-19, it was still a smooth process/ I told him what needed to be done. They offered great service and quality work, at prices lower than dealerships. He even told me about some stuff to keep an eye out for, in case it goes in the future (i.e: my A/C compressor was having an issue, and my car was out of Freon. They filled it up, and told me how to keep an eye on it, to see if there is an issue in the future). I will definitely be doing business with this shop in the future. And who knows, maybe one day it'll be to get my car tuned!

My review comes after being a customer for a few years, in which I have gotten tuned twice and had two decently sized stops amongst other smaller visits. 1 being injectors, rails meth etc. 2nd being clutch and oilpan. This review is solely based on the communication you recieve when you take your car to this shop. The work is quality and both tunes i recieved work(ed) flawlessly. They have a phone number although seldom do you get a answer. Theres an email which sometimes get answered, usually takes 2 attempts in my case.Recently I took the car in for spark plugs and a compression/ leakdown test. Dropped the car off at 11am and was told it would take a "few hours". Get one call stating 1 coilpack is bad. Decide to replace both on that side. After that radio silence. Call the shop multiple times but no answer. Send a unamswered email. I decide to go there at closing time 7pm to see whats going on because I need the car to get home. In which I was informed that during the process my keys were locked inside the car. It happens. Where was the call to let me know so I could have had the spare keys brought over? Instead the solution was to jam something in the door jam damage the trim and paint on the inside. Said that parts were ordered and they were going to fix it. 2 weeks of nothing I had to call to see if that was still the case. Another time there was a multiple day delay on my car because of a "shop stomach bug going around". Again no one answers the phone or emails. Once again had to show up. The response last time was "I'm only human". The human part is the mistake which we all make. The human part is not leaving the customer in the dark.Theres alot of cars outside so maybe its just that they dont need (my) business. If you want quality work but be in the dark during the whole process this is the place. I will be taking my car and my business elsewhere.

Haven't seen Rich in quite some time, but was always happy with the work of him and his employees. His shop was the only place I eve brought my wrx to. Only reason I haven't been back is due to the distance and then having sold the car.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance

I definitely recommend these guys! They are all so friendly and super helpful! Very fair pricing. I fell like they really try to satisfy you and really take care of you. I actually brought them my Bugeye WRX, which now has a full JDM STi swap, for the first time two weeks ago. The first time I went in there, they made me feel like family. I will definitely be getting more work done here in the near future and for as long as I can foresee. :)

I can only rate their customer service and not their mechanical capabilities. I was attempting to contact them regarding getting my car tuned. After repetitive attempts from not getting an answer and leaving messages but never received any call back. I finally reached (Rich) and then be put me on hold for 10 minutes (and longer) and then once he picked up he was very rude and unprofessional. Told me he would get back to me regarding my email of the tune I needed and never called back to discuss (it's been over 2 weeks). When an owner feels the need to explain to a customer that he has been working long hours and is very busy that's just showing poor management skills. Good to see in other reviews that I was not the only one to experience this.

I had a great experience here. I went in with just enough information to be dangerous (to myself) and Mello gave me great advice, actually talked me out of a couple of things and pointed me in the right direction. And the work they did made a massive improvement in my car, a Saab 9-2x Aero (Saabaru). I definitely recommend them and will be back! Thank you guys!

The have a great selections of parts for Honda, Toyota and other tuners but unfortunately they don t have the harder to find parts. Ex. Eibach lowering springs for 2012 mustang GT. Call first and ask before you spend a long wait to find out they don t have your parts. Very knowledgeable.

My review keeps getting removed so I'll write it again. Went in for clutch replacement drove away with job incomplete saying car was missing parts from beginning. After a month of waiting for them to get the "missing part" i got it myself in a matter of 3 days. The worst part of it all was they did not fully lock in a front axle leading to it being damaged and replaced. They also stole the turbo heat shield and mounting bracket from my car. Terrible experience, would never go back.

These guys are amazing and talented at what they do. I brought them my BRZ, which was in need of a serious tune for my Edelbrock supercharger, and Kevin (the tuner) knocked it out of the park. Top notch work, professionalism at it's finest. Any time I had any question, Rich and Melo would answer it. I have had other work done by them (exhaust install, headers install, ect) and I have been very satisfied. Highly recommended!!!

TLDR: There's a reason they've been around so long, go and you won't regret your build or tune. Background: 2016 STI, complete engine rebuild after a blown motor. Daily driven w/ around 430hp and tq. Miles logged 8,000.Highlights:- They're truly old-school. They all know their stuff and have intimate knowledge of the nuances of each and can speak towards brands and distribution channels concerning your build, without having to look it up online.- They stand by their work 100%. At the conclusion of my build, I took delivery and Rich noticed a drop of oil that turned out to be nothing. Without hesitation, he took it in and pulled the whole thing apart, just to be sure. He charged me nothing for the labor and even replaced a stock part without charging me, just because he thought it would be prudent.- They're not concerned with numbers, unless you are. If you're into "gains bro," you'll get it, and you'll get it better than anyone else. If you're into something you can daily and thrash at any given moment, they'll do that too. They'll hear out what your goals are and, if you take their advice, your car will beat those expectations regardless of power numbers.- You get what you pay for; let them help you pick your parts, install, and tune for them. Many people complain (generally) about prices for tuning shops. There's a reason you're looking for one: you don't have the expertise to do it yourself. This is a profession, let the professionals do what they do.- They bill "hourly," but they work way more hours than they charge you for. They know that you (probably) own a Subaru and (probably) can't afford to pay for 40+ hours of work. So they charge you 8, but they'll work on it for 80.- DIY means saving $500 today and spending $25,000 tomorrow. Pick your battles. Don't install parts yourself, like the previous highlight, let the professionals do it.- They pick their battles too. If you bring them something they don't think will work, they'll refuse to do the work. They tend to take pride in their work and would prefer to keep it at its most valuable level. That means making sure your car can drive and they're shop can keep it off the lift.- They're Subaru specialists, but they hold records for German cars too. Whatever the car, they know they're way on the Dyno. Speaking of which, they tend to give conservative readouts; other shops may give higher number estimates to make you feel better.- Timeliness isn't their specialty, but it shouldn't be. If you're looking to have a car built and tuned in a week... two... or possibly three... reframe your expectations. They only use high quality parts and tooling from places they trust. It takes time because they avoid working like a business and act more like they own the car. Everything that goes in and out of those doors has been painstakingly inspected and tested over time. That means what you get back has already been put through the paces and you can be at ease.- Rich comes from a prestigious background. Having started his career working on European exotics, Rich knows how to take something that shouldn't work, and turn it into something that will always work.- They don't know how to run a business. Running a business means profiting from your business. They're not too good at that, and frankly, they don't seem to care. I tried to pay them in stages as they procured parts for my build, and Rich seemed almost embarrassed to accept it. They don't really operate on the perspective of income, they prefer to operate as if they were working on their own car. This review may seem too good to be true, but it is true. I recommend them without hesitation and I will never use a different shop or buy any part without at least consulting them first. If they think someone else can do it better, they'll happily recommend I go check them out, even at the expense of business. I trusted them with my baby, and they handed me back a Goddess.
