The check engine light came on in my car the other day and I called this place seeing if they would be able to take a look and do any required repairs. Even though he didn't have room in his schedule to fix the car, he said he would be happy to run a scan to determine why the light came on. We drove there a few minutes later and he took care of us right away free of charge. That was a very kind thing to do and we really appreciated it. I think this willingness to help us says a lot about the type of business he runs.

I first reviewed the comments on Google for Rev it Up and was impressed. I then decided to take my Nissan Armada for a CV axel replacement, I was astonished to realize that not only Carl and Mike fixed my vehicle, but they did it at a rapid and affordable price. So if you need your vehicle serviced or repair? Take it to these professional mechanics. You won't regret it.

Had Battery changed in my Mercedes Ml350. Dealer cost for this service $461.88( Mercedes of newton) Rev it up cost $565. He added over 100$ to the cost of the battery, and charged me just shy go 200$ for a very simple task.Had oil change Done ( normal cost anywhere 150$-160$) at the dealer it s about $200. Rev it up $ 227.21. Karl says the oil for the car is over 24$ a court. Lol. It s $ 11 a court off any shelf . So he doubled the cost of the oil.Along with oil change , he topped off washer fluid 5$. No big deal. Changed one 2$ light bulb for 30$ lol. Last he plugged in his computer to clear codes due to low voltage on the battery $75. Zero issues with that $ since it s a fair charge.I ll never Begrudge anyone for making money, in fact I spoke respectfully while addressing my concerns. I respectfully paid my Bill, and made him aware why I chose him in the first place ( yelp reviews said he was reasonably priced , and a great honest guy to deal with) . Well my review: really nice guy.. pleasant to deal with. Nowhere near Reasonably priced I wanted more Done, however being floored by this places dealer priced services ( along with doubling the cost of every single part/fluid) he said air filter, and fuel filter was over 400$ just for parts ( under 200$ from dealer) plus labor, I figured I d just pick up my car. Maybe a bad day? Or maybe just took an opportunity to attempt to take advantage of someone who had trust in him being reasonable based on reviews from the community. Lesson learned here! Myself, will stay far away. Everyone else, get estimates first.Service: Battery service

This guy is honest and reasonable. I brought my jeep in because the a/c blower was not working. He was honest and said, I could fix it but it would cost me a lot, because he d have to tow it to the dealership for programming. That s IF he could get the part. Well guess what? He was right. He could have taken my money, but he did what was right.He s got a customer for life.

The guy was upfront and honest about what needed to be done and the price. Work came out great!! Best experience with a mechanic thus far. I was recently bummed about going to a mechanic after the last one (Mavis of Sparta) pulled a bait and switch and significantly hiked the price I had agreed to after all of the work had been done. ..but REV IT UP has restored my faith in good, honest mechanics! Very happy.

I am from Massachusetts spending a week in the Sparta area. My truck broke down and needed a wheel bearing in a hurry. I called Carl and he got me in and the truck repaired the same day. I haven t seen Carl in a few years but he services all my vehicles when they need repairs. It s hard to find an honest mechanic these days and Carl is one of them. He does a great job all of the time.

First class service! My Jeep acquired a brake issue which turned out to be a caliper issue. Called Rev It Up at 10am, Carl says, " drop it off, I'll check it out." I was there by 10:30am to drop it off and mentioned to Carl I also had a Engine Light on, and if he had time could he check that as well. Carl called me about an hour and half later and gave me the breakdown on both the brakes and Eng Light. By 2:30pm, I was driving away in my fully repaired Jeep. That type of service can be hard to find these days. Rev it Up will be my "go to" shop if needed down the road. Thanks again Carl.

I've been dealing with Carl for 45 years he knows what to do when you have a problem you never have to visit him twice about the same mechanical repair he's Fair competent and reliable and even during an emergency Carl will try to help see Carl be happy

Carl has repeatedly earned my business. An honest mechanic can be hard to find. We're lucky. Bonus, if it's only going to be a few hours of work there are coffee shops like Cloveberry a half mile away, Greene's Beans about a mile walk away. Bring a book and you're set.

Karl has been my main mechanic for more than a decade. He services all our cars including our kids' cars. Trustworthy, timely, efficient and always solid, reliable repairs. The best!
