Love this place! There do a great job with my car. I never had any problems with my car after they fixed it. They also finish your car in a timely fashion.

I have given these guys the benefit of the doubt one too many times. Two visits ago they left my hood open, when I got home I opened the hood and found my air filler on top of the engine! Yesterday my wife took the car in because the check engine light was on. After reviewing the bill for $955.97 one of two things happened, either they charged for work they did not do (oil change, cooling system service, anti freeze service) or they just did these things that were clearly not need. I had the oil changed two weeks ago, and the sticker was on the window. They didn t put their oil change sticker on the window, so I doubt they even changed the oil. They do have a poster detailing how honest they are, but clearly that s not the case.

Called just a couple hours before they closed and was able to go right in. They diagnosed the problem, gave an estimate prior to starting the repairs. They explained the warranty on the repairs. Service was fantastic. Can not thank Dave (Manager) enough. Would definitely recommend!!!

DO NOT GO HEREOK SO I WAITED TO MAKE MY REVIEW TO GIVE MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH QUALITY AUTOI WENT TO TO GET MY AC SERVICED ON MARCH 15 th 2024While there I asked if they replace shocks I had a set I been waiting to installDave said yes they do and sent his service guy out to inspect my partsHe said all good and took the jobDave completed the shock jobAnd then informed me that his ac chargerBroke so basically what I came in for didn t get doneAfter being charged 890.45My shocks in the back was making a noiseDropped the truck off and informed Dave of my issue three days later days completed his inspectionHe said the shocks were shot I have the voice Mail I asked him both he said yesAnd that I would have to pay them again to reinstall the parts againThis was suspicious to me so I took it to the dealer after going to the dealer they informed that the parts was good and the shock mounts just needed to be replaced and that they should have told me I needed additional parts if not on first trip then on the second inspection it should have been seenI have them replace the shock mountsEVERYTHING if fine nowI took the bill back to Dave the owner was present Dave wouldn t even talk to me and walked out the shop the owner started yelling saying that his not doing any thing about it and to talk to Dave , Dave kept walking away saying that work is not warranted I said Dave you never said this and the parts are fine you just had to order additional partsThe owner and Dave were both unbelievably disrespectful I recorded the whole thing I will be up loading it to YouTube I ll drop the linkAll in all quality auto in south orange is businesses and and honestly felt discriminated against .I

Very unprofessional! The charges on the parts and how long it takes to fix it were both wrong and it made me miss a day of work. The price they tell you upfront and the price when you go pick it up is WAY DIFFERENT. They charged me 527 to my face and then 879 when I went to pick it up.

I was lucky to find this place! They handled my tire problem in 20 minutes at a very reasonable price. Plus they were very nice.

I went for wheel alignment & oil change for my car.They performed the work in 2 hours with very Reasonable price.I recommend this place.Dave the manager was very helpful & great customer service.

Good services with good prices. I ve used their regular maintenance services, NJ inspection service, four tires change and even fixed my back bumper and light. They have done it in a good way with reasonable prices. One thing is that you might need to be patient at front desk as they can be really busy sometime.

I'm expressing myself on the facility that repair my vehicle they did tremendous beautiful job... It was not cheap because I did not wanted cheap parts I got the best parts dealer parts.. Egregiously over priced. I went to fix my radiator and they literally charged me 3x the amount it would have cost to get it fixed. They managed to find everything wrong with the car instead of what was needed. They ve charged me over a thousand dollars worth of work that was not necessary. I would advise to never go to this place.

My Prius didn t start I had it towed to their shop which I used when Ray was there but he was no longer, the new mgr told me I needed a small battery for around $325, then the car died on me a few weeks later so it was towed again to their shop thinking the small battery may have been defective yet I m told I needed the big battery, only $3000+ saving me thousands from what a dealer would charge. I Said I d think about it over the weekend, found a place that only sells batteries and it would cost $1750 on sale, so I had it towed there where after testing the battery they told me the larger battery usually lasts to 150,000-250,000miles and my car had only 96,000 miles! Nothing was wrong with my big battery! Was the smaller battery ok as well?Service: Battery

I've used this place in the past and brushed off the general curt attitude of the man who works the front desk. This time, I'm definitely done using this shop. Not only was it hard to get them to communicate about scheduling an appointment, but I show up to be told my inspection would take well over an hour because they were behind (I made an appointment in advance). The man at the front desk referred to me as "you" multiple times, gave me tons of attitude when I walked in even before giving my name and my info. Told "sit down, 15 minutes we'll get to your paperwork" - no "hello" no "how can I help you". Just told to sit down and when HE was ready he said "you, give me your paperwork"....A mechanic asked him to check out a customer ahead of me and he said, and I quote him exactly, "No - I'm doing something else". Huge lack of professionalism and customer service. There are so many other small businesses who provide the same service within a block or two.....I'll just go to them.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I have only great things to say about Quality Auto Centers! The owner Ken always greets me with a smile and gives me an honest evaluation of my car. They never try to up-sell me on anything. The prices are very reasonable and even though I moved an hour away, I still come here because I trust them. I have had major and minor fixes throughout the years and they always get me my car back in a timely manner. HIGHLY recommend!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Brought my jeep in after having a diagnostic done somewhere else. Told them what the issue was. 3 hours later they called me back saying it was done. Only thing that was done was another diagnostic. I was told my head gaskets were blown and that someone else had already put sealant in the engine so it should be fine just keep antifreeze with me because my car was still leaking. Said it should seal after a few months and if not I'll need a new engine. I took it to pep boys and that wasn't the issue it was my water pump. Not sure why the time wasn't taken to find out the problem but it is what it is.

Called this place like mins to 6 when everywhere else was telling me tomorrow they told me to come in got there quarter pass for an inspection and boom I was out of there real fast....The gentleman who work on the car I think he's Ken he was very attentive

Me and a friend needed tire service, I got a plug and he needed the tire on the rim. Our mechanic, Dave, took us in right away and got both jobs done within 15 minutes, and was very nice to the both of us. I'm only giving 4 out of 5 stars because the cashier was very rude to the mechanics as well as with people over the phone. I would try to avoid him as best as you can.Service: Tires

I've been coming here for about 12 years. When Ray and Reuben was working there the customer service was great. They'll work with you on the price etc. The owner Ken is an ass and once they left the service went down hill. They don't work with their loyal customers anymore to keep the business coming to them. The new people that work there sucks. Looking for a new place to service my car. I advise to not go to them. Convenient location but I rather travel elsewhere.After returning to Quality Auto to have work done on my daughter's car. I was pleased to see tremendous improvement in Ken's customer service skills. He definitely shows that he values loyal customers and is fair with his pricing. The mechanics there are the best. I've known them for years. Ken is willing to work with you to get the job done. I'm definitely returning to Quality in the near future.Loyal Customer

I have been dealing with this shop for over a year and I have never had a bad experience. The guys at the shop are always pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and I have never felt as if they were trying to take advantage of me. Every time I drop my vehicle off, I am contacted with details and repair options if available.As a woman, it is hard to find a decent auto shop . However, Quality Auto (South Orange) has definitely gained my trust. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants quality work done. I must reiterate that all of the staff (even the owner) have been extremely nice, helpful and professional throughout every contact I have had-which has been over 5 times with 2 different vehicles.

Very accommodating. Price for fixing a flat tire was in line, $35. Had a bit of a wait. I will probably go back for oil changes, tires if price is right. Owner was very nice.

I found the staff to be very professional and attentive to my questions about the repairs needed for my vehicle.I was not impressed with the owner. I had to schedule two appointments, and the owner wanted me to pay upfront for tomorrow service to guarantee that I would come back. I paid for the tire that I need for tomorrow but not the repairs they ve yet to perform. I was insulted. I spent a great deal of money yesterday and will spend a significant more before all is said and done. The owner needs to step aside and let the staff handle the customers. If not for the staff, I wouldn t be returning.For the staff five stars. For the owner, one.

They are so far the Best out of all auto services I have been. They are quick and always reliable and very kind to the customers. They always fix any problem I come upon with my car, plus my children's car. Love Quality Auto and all the machenics there, Ray who has been patient with me and my crazy drop off and pickup. On September 21st I took my vehicle there for a simple water pump fixed but that when my nightmare began . they went to my vehicle timing belt which they don't know nothing about it, after replacing the water pump they can't get the vehicle to start so when they did start it after a week so Dave called me from the office told me your vehicle is done asked me for my credit card to make payment when I came out the office, i heard the valves taping very loud i asked Jose at the time he the one was working on it why the valves making noise he said he doesn't have the right tool to adjust the timing he also take it for a ride came back said the vehicle stalled they hold it for one month one week that's mean i was without a car then Saturday 29th of October i went there Dave told me take your vehicle somewhere else he tired fixing it when i asked him what's wrong with it he said he doesn't know just the engine slow so i took it to another shop that's when the new mechanic guy told me after a diagnosis car burning oil interference engine contract between valves and piston in engine -timing misalignment that's mean my engine is no good for repair he wants $5000and change for a new engine to install in the vehicle i called Dave and told him he said first word what they doing with the vehicle he changed the valves the engine gasket cost him $1000dollars i asked him why the engine is slow burning oil he must done a bab job then that's when he asked me to tell my new mechanic guy to call him so he can corrupt himService: General repairs & maintenance

I've trusted Quality Auto for a couple of years now and they haven't let me down. They're very transparent with their diagnostic work and the labor. Prices are extremely fair and my car has not gone back more than once for the same significant repair. I frequently recommend them to my colleagues and any person I meet looking for a reliable service center.

I been going to quality auto center for years ever since I had my first car. Well now I have a second car and just like clock work I was in and out about 20 minutes for an inspection sticker. I pass. Thank u quality auto center

I took my car here this past weekend for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I got a call from the front office telling me my car inspection had expired back in January and that I need to get it done ASAP since I can get a hefty ticket if pulled over. Since I am a medical student who will be out of state for the next 2 months, I figured it s something I need to take care of urgently instead of getting 100s of dollars traffic ticket. They charged me $80 for a service that I have now come to learn is offered for free in East Orange next to the place you can get your auto registration renewal done. I felt their oil change, tire rotation quote was fair but I definitely feel ripped off over the car emission inspection. As a student $80 is a lot to pay out of pocket especially when this service is offered for free elsewhere!I would recommend folks to get a quote elsewhere before signing up for additional services offered by this place. I only went here since the place where I normally get an oil change isn t open on weekends anymore.Service: Oil change

Every time I have an issue with my car, I either take it in or drop it off the bright before. I have never had an issue with any repair. Ray is great at explaining things to me. They have been honest and fair with their prices. They won t sell you something you won t need and believe me, I ve asked for many things. Excellent customer service / quality.

I had the most wonderful experience with Quality Auto Center. Everyone from the owner to the staff were very professional and courteous. Also, they're very helpful and kind! I would recommend anyone to them because of who and what they stand for. A big thank you to Mr. Ken and his staff for a great job well done!
