I was in need of a great mechanic to help take care of my 2005 Buick. I know a DJ who happens to be Kin folks to the Family owned shop. The rest is history. I found All Star Motors when AAA sent one of their technicians, James, to help me with a flat. James was quick to the rescue, friendly, and really knowledgeable. I made sure to note the shop he came from for future use. When I discovered that my engine was overheating, I gave Ricky and his shop a call. The same day they replaced my water pump &patched and replaced my tire. My car was repaired &ready to go in under 24 hours! No tricks, no trouble, &reasonably priced. After trying some frustrating &shady places in Springfield, I m glad to have called Ricky s this time. Thank you to the whole team there! Although I hope I don t need repairs again soon, I know where I ll go when I do.Services: Tires, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance

The crew at All Star Motors were very professional, polite, courtesy and helpful. I took my vehicle there for a last minute oil change. They went above and beyond to fit me in and get me out of there in a timely fashion. Their prices are very affordable and the quality of work was amazing. They earned me as a lifetime consumer, thanks and I'm looking forward for my next visit.

I have been using All Start Motors for 18 years and they are excellent! They are trustworthy, reasonably priced, and will only recommend to do the work on your car that you need. All Star Motors is great. They are very straightforward. Pricing was exactly what we discussed over the phone for parts and labor plus taxes. I ve been a customer three times and they are always very fast and friendly. Their waiting area is very accommodating, featuring a series of vintage roadsters and a ping pong table if you re waiting with a friend.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Thanks for the super fast rescue! The guys at All Star Motors showed up within 5 minutes of calling when our car died in the middle of a rainstorm. They were fast, courteous and professional! The prices were on par with the other local garages. We will definitely be using them again.

Called All Star at 330 and needed a starter replacement. Not only did I receive an on spot quote, Ricky had my car towed to his shop and replaced the starter immediately! He also knocked the cost down. Very reliable and quick. Will be back!

These guys are crooks. I brought my car in for inspection and when I came to pick it up I was told I needed a new suspension. Shocks, struts everything. It did make sense though because I noticed a bit of a noise lately when driving. Ricky, the owner, quoted me $1300 for the work. I then wound up taking the car to a relative who lives in New York (he is a mechanic with his own shop) to get a second opinion. He told me it was obvious to him that the suspension was fine. In fact, he said "I think you should start looking for another mechanic in your area." He replaced my 2 front sway bar links for about $200 and this took care of the noise. Its been 15,000 miles since I went to All Star and my suspension is as good as ever.

I really dont want to write this review but I think I need to for customers awareness. They got my boyfriend to pay almost $500 for changing a serpentine belt for 1991 toyota corolla. Yes they got him. The car value is already less than $900. Other mechanics say labor and parts should only be less than $200. So sad considering my boyfriend trusted them so much.

Took my car in to All Star for engine replacement. long story short, one year later, I need a new engine. I took it somewhere else. They took longer but did a better job, took the time to perfect their work and was sooooo much cheaper and has a longer warranty time.
