They are so honest. When you show up and your problem is minor, they tell you the problem is minor. They aren t trying to get every penny out of you they can. I ve only had good experiences here. Very knowledgeable, very friendly.

Honest folks who are highly skilled and stand by their work at a very fair price. If that weren't enough, they're pleasant gents as well. They're able to fix things that leave lesser mechanics shooting in the dark. I've been going to them for auto service for over 20 years primarily after my cars come off warranty and for certain urgent situations. Always nice and quick with great quality work. Never ever seen them try to pull a fast on me or any of their customers.

The best auto mechanic you'll ever need in the Bergen/Passaic, heck, Northern NJ area, PERIODT!I've been their customer since early 2000s when I drove in a hand-me down 1992 Infiniti G20 that got a new lease on life, when I got my 2004 Acura TSX, and now they gave me a new lease on life for the said Acura at its 200k+ mileage. It shows that I really like this mechanic and that I TRUST this business to do RIGHT by me.Mr. James is the owner who's on the quiet side and Mr. Jay is the ex-teacher who's more garrulous - I really like how Jay explains everything that he's doing so that YOU understand as the customer what's happening. With those end-of-life tune ups, they NEVER tried to upsell or overpromise something crazy but recommended appropriate solutions for my old-old cars so that I can ride it relatively safely without spending a fortune, til I get a new car. One mechanic was afraid to install new batteries thinking there is other issue with alternator. I came to Jay and he's like "this is why it's not the alternator and all you need is a new battery", and voila, my car that kept not starting has been running fine for past 4 months.I really like these folks so I've introduced customers over the years and I've brought my wife here as well. They're simply the best - even when busy, they'll try to help and if too busy, will tell you when they could get to your car. As many other reviewers have said, they do not try to rip you off, offer very reasonable price, and do a GREAT job fixing your car so that you can drive safely & enjoy.I won't hesitate to recommend this GEM to all who need an honest mechanic in the North Jersey area!

The customer service is phenomenal. Jay is very friendly and always smiling. Everyone who works there is SO nice! They have the best prices and never try to rip you off or scam you. Really trustworthy place to get your car fixed. I have been there many times and have never had a bad experience.

My family won't go anywhere else for auto repairs and obligatory auto maintenence. We have been customers of Jay for years. Jay and his staff do quality work, they are honest/trustworthy, they are efficient, and the prices are fair! It doesn't get better.

Jay is extremely honest bought my truck in thinking I had transmission issues come to find out it was a loose exhaust shield making the noise great shop will always have my work done there!

Absolute go-to for anything related to your cars. Service impeccable, they are very hospitable and treat you nicely and do not try to rip you off, or suggest more changes for irrelevant parts. Everything they do is brisk yet thorough, highly recommend going here for anything and everything(i.e. oil changes, alignments, etc). Prices can't be beat either!
