I recently broke down close to shell auto repair. I pulled in, and they were MORE than helpful. They took a look at my car so quickly, and let me know what the issues were. I recently had the mentioned issues a few months back and it was repaired by another auto body. Shell auto body took the time, researched the repairs in car fax, sat with me as I called the previous autobody and were more than patient. I ultimately had my car towed to the previous auto body shop since it the repairs they made were under warranty. Although I did not have the repairs done at Shell, I would highly recommend them due to their patience and thorough explanation alone. Excellent customer service !! thank you to the team !!

I was disappointed to find the DMV inspection stations were closed today for weather. I called Somerville Shell and spoke with Sam to confirm they offer auto inspections. He also told me what he would need to complete the task. Sam was a joy to interact with, super helpful and the inspection was quick and easy. Please keep this location in mind if you need any automotive attention!

Went in for a vehicle inspection which took all of about 20 minutes - got charged $50 for an inspection sticker that is only good for 3 months. I was originally charged $60 but he knocked off $10 after I questioned him and said isn t it usually much cheaper than that in NJ? . What a SCAM! 0/10 do NOT recommend.

I brought my car in for a number of issues. The staff there was very helpful and informative on what was wrong. I called around to other places to get quotes and this place was the cheapest around. Their work was excellent and clean and my car is as good as new. I would definitely go back for any maintenance in the future. Went in for oil change and tire rotation. After the tire rotation I noticed the car has NEW noises which I didn't experience before. I went back and asked the mechanic (the owner wasn't there that day) what he thinks about that and all I got was "I don't know... I don't know... make an appointment and we'll figure it out". As a customer I do not think this is professional, I deserve better explanation even if he could just give me some rough ideas of the possible issues instead of just a blank answer.Service: Tires

I brought my car in for an inspection and also asked if they could check my car for an oil leak. The inspection was done very promptly. Additionally, they checked the leak and recommended I take my car back to the dealership so I would not lose my warranty. I appreciated their help and honesty. I highly recommend - efficient and trustworthy!

I brought my car for state inspection and oil change. Service was fast and mechanic was knowledgeable & professional. He advices based on what's best for you and your car, and not to make immediate profit. Definitely will recommend this place.

First experience- very good. got my vehicle inspection done. simple and easy.Second (mostly final) experience- One of the wiper blade was broken. They broke second one as well then then told that i ll have to leave the vehicle as they don t have the matching ones. I had to drive without wipers in mild rain. Got it from walmart. They should not have broken the second one if they didn t have a replacement. Actions were not intentional but should have been clear in communication. Not even an apology for breaking it up. simply returned the vehicle and walked away. Not professional at all.

The auto repair shop is phenomenal. I ve been to plenty of auto body shops because my car for some reason always gives me trouble. This one beats any of the ones I ve been to. The manger here, Sam takes such good care of his customers. They offer walk-in state inspections which is what caught my eye. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was really quick, the cost was reasonable and the location was excellent for me. I would definitely use them again.
