Got a last min flat & noticed it on the way to pick up my kid. Thank god they were around the corner! They were able to get me in & fix it same day even though it was at the end of the day. They suggested to replace the others...so I said sure if they had the time. The team worked together to get it done for me! I appreciate then getting it done so my daughter & I could get home, same night, safe!!! A blessing in disguise!

Had an emergency with getting tires replaced and had to come to Mavis mid-job. They were so kind and helpful. Tommy at the desk was delightful! Took my info and got it all set up no problem. Such a pleasure having my car service completed here

Great experience at this Mavis Location! Received a call as a reminder of my appointment and received prompt service upon arrival in taking my vehicle in for the scheduled service. Tommy was very friendly and it was a pleasure to witness his accomodation and great customer service even with other customers while I waited for them to complete my services.

Tommy has impeccable customer service skills. He was willing to go above and beyond to make sure my car was finished by the time I needed it back. He also made sure to keep me updated throughout the whole process. Mavis never seems to disappoint.

Excellent customer service - very friendly and professional. I went in to have an oil change and tires rotated, and despite my being about 10 minutes late they had the car done very quickly. They also tested my battery and advised that it be replaced, and I followed their advice. I was not pressured into buying the battery and am very grateful they tested it - last thing I would have wanted is a dead battery on a cold morning. I'll definitely be back.

Manager and duty was very professional with everything. While new employee was being trained, he kept on checking in when he noticed it was taking a bit longer. Got all work done in a few hours, as promised. Including brand, new tires, which was not a part of the work, but was authorized by the lease agency

I purchased my tires there about 6 months ago. I knew I was low on air in my left front tire, so upon approaching Mavis I said to myself, "self get that tire filled up now!"I intended to do it myself with their free outside self-serve air compressor, but they did not offer an outdoor air compressor. However, there was a young lady that was getting her tires filled by a Mavis employee, and I asked if he would do the same for me. He happily did so and it was a great experience.

DO NOT GET WORK DONE WITH MAVIS. Mavis put on four new tires and completed an alignment on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I called to make sure they had the tires in stock, I was told they would be there next day and they scheduled an appointment for me. Showed on the day of my appointment, and the tires were not there. Finally got the tires and the alignment completed, and went to pick up the vehicle and notices multiple deep gouges on all four of the rims. When talking to the shop manager, TK, he advised he would have to have the regional manager, Gus, review this. After a couple of days, Gus said they would refurbished rims. He advised they do this all the time and they do a great job. A week later I get the vehicle back, wheels look good. Three months later, I start to see white hazy spot on the rim. These spots were not there before they were refurbished. I returned it to the spot and TK, advised Gus will have to review again. I returned after not hearing anything after a week and half, and TK said Gus will call. Another week and half go back and no word. This time I talk to Mavis employee, JP, and he advised this is pitting/corrosion that is forming on the rim. He also said this shouldn t happen and its due to the clear coat not being properly applied. I followd back up with TK this past Monday, and he advised Gus is not going send the wheels back for a proper refurbishment due to me scratching them. THERE IS NOT ONE SINGLE SCRATCH ON THESE RIMS. They are not backing there craftsmanship. Now I am stuck with paying for refurbishment or buying new rims out of my own pocket due to Mavis.I have had multiple people me how shady and crooked Mavis shops are and I should have listened. The prices here look great, until you realize they do not know what they are doing. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE FOR MAINTANCE!

I needed to have my tires replaced for my Tesla model 3 and the tires were available and replaced same day very quickly with a great price. I m super satisfied with Samantha and her crew amazing customer service. Highly recommend.

The guys at this Mavis were so incredibly helpful! They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my slow leak was addressed and my tire was balanced properly. Thank you Tommie and everyone else!

Had a great experience at Mavis! I had to get new tires and front brakes and my car was ready within a few hours. Customer service was superb from start to finish, from the front desk employees to the service manager. Will definitely return for future car needs :).

Tommie was a great help in getting me my fresh new tires. They were originally out of the goodyear tires was but was able to get me a different brand at a discount. Service was timely and professional. I'll be coming back for the next service!

Used to be 5, but now they don t even want to work with me. Wanted an inspection of my car. Explained one problem I was noticing with clicking/knocking (I m not a professional, so I don t think I was explaining it 100% right and why I would want someone with experience to help like in the past at this place). Guy on the phone said to bring it by and they will take a look at it. I asked if this was the Somerset mavis and he said yes and seemed friendly. Guy at the front desk completely different. I started explaining the problem the same way and he says no. I said I spoke with someone that verified it was the somerset Mavis and the guy just was refusing and wouldn t let me continue talking and gave me a card for a repair shop 10 minutes away. I don t know what happened with this place. They used to at least look over the car even if they can t fix it back in 2016. Now, it seems like they hate easy money. Why they wouldn t accept it, charge me for an inspection/diagnosis when they have the tools to do so is beyond me. Not to mention, if the guy let me talk, I was also wanting to check my tires, brakes, and struts. If they needed to be changed, I would have wanted that to be done as well. The guy at the front desk denied that I talked to someone at Somerset and refused to ask if someone else answered and said I called the number from the internet and it was the corporate number I called. I didn t know New York at 732 area code numbers too.Editing my review: if someone just came out for 30 seconds, they would realize I wasn t using the correct professional wording because I m not the mechanic. I m sorry for this frustration, but why someone would say well at least take a look at it, to a flat out no we will not even look at it because it could be any number of things is beyond my comprehension of how a business operates

I have been getting my vehicles serviced at Mavis since they opened in Somerset. I went in today for an oil change and spoke with Tanner and Antoine, the manager. They were so helpful and even though they had some staffing challenges they got me in and out so quickly. I want to call out the manager, he serviced my car himself so I wouldn t have to wait. This is way above and beyond in my opinion. Thanks for the great customer service.

Very happy with Somerset Mavis. I got a flat tire in the late afternoon. I called Somerset Mavis and the man who answered the phone helped me decide what to do. A woman helped me when I got my car there and was excellent about telling me the options and keeping me informed. The employees at the Somerset Mavis made what could have been a very stressful situation a positive experience for me.

I explained to them my problem (A nail in a tire). I waited for my vehicle to enter the service area for an hour and a half.When they start working on my truck, they disassemble the 4 tires without asking me for authorization, when I clearly and i told him what the problem was. Then without asking me or telling me anything, they remove the nail from the tire, and then tell me, they can't fix it and I have to buy a new tirer, because there is no other option.Very good job, Mavis Somerset

Great Location. Antoine is extremely professional and intelligent. He solved my problem on my van that I had from another location. He really cares about the customers that come in the door. He avoids using cheap parts that wont last. I dont mind paying for a job done right wirh good parts. I highly recommend dealing with this location. THANK YOU,

Accommodated me without an appointment which I greatly appreciated. Work was done quickly and well, including other courtesy checks like tires and breaks. Better upfront communication of work timing and cost could make the service top.

I brought in my car on short notice and they were able to replace the tires quickly and at a great price. Romas in particular was extremely helpful. The whole process took only an hour or so.

Couldn't be happier with my experience here! I brought my car in to have a leak in my tire repaired and they were able to do so without telling me I needed a ton of other stuff done, like you sometimes brace for when getting your car looked at -- they just politely asked if there was anything else I needed. Friendly people, honest, fast service, fair pricing -- a great business!Edit: wanted to give a little update a few months later. I brought my car in because I was hearing a weird flapping sound, and JP not only fixed it (it was something superfluous hanging off bottom front) but also filled my tires all for free while I waited for like 10 minutes. He was so nice and this place is further solidified as my go-to!

Called with a screw in my tire and they told me to come in15 minutes which I did. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend!

The crew at Mavis on 442 Elizabeth Ave Somerset were super helpful. I got into a pretty bad accident and they helped me out immensely. I would recommend anyone to come here and get whatever service they need done!

My best friend and I were visiting from out of town when our low tire pressure light came on, another Mavis fixed our plug at no charge and sent us on our way. We got another low pressure light 2 hours after and we re in Somerville by then. We found another Mavis and they were incredibly helpful in giving us advice and fixing our tire, they even took us as their last car for the day.
