This guy should be shut down! I went to him from 2.5 hours away, each way, on recommendation s of friends. Tranny was leaking and Carb needing a rebuild. He misdiagnosed the Tranny Leak and overcharged me for a 2bbl Carb by $100. Once the car was brought home and parked in my garage, it once again leaked all over the place and in the same spot. Had to trailer the car another 2.5 hours each way he had more excuses other than taking responsibility of his own failure s. He had to take the Tranny to a REAL Transmission Specialist to remove the Pump Seal which any competent Mechanic would be able to do. He then charged my another $250 for that Mechanic s services.Here was the final straw as he charged me another $700 AGAIN for him to remove the Tranny and once again fix the leak I brought the car there for originally. I chance 3 changed 3 Tranny Seal s and it cost me $2,100 . Also, that Carb he rebuilt had to be removed and taken to another Carb Specialist to be properly rebuilt.Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from his business. He overcharges and is an arrogant, dishonest, and incapable Mechanic.Services: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning

Did a awesome job on my 55 pro street car . Had to tow it in and it left there a nasty street car. Thank you so much. His shop is a amazing clean shop. A few very nice builds going on also. He is a carb Guinness. I added some pics of my 55 and the awesome work he did. Look at the carbs turned sideways and the killer linkage setup. He is a muscle car master . Also his son is following in his footsteps. Son is learning from one of the best

I agree with feeling ripped off, and disagree with the "Christian values" and standing behind the work as purported by other reviewers. I drove my car there for work. It was not running properly minutes after leaving the shop. He came up with unreasonable explanations. To his credit, he allowed me to bring the part back for inspection. He claimed he fixed it and that the cause for that problem was external to what he did. I installed the part, my car would not start. I explained the problem, he blamed other things. My car ran well for 4 years with the way things were. Nothing changed but what he did and my car stopped running. After two chances for him to fix the problem, I went to someone else. The car runs better than it ever did. $400 wasted. No offer to split the difference, no owning up to anything. I had 3 other people waiting to hear good news to bring their cars to him. Will recommend to stay away.

Pat did a great job getting my 1967 Camaro tuned up. He rebuilt the Holley carburetor and I never knew this thing had that much power potential. Will use him again as he offers more than just carburetor services.

Greatest Mechanic I will ever meet. Also at like there is no limit to what he will do. I walked in the shop to see him doing a basic oil and brake job for a brother of his church. He casually stated this is just a favor for a friend at church. His son is also the greatest guitar player I ve ever personally met.

Pat owns this shop and is well above any other engine shop in the tri-state region.Carburetors, engines, head porting, flow bench work .. whether it's muscle cars, race cars, classic cruisers, or early antiques ... there is no one more knowledgeable in the region !!The professionalism and the care each customer gets goes above and beyond the norm.If you need anything done on your classic or muscle car (including brakes, rears, transmission work, etc) ... This is the place for you

This guy is a liar and a scam artist and the only reason he goes to church is because he rips people off for a living. Had him rebuild a small block Chevy and when I got it back and started it up it smoked and ran worse than before I brought it in... when I brought it back he blamed everything else and made up stories like the rings have to seat just drive it . When I finally had it pulled apart I saw that it was never actually honed or rebuilt even though that s what I paid thousands of dollars for. When it was brought to his attention he flipped his lid and started ranting and raving like a mad man throwing a temper tantrum. This guy and his shop are nothing but a waste of money. Highly recommend using a real service center and not a backyard poser like this sad excuse for a mechanic. Every time I went there he was arguing with an unhappy customer, I can t believe the township allows this guy to put a sign outside his garage and call it a business. STAY AWAY do not waste your time or money!

Pat Rotig totally messed up the work he agreed to do, then refused to warranty it. I feel totally ripped off. He may have been good at one time but he must be getting grumpy and sloppy in his old age. Scummy and a lier. Should have known it was gonna be that way from the beginning from the way he keeps his shop...
