My truck had no gears due to a transmission leak. Called Pete Linden and made sure they had availability and dropped it off. Received my baby back within 3 days. Told me the problem was a bad u joint along the driveshaft and swapped out the part and rebuilt the transmission. Great service

This is the only place my shop uses for transmissions,Pete is the best transmission builder out there,would recommend him for any transmission issues,the man knows his stuff, don't be fooled by cheap prices from others,Pete is honest and his prices are right where they should be. Above and beyond my expectations.My favorite mechanic retired and so I needed a place to have my daughters car towed. Pete s place was the closest to where the car was and so it made sense to take it there. He provided updates, regular communication and managed my expectations. Pete s Linden TransmissionAll businesses need to be as honest as this one!Had a problem with my Honda Crv, when it was accelerating it would hesitate and pulsate when it would shift around certain rpm. Took it to my a recommended mechanic as my normal one couldn t get me in for a couple weeks. After looking at it, he said my torque converter was bad. Recommended Pete s Linden Transmission. I called and asked about scheduling it. I dropped it off. Calls me the next morning and tells me he thinks he may know what the issue is. Recommends a transmission service which is essentially a drain and fill with the proper Honda transmission fluid. He did the service and I picked my car up the next day. Problem was gone and has been smooth driving ever since. The transmission service was $100. I was dropping my car off fully expecting to pay a $2,200 bill. He could have easily done what I requested when I dropped it off and been done with it, since technically the new honda fluid would have been added in if the torque converter was replaced. I will forever recommend this shop to anyone! 5 stars isn t even enoughService: Transmission

Pete & Pete Jr took care of my GM 4l60e problems Pete rebuilt my transmission exactly how I wanted. my truck runs smooth ,shifts smooth rebuilt my transmission better than factory highly recommend he knows what he is doing! very skilled & professional.Thank you linden transmission

Listen... i was a PAINFUL customer ill put it that way, was never rude though. Brought my 03 f150 with 200k that's been sitting for 4 yrs. Brought it back 3 diff occasions for Misc dumb stuff cause I'm a perfectionist. Each time they welcomed me to bring it back, no questions asked till it was to my liking. Their loyalty to their work and customers is unmeasurable. Good job guys

Linden transmissions is a family-owned business that treats you like family ! They have saved me both time and money over the years ! This shop is the only one I trust for both my car and truck repairs and maintenance ! WOW. WOW. WOW. No words can explain this shop. This is by far the best transmission shop I ve ever brought my 76 Corvette to.I ve been through 2 shops before I brought it to Pete s Transmission but all they did was mess up. But Pete s Linden Transmission is the best of the best. Not only do they work fast, but they have the best customer service. Very honest and professional. Now I know where to go for real and honest work.This is the kind of shop I recommend everyone to. I gave out their cards to people I work with. [Update (year later): Wow, I can't thank Pete and his guys enough. Solid guy that keeps a solid shop. Reputation means everything to this man, as it should, but sadly you can't find alot of trustworthiness or quality anymore in work or products alike these days. If you live nearby, go to Pete's! If there's ever a problem, sorry but not sorry, you're probably an @$$hole lol]I wanted to give it a bit of time at least before reviewing for the sake of whoever reads this. Took my 2012 Malibu (6t40 trans.) to Pete's about a month ago after putting it off for some time. There is certainly a lot to be said about a shop even just via the phone call. Pete and his guys were nothing but kind, reassuring, and professional. The cost was definitely right. It took a week initially, but then we ran into a computer reset issue that turned it into 2 weeks.. Oh well . Transmission work takes time, and sometimes we need to realize that it's just as frustrating/stressful for them as it can be for us as customers. Pete thanked me for my patience and him and his guys made sure it was 100% before giving it back. They did a couple other things too since i had to wait longer. Nothing too big really, but it's the gesture and it didn't go unrecognized.. so far so good, no issues since. Thanks again Pete and crew! My expectations were met and I'll definitely be back, if and when needed.

What a great experience!! I called Pete after talking to numerous shops about a rebuild. He talk to me like a friend and recommeneded a replacement instead of rebuild since I planned on keeping my truck. He ordered the replacement and had my truck back to me in less than 2 days!! Everyone else promised 3 days to 2 weeks. Truck runs like a dream now. I'll be recommending Pete to all my friends and family from now on!

I took my Honda Accord to the Dealership & they recommended ALL of the following:1) Possible adjustment / possible Rear Cam: $200 to remove Valve Covers & Inspect and $400 adjustment.2) Power Steering Flush = $1453) Blake Flush = $1404) Battery Replacement = $1755) Front Brakes Replacement = $3006) Wheel Hub/Bearing = $4307) Serpentine Drive Belt = $130I took my car to Pete's for a full inspection after being recommended by a family friend that he was quick, thorough, and 100% trustworthy. Everything checked out FINE. The ONLY work needed was to "replace one Wheel Hub/Bearing" for $285.I never write reviews, but, I had to in this instance. Pete Sr. & Pete Jr. were GREAT. Not only did they save me $1,600, but, I felt 100% confident they would find & fix the ONLY issues & price accordingly. I've been searching for a trustworthy mechanic for a very long time & finally found it. I will never take my car anywhere, but, Pete's from here on out! Thanks, Pete!!

Went in for repair on transmission although I haven t gotten the vehicle back yet , I feel confident that they will do a great job just by the conversation and explained understanding . Pete is great! He fixed my axles and a blown drive shaft. Quick work and really reasonably priced. I send anyone who needs work done to him and I ve only heard good feedback from them! It s hard to find someone you trust to work on your vehicle and it s great to have finally found someone.

Why I chose Pete's Linden TransmissionsI was having CVT Transmission problems, and all of a sudden, car would go into gear but would not drive. I researched the issue for 3 weeks and did everything I knew how to do...Throttle body, flush and fill, fuse testing, neighbors and online mechanics consultations... It needed a new transmission.I researched transmission shops for several days, and decided to use Pete's Linden Transmission based on their online ratings, and the over phone personality and knowledge they demonstrated as I called around getting quotes.Their quote was right in line with all the other local transmission shops (I did not get dealer quotes as they tend to be much higher), and not only did they honor the quotes "All In" price, I told him there was a leak on the oil pan that I had the parts for (I had the pan, gasket, oil and filter in the trunk) and they replaced it for me without an additional fee.Pete's quote was what it was, but it was "all in". What I mean by that is Pete stated that the price included everything when he quoted me, and that would be all that it was. Other shops gave quotes with a range, not a firm price and that always makes me skeptical.They have been in business for over 30 years, treated me like family, and lived up to the 5 star rating they have earned online.I would definitely use this shop again and recommend them.Service: Transmission

Took here once to find out why my van was slipping, owner told me I needed a rebuilt trans for 1800. I wanted a second opinion so I took it to gerre's in Glassboro and he fixed whatever was wrong for $400. Sadly gerre is retired now but I hope the owner of this place is done screwing people over

What a great shop, Pete was able to fix my 1993 Cadillac Allante s transmission when no one else seem to be able to do so. Great service and reasonable rates. This is a Five star shop with friendly people and that is hard to find these days. Thank you PeteService: TransmissionService: Transmission

Just had my transmission rebuilt by Pete that another shop nearby supposedly rebuilt 20 months ago. Pete told me what the other place did and didn't do, I wish I knew of this place then. Pete totally rebuilt my trans this time the right way and provided me with pictures, he was also pretty disgusted with what the other shop did and didn't do to my trans. Pete was a pleasure to deal with, took the time to explain everything to me in detail. It hard to deal with having to pay to have a transmission rebuilt twice in 20 months but I know it was done right this time. I highly recommend Linden transmissions. Thanks Pete!

I am so impressed!! He saved my son literally thousands. Aamco wanted to take trans out and take it apart. Pete replaced the pan gasket and was fine!! Great Guy too. I send everyone there!!

EXCELLENT!!!!. After searching on a Sunday for a good transmission repair shop I found Linden Transmissions on the web and none of their reviews were below a 4. Had my 2008 Pontiac G-6 towed there on Monday at 8:00 fearing the worst as the transmission cooler lines had sprung a leak. The owner Pete called me at 8:30 confirming I needed 2 new transmission cooler lines and that was all. Transmission was not damaged! While there I had them replace a broken motor mount and the car was ready by 5:00 that night. We all know transmission shops are known for steering clients into having the trans rebuilt when all was needed was a simple part but you cannot go wrong taking your car here. Excellent service Pete.

Took my car to Linden Transmission Fearing the worst when my car would not shift into reverse. Pete the owner evaluated the situation And suggested adding a solution to my transition to soften up the rubber Parts in my Transmission. The solution worked Great, so far no problems. From a possible $800 to $1500 of work Pete only charged me $30 for his service.
