Everything was amazinggg!!! We were party of two and had a reservation at 7.30pm. We get seated directly. Our server Nick was really attentive. He gave us really good recommendations about food. Enzo and Nick are the best servers! They are really thoughtful. Our water and bread needs were given frequently.Definitely recommend them! We were celebrating my friend s graduation and they made her feel really special which was really nice. Food came out really quick. We got bolognese and risotto scampi. Everything was delicious and fresh. Definitely will be there again!

It was our first time to have dinner in La Finestra,we were curious about the place, and loves Italian cuisine. We like the place that we can see the outside (ocean views) but later it gets loud, you need to speak louder. I like the food on special. But i recommend to get the Caprese salad, was so good and fried mozzarella cheese. Thank you and stay safe everyone. Open all year.

First, we had one of the best tables. Fantastic view overlooking the ocean. Appetizers were grilled octopus & burrata. Both were extremely well done, full of flavor. My wife has the black cod special and absolutely loved it. Risotto was cooked perfectly and fish was plentiful. I had veal francais, which was simple, but pretty good. Veal was tender, but the sauce tasted like creamy lemon. The service was pretty good, considering it looked like the poor girl had the whole room. One thing to consider is bringing a couple extra dollars, 160 for 2 of us. 3 courses, but no drinks, that is a bit high.

Dining last weekend at La Finestra, the experience was as stellar this time around as it was my first two visits to this exceptional Italian restaurant, located in the very heart of Sea Isle City. The hecticness of it being a busy Saturday night didn't deter the kitchen from producing outstanding dish after dish: Roasted Long Hots stuffed with ricotta and wrapped in bacon were a delicious confluence of heat and salt tempered by the creamy cheese filling. My wife's veal piccata was the perfect rendition of the dish, and my halibut steaks (2) grilled to perfection, served atop toothsome risotto and asparagus with tender crab meat in a saffron cream sauce was truly a memorable repast. We loved being served complimentary chilled limoncello with the Irish Cream gelato affogato enjoyed at dessert. Our table could not have been attended to any better - Katie and Enzo are the perfect team. Both offered appreciated suggestions. Too, the other peripheral staffers always kept plates cleared and waters filled. As stated, it was very busy, so the 20-minute wait was expected at prime time on a Saturday night. The gentleman host was understandably hard pressed as he kept taking guests up to their tables and then rushing back down to retrieve the next round of guests. Unfortunately, he wasn't attempting to conceal those challenging efforts - his was the only frowny face in an otherwise hospitable haven. No matter. The rest of the visit, from start to finish, was otherwise outstanding. We love La Finestra. Kudos to the team there.FYI's - Call well in advance to (try and) request a window table. Remember, in warmer months the street parking is metered.BYOB

I came here on a solo date for my birthday. Food and service was excellent, I had the arugula salad and blackened cod over risotto which was delicious. My waitress Elizabeth was so sweet and attentive. They even threw in a complimentary shot of limoncello. However, I was pretty bummed that the restaurant was not able to honor my original reservation. I specifically requested outside seating but they apparently overbooked. I also arrived early for my reserved time of 7:45pm. My table inside was OK but not what I expected. Good experience overall.

We were a small table of 5 and every plate that was ordered was amazing! The service was spot on, fast and professional. We arrived a little late in the day to see the beautiful view of the ocean. The restaurant is called La Finestra (the window) for a reason! For the views and for the view to our gastronomic souls. Didn't get to take photos of our food. We gobbled it as soon as it was served! Definitely recommend!

Excellent new ocean view restaurant! Delicious food, wonderful ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fine dining at the shore. Located on the second and third floors, with stairs and elevator access. I took photos of my appetizer and dessert and forgot to do so for my entree, but it was worthy of a photo also. A new and better experience at the shore - not your typical shore restaurant, much, much better. We are looking forward to our next experience there.

Started out with a waiter who's name we did not get. Appetizer came out quick. But after that our waiter didn't even stop by to check on us or let us know the status of our entrees. We had no interaction with him from this point on.The hostess walked by after a while and asked us how everything was, thinking we already ate and had our plates cleared which says a lot. Then the day was saved by another waiter, Tim. Tim was not our waiter but he realized our waiter decided to ignore us. So he stepped in and let us know our food was on its way. From that point on Tim made our experience much better. And the food was very good. We waited almost an hour for our food, but when we needed a to go order, Tim put it in and it was out in 10 minutes. Overall, good food but definitely ask for Tim as your waiter! Not sure what the deal with the other guy was.

* We had reserved a table for 7, and they seated us at a table for 4 by the intersection, with 7 chairs. We had to ask for another table.* Salmon and potatoes were bland, but other dishes were good.* Calamari and spinach was excellent.* The server was aloof but attentive enough.* Had to ask 3 times for a beverage.* Long wait for entrees.* Manager was welcoming and attentive.

The food was genuinely delicious. All of the meals we ate were wonderful. The portions were a bit too small for the prices, though It's a crowded restaurant, which isn't generally a big deal but I feel like they are understaffed. The service was good, don't get me wrong, but for what you pay, I really believe it was a bit lacking. Good, but not great. I think our main waitress was overwhelmed. We felt rushed.

Ate here last night and everything was amazing from start to finish. I ordered the pear salad which I think was the tastiest salad I ever had in my life. Then I had the Pappardelle with chicken which was also amazing. My boyfriend ordered the Mahi Mahi special which was served with lump crab meat over risotto and he was so glad he went with the special. We topped it off with some deserts, Creme Brule & Chocolate Mousse. Both amazing. The service was top notch as well. Yes its expensive, but it's "fine dining" so it should be expected. Definitely a home run at this place. My bf & I are new to the area & this is the first resturant we tried and to be honest I told him I don't think I even want to try anything else this was just that good. A must try! Sorry I didn't take any pictures as we were too busy indulging!

Had a very memorable meal last night. Started with a mussel appetizer in red sauce. The broth was sssooo good. I wanted to drink what was left in the bowl. Main course was the pasta special with scallops, crab and shrimp in a cream sauce. So flavourful. Best meal I've eaten for a long time. Can't wait to go back.

my favorite restaurant in SIC! brought my girlfriends here for the first time to celebrate one of them getting engaged and they all loved it. Enzo was amazing and brought our dining experience to the next level- finding us champagne glasses, complimentary limoncello shots, and just so friendly. goes without saying that the food was phenomenal. don t forget that it s BYOB!

I feel like this place has potential, but I was definitely disappointed. We got the seafood linguini with white sauce and a veal chop. The mussels and clams on the seafood were cold. I also don t know what happened to the mussels because they were shredded apart inside the shells, definitely not cooked properly. The veal chop was suppose to be medium and was well done. It also was not hot when it came, I d say luke warm. We are also seated right next to the hostess, so people were literally hovering around us and coordinating their dining while we were trying to relax. The server was good, but looked overworked. I was watching her run with what seemed to be little support. In a nutshell the restaurant has potential, but I definitely won t be back.

The food was good even though portions were small. We asked to share an entree and rather then split it in the kitchen we had to do it at the table. Involved pasta so it was messy. When the server heard our order even though we got appetizers too, she became very distant and her attitude changed. She didn't check on our table during rhe meal and was super attentive to the other tables where more food was ordered. Very disappointing.
