I had a great experience here and I definitely will be coming back. After my Honda dealership quoted me over $400 for a transmission and break fluid replacement for my 2020 Civic, I knew right away I was being overcharged. I took the car to Tony s where I was charged half the amount Honda quoted me for. Dave was so kind, answered all my questions and did all the work on my car in almost under an hour. I will be recommending them to anyone else who needs repairs done on their Honda or Acura!

I recently brought my Honda CRV to Tony's repair after experiencing the notorious VTC actuator engine noise on cold startups a common issue among Honda Accords, Civics, and CRVs. The team at Tony's not only diagnosed the problem swiftly but also provided a comprehensive solution that has my car sounding brand new again.

Just called to ask a question about my vehicle. The person who spoke to me was extremely rude, disrespect and angered me. I'm not even a customer here, just called to ask a simple question about my vehicle and that's how he talks to you with raising his voice and cursing at you and I can't even begin to imagine how he would be like if you actually paid as a customer to get your vehicle repaired. As countless other people on these reviews have stated this place is a complete rip off and they are not honest one bit at all. I'm going to report this place to the better business bureau for the way I was treated over the phone. This is absolutely NOT acceptable or appropriate by any means whatsoever.

been here a couple of times and they have always been honest and fair. All good mechanics have an attitude so don't get offended if you ask dumb questions. Tony is known as the Honda doctor for a reason.

"Honest Tony" we call him. We've been using him for years. Even though we moved a half hour further away, I still use him. They are very experienced, and the only advise you on what you really need. They don't try to up-sell you in every breath like the dealership service departments. Fair prices and good workmenship. They are always busy, which tells you how good they are. The location is easy access from I-78, New Providence Rd near the Weldon Quarry. and US22 westbound by McDonald's, across from Scotchwood Diner. Easy access for flatbed or towing. They are worth the trip & wait in my book.

Don't go to this place. The owner Tony and David are rude and totally unprofessional. They will rip you off without offering any apology.I had my 2015 MDX serviced there several times. First a few times were all right. Regular stuffs like oil changes and breaks. Then the last time, I had noise and vibration in the bottom of my car. David said replacing the front struts will solve the problem. I listened and paid more than 1000 dollars for the job. After the job completion, the noise and vibration still there, nothing changed. Naturally, I was looking for explanation. Later I know that front struts for 8 years old MDX is not necessary. And these two people were rude, denied any wrong doing, and asked me never come back. Surely I understand everyone needs to make a living, but do it with your honor and integrity, don't act like a mob and rip off your customers. Unfortunately, auto mechanics have plenty of these kinds of stories. Of course, I will never go back for their service again. These people are not worth it.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Dont trust anyone else but them with my hondas.dont trust those negative reviews I have been there more than a dozen times with different vehicles for even my family and not once have ever been steered the wrong direction.yes they might be pricier than some independent shops but in the end you get what you pay for I rather pay the extra few bucks to know my wife and family are driving in a car that's going to stop and go as it should.

Have done major maintenance (timing belt, spark plugs, brakes, coolant flush, etc.) at Tony's last few years. Very reasonable prices and top notch work with OEM parts. I have had some issues with dealer services in the past (over torquing a oil drain plug then charged me for a new drain plug, claimed to "fix" something but not really fixed anything, repairs not on time, etc.) but not at Tony's. After this major, timing belt service, my '14 MDX is smooth and quiet as ever. Plus, if something is not really needed, they will tell you. Thanks Tony and Dave!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the best place for service & Repairs. I've been going to Tony's Honda for over 25 years and they've taken great care of my 3 Honda Accords. They are fast, friendly and knowledgeable regardless of the year car you have. The prices are reasonable. They explain in detail to you about the work or service needed with price prior to performing any service. I never have to wait longer than an hour for an oil change or service. The newly renovated waiting area is clean as well as the bathroom. I highly recommend Tony's to all my friends and family.

I have a Honda Element and have spent a lot of money trying to get the check engine light and Stalling to stop. I brought the car to Honda & Acura Repairs By Tony and everything was fixed the first time around. Tony and his employee Dave knew my car and having running great. They only use honda parts which makes them a little pricier then shops that use secondary parts but it was worth it to me. The other benefit was in the past I usually have to call the mechanic a few times to find out the status of my car. Every time I have dropped off the car at night Dave calls me the next morning with the diagnosis price and when the car will be done. My peace of mind was worth the price. I would have actually saved money going to Tony 2 years ago but I am glad I found them now.

If you own a Honda, you should go to Tony's. Tony and his staff will give you the straight talk that you wish you could get from every other mechanic. They consistently undercut the prices other mechanics give me for maintenance on my vehicles, or better yet, inform me that no work needs to be done. Tony's is the best. I will never go to another mechanic for work as long as I live within a couple hour's drive.

Been going to Tony's for A WHILE ... since the 90's... always goes above and beyond with his diagnosis and repairs. He's not trying to over sell his customers either. if anything, he's just the opposite. he looks out for you and your vehicle. Highly recommend Tony for your Honda and Acura repair & maintenance needs. He delivers great results.

They are the best mechanics. Honest and straight to the point. They will tell you what you need or dont need. Bennett going to Tony Honda with all my Honda cars for 12 years now, and now that I live farther away I still take the travel to take my car to them.

We had our car towed here just recently. They rudely refused to fix what they "thought may be wrong" until we did another $200 service first. The actual price of that service elsewhere was less than half and not necessary. Another shop found and fixed what was wrong in less than an hour! Don't use them, rude and extremely overpriced.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. BIG EGO. I called in the am and explained to Tony I have a 2014 Honda Civic that needed an entire 3rd Brake light assembly. (Not A Bulb). He said ok call back in 1hr and I'll have a price. Called back in an hr. Then he tells me you just need a bulb no need to change the assembly. I told him that the dealer diagnosed the problem and said I needed the entire assembly. I was hoping Tony would give me a lower price than the dealer. Then he tells me to bring the car down. I said I have no time, I already told you what the problem was. He then say's if you don't want to bring the car down then why don't you just take it to the dealer. The professional answer would have been to quote me the price and labor like he first committed to then I could decide if his price was lower, then give him the business. In place of good customer service, Tony put his ego first. I ve tried to bring my business there in the past but Tony has a take it or leave it attitude. Finally when I asked is this how you conduct your business. His reply "YES"!

So this "Abhi Deut" writes the exact same (poor) review on yelp using a different name. Makes me think twice about the reviewer. As for Tony I have been going to him since ~1987 and he has always treated me fairly. More than fairly. I have had three Hondas since 1987 (about 400k miles total) and I always go to Tony when feasible. When I lived in PA (mid-90s) I went to Tony despite the two hour drive after the local repair shop completely botched a simple brake job.Tony is loyal to Honda and always uses genuine parts. They may cost a bit more but the labor rate is fair so the total price is reasonable. It did actually help me with my CRX many years ago when Tony knew the replacement muffler (not the original muffler) has a lifetime warranty. Tony is better than market rate, and much better than the dealerships.

Tony has taken care of our Hondas for almost 20 years. His shop has always given us good value for our money.

Today I had the unfortunate opportunity and have my car repaired at Tony Honda. Where do I start they charge me $325 for a starter $200 for labor and when I ask for the part back so I can get the core money back for the part I paid for it I was told know that they're returning the part because they have to get $150 back. So basically I paid $325 for a starter that should have cost me $175 how she did it was I.

Dealers are rip off (generally speaking). Personally, I believe in supporting local business.Tony s Honda is a rip-off/ unethical and awful/ rude customer service.Depending on miles on ur car and your knowledge ..auto service mkt is a competitive mkt and one can cherry pick diff. type of service centers based on ur vehicles need.

I'm on my 3rd Acura. Dave can be a bit tart sometimes but make no mistake about it. He knows his stuff. They always keep my baby running good.

This post is about Tony as a person based on interactions w/ him as a potential landlord - he owns the bldg w/ retail shops and rental units on top behind his shop. The bottom line is that he is a bad tempered, racist foul-mouthed man who has no business being a landlord. Having read the reviews here, there's def some commonalities and it's obvious we're dealing w/ the same person. After booking movers, I went to do a walk-thru and saw that neither he, nor the realtor (of Emma realtors), had bothered to walk thru themselves after the previous tenant moved out. But whatever stain/scratch was pointed out, his response was 'that's nothing. easy fix. what's the big deal?' The realtor convinces him to hire ppl to clean and paint the place. On the 2nd walk-thru, I'm looking around and asking questions. When I reiterate that somebody should've inspected the place, Tony gets defensive 'you saying this is my fault?!?'... twice. (yea, you and/or realtor). Whatever, I'm ready to sign and get this over w/. While in a diff room, I hear him say 'I don't want to rent to this *effin* guy anymore'. I ask if he's referring to me. He says yea, and starts cursing me out. (Mind you, if he'd kept quiet for 2 min, lease would've been signed). As I'm walking out (since he opened the door to throw me out), he just can't stop himself and says 'I'm Italian. I don't rent to no *effin* chinese.'Btw, the $100 moving deposit I lost - he was gonna take that from previous tenant even tho that's 100% his fault. I guess it's for the best knowing that I dodged a bullet living as a tenant under that psycho. Still, money lost, stress, frustration and horrible memories of dealing w/ such a nasty person.

Very knowledgeable about Honda vehicles. They use only Honda original parts. Known for being honest and fair about pricing and they don't make stuff up about what needs to be repaired.

Great work at a reasonable price. I got my 03 and 07 Odyssey fixed there. I recommend you go there before you go to the dealer.
