PERMANENTLY CLOSED AND GOOD RIDDANCE. ANSAR REALLY HAD ALOT OF PROBLEMS RUNNING THIS BUSINESS. HE COULD NOT ACQUIRE GOOD MECHANICS AND HE WAS ALWAYS LATE WITH OPENING THE SHOP TOO. PERSONALLY I FEEL HE WAS PREJUDICE AS WELL. HE MAINLY CATERED TO HIS OWN BIG POPULATION IN THE AREA AND TOLD OTHERS HE WAS TOO BUSY TO ACCOMODATE YOU. AFTER A FEW TIMES I FINALLY GOT THE HINT AND NVER RETURNED. HE WAS NOT AN HONEST MAN.

Zero. I when in to get a new muffler installed, the next week the new muffler fell off my truck on the highway. Smh. I asked the main person that is there all the time "Ansar" why didnt the mechanic weld the muffler together. His answer was the mechanic did not know the muffler and tailpipe was suppose to be welded. They just put it together and left it loose smh. The receipt "Answar" wrote me said muffler labor and the date, hand written. I had to ask for a reciept. I was skeptical about bringing my truck to punjab indians because they have a reputation to do shabby work, rip you off and they cannot be trusted with your vehicle. The only reason I went there is it is close to my house. Please save your self the trouble and hassle. Go to Professionals to have your car repaired not to Punjab. They smell of rip off!! Update:Took the vehicle back in to get the muffler put back on and its loose and rattling every bump i go over. Took it to Mavis and had them look at the Muffler and they and said it was a horrible job. Stay away from this place. They charge too much and give shabby work. Very dissappointed! New update... They also rotated my tires when the did the muffler work. 2 days ago while I was driving my rear passenger wheel fell off the car. I almost lost my life. This place is a big RED FLAG. Stay away. They dont like giving reciepts either. When you ask for one "Ansar" scribbles a vague descrition of work done. Just SMH how these people are allow to stay in business. STAY AWAY

I had a great experience at this mechanic shop. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they took care of my car quickly and efficiently. I had a great experience at Punjab Auto Repair. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, they explained all the necessary repairs my car needed and the cost involved. please be aware from this thief, his name is Ansar. He lie on everything . i took my car to him to fix Ac . he charge me $125 for diagnose . after completing Diagnose he said ur car need condenser and i will charge you $ 500 for part and labor.... Guess what i took my car to another mechanic and he lifted my car and showed me the wire of the compressor was off.. means this guy took off my wire of compressor to scam me for $500... then he said ur oil panel need to be replace i will charge you $700... other mechanic order 1 bolt for $15 and issue resolve... don't go to this place... they are very evil and liars there...they always find one opportunity to scam you ... I am reporting his business to all departments where i can so he would think 10 times next time to scam anyone ....

I used to go here all the time. They don't lie to you, and the prices are fair. If they know you, they'll do you a little favor from time to time. The only issue I had with them is that when multiple things were wrong with my old car, They'd only tell me about 1 or 2 things at a time. Seems like they don't like giving customers bad news. The thing is that I wasted money fixing up a car that I should have let go of sooner.

Great place! They're quick efficient and reasonably priced. The staff is very nice and know what they're doing. I go here all the time for everything and not once have I had a bad experience. Recommend this place to everyone! The owner is extremely nice and honest and will stop at nothing to make sure your car is ok.

I am not happy with responding from owner. I used to go there for car oil change and other issue. One day my car tire is almost flat on route 9 on the way to home, I stopped by punjab auto shop to get air for the tire because punjab auto is familiar to me, but the owner said, go to gas station to get air for the tire. It is not good reply for regular customer.Service: Tires

Amazing service great atmosphere very friendly ! Only place in town I take all my cars they are efficient and tell me exactly what the problem is and repair quickly. In fact the owners are so nice they even dropped me home rather than make me wait a couple hours for the repairs. Overall just superb service !

Went there to balance my tires and they did it even worse. I asked to fix it and they said that it's because my rim is bad and they can't do anything and refused to return money. I asked to take new weights off and bring the tires to condition it was before and they took all - new and old ones off. Now my tires totally unbalanced. Very frustrated with this place! Never go there!

I am so glad to find this auto repair shop. Friendly yet Professional Mechanic. Highly supportive on Post Repair Visits.I have been living in this area for more than 10 years and I own 2 cars, one Japanese and One German both around 10 years of age. We do need auto work done on a regular basis. We have some mom n pop auto repairs in the are. They are most rip offs. We did not have any decent size reliable auto repair shop with professional mechanics. Reliability becomes the most important factor in any auto repair business. I want to be able to leave my car at the shop without thinking for a minute that I will be ripped off. In addition to that, post repair support is the most crucial for me. I have noticed with most shops that the moment you leave the shop with your car, they seem to forget you and your car. You come back as a total stranger. Not with these guys, I got the same smiley welcome and the manager is quick to apologize if there is anything left to be tested. I got special favors like a ride home in case I have to leave the car there and don't have a ride.I almost always order my parts online due to cost parts for my German car. I almost felt guilty that they had to hold a lift for me waiting for me to bring a replacement part. They could have easily charged my for the extra lift charges. Did not...Thank you Punjab Auto. I am your customer forever.Highly recommended!

Good for oil changes but not brakes. They will say something else is wrong with your car to just get more money for something that your car doesn't need. Example, brakes pads are worn down to the scraper after less than a week if driving....you also need new rotors. Yep, didn't need them at all. Good to have a mechanic friend to tell you the truth.

These punjab in parlin NJ sold me a car, told me everything was fixed and it wasnt. By the second day of driving battery died completely,had to call AAA to replace battery and now two days later again I find out my brakes are done.They are thieves in disguise,. They refused to give me my money back. Dishonest people. They smile at you for the money soon as they get the money it's a whole new attitude. Very unprofessional. I am so disgusted and done with them .

I brought my car in to get an oil change, 2 new tires and for them to inspect a knocking sound. When they called me to give me the costs like I asked, I was told that the sound was coming from something under the car and that they wouldn't charge me for it. So after agreeing to move forward with the work, when I went to pay and pick up car, he asked me if I was aware that a VALVE WAS BENT?? I told him absolutely no. Keep in mind that this was AFTER I paid him for the work (which I would have never approved of of I knew my engine was on the verge of blowing!!!This was a grimey move on their part and I refuse to ever return.BE WARNED THAT THEY WILL MAKE THEIR DECISIONS BASED ON PROFIT AND NOT MORAL DECENCY.

The best part of this auto repair shop is for urgent and quick repairs they don't make you take appointment. They will do the job quickly.our car battery went down. And we wanted to change it.. rest all carrepair places asked us to leave the car for the day.it was a 2mins job.Punjab auto repair did that for us

Always ready to take a customer in! The walk-in service is quick and amazing. Most places keep going waiting even with an appointment. Punjab is fair, honest and gets you in and out with ease. They are not trustworthy at all I took my car to them for power steering pump change because it was making a little noise but working fine so they gave me an estimate which was reasonable but I dont know what they did to the pump, while I was driving back to home I couldnt turn my steering and almost got into an accident they didnt took the responsibility and once they punctured my engine oil line and it almost seized the engine. They are very irresponsible please avoid them if you can.

I had squeaky noice coming from my car and got it fixed by replacing the belt and in next two days it came again and this time they said you have to get new pulley and new belt since the belt you got replaced two days ago was stretched, so I got both replaced and I'm still getting that noice. Spent more than $400. Not worth it. Really bad service.

Came because my vehicle was making abrupting and annoying sounds due to weakened bearings. One of the mechanics sat in the car, drove it around and quickly told me the issue, as well as showed it to me on the lift. Got the job done quickly. Friendly staff, upright and honest. One of the best places to visit if in need of a tune up or even something as simple as an oil change. Ask for Ansar, he'll take care of you. 5/5.

If i could I would give the negative. Brought my car to get my tire and brakes fixed. I get it back and its worse then before. Then they hooked it up to the computer to check and that one guy tells me its the transmission. Then he tells me to drive around and see if its good. Im like really so I left. Very unprofessional and not knowledgeable. Stay away!!

Part changers and nothing more. Quality of work is questionable. Lousy diagnostics. Insisted on changing wheel hub. $350 later - problem didn't go away. If you need to change oil, brakes etc - they're ok, I guess. Anyone else in the area - too. But for ANY real diagnostics - stay away or prepare for unnecessary expenses.

My uncle took his Hyundai to get an oil leak checked. They said the head gasket needs changing. So he decided to let them do the work. He got the car back and now it has major engine issues. He took the car to another mechanic and was told who ever did the head gasket didn t align the timing chain. So that threw the engines timing off causing one of the pistons to fail (engine knock) and also the chain is cracked in one link. So the engine either needs to be replaced or be repaired which can cost more than $800. Stay away from this place in regards to major work, which requires brains and mechanical skills.
