I worked with both Shane and Ralph to purchase my 2010 Honda Element. They are both fantastic down to earth people. The biggest plus is the vehicle. I love it. Fantastic shape and a fair price.Check them out.

So after a couple of weeks of having the car I bought from this dealership, and finally getting the plates on it yesterday I figured I would finally make an honest review. My girlfriend s Pontiac G6 kept being an unreliable piece of garbage so we had to pretty much get her another car. We found a nice 2013 Mazda 3 I Touring automatic with around 134k miles on it online and travelled from PA to their dealership in Sayreville, NJ. The car was in very good exterior and interior cosmetic shape! It was clearly cleaned and detailed at some point because there wasn t any dirt or hair, just the smell of dog so we figured out pretty quick what type of person the previous owner might have been. The car had no CEL on, or any warning lights besides a low key fob battery. Car needed tires which we replaced couple days after, car drives like a dream on the highway. Battery was dead on inspection though before we started the entire car itself, but they had a new one ordered and installed in under 1 hour while we were doing all the paperwork, so efficient! Overall, Ralph the salesman and Shane the finance salesman were very patient and took their time to help service me and my girlfriend while we filled everything out. We appreciate everything and even being able to let us take home the car that same day after easily being approved for financing. All the negative 1 star reviews I m reading about this place really make it look bad, and some have valid arguments and reviews while others majority don t, so take anything like you so in life with a grain of salt until you experience it yourself. In all honesty though I CANNOT give this place anything but a 5 star, because the service, and car after were 10/10.

I bought a 2012 Toyota Tacoma Access cab. I had been looking for one for over a month. Best Choice had one in phenomenal shape, at very fair market value, and for a small down payment, they held the vehicle for over a week until I was able to see it. They even threw me the keys and let me take it for a spin alone. Several months late, and the truck is running great. Shane and Ralph were great to work with.

Purchased a 2018 Hyundai Elantra from this dealership last month. No pressure, fair price and only a $399 dealer fee (we had been to other dealers with thousands in extra fees)They had just put a new alternator in it, but the battery (the original Hyundai one) was not holding a charge. We replaced the battery, issue fixed, and without asking, they wrote us a check for that expense when we picked up the plates.Besides that, the car drives fine. not like new, but it IS a 5 year old Hyundai ! Have reasonable expectations and i do not think these guys will let you down.

My 11 "thumbs-up" indicates others have had a similar experience to mine. Bump.Find a good mechanic and a good attorney before considering buying a car here. Look at the reviews -- this shop has earned a LOT of angry customers. Undependable, unreliable, inconsistent, no follow-up, no respect for your time. Just lies, deflection, delays and the worst "warranty" I've ever even heard of.EDIT: in case Best Choice tries to comment on this review, NO they never offered to take the car back; Eddie explicitly refused to take the car back. NO I didn't "drive the car for weeks" overheating - THE CAR OVERHEATED ON MY WAY HOME.NO they never offered to repair or even look at the car. Every interaction was a bad-faith gesture to make it seem they were doing something about the $5k in repairs the car needed. NO they never sent an estimator to look at the car. NO the car wasn't "driven hot" any longer than it took for me to bring it to a gas station to put coolant in it somewhere in NJ. NO it wasn't inspected in NJ before I bought it. NO I'm not confusing this dealer with another dealer. NO I'm not adlibbing the texts from Eddie, these are the exact words he texted me.Review:My Jeep overheated ON THE WAY HOME from this dealer. Eddie texted me "Thermostat is locked". I changed out the thermostat and filled up the coolant. Three weeks later, the car had consumed a gallon of coolant - an indicator that the head gasket was blown and coolant was leaking into the combustion chamber. I brought it to my mechanic, where it spent the next MONTH. Eddie assured me it would be "all taken care of".Not just that... Eddie claimed "Anthony" at Veteran's Auto Warranty is "Good friend of mine" and eventually told me that my mechanic "...has the documents that state that..." the head gasket repair would be covered. Then "I'll let you know they need to send an appraiser there". Then "I'm handling it". Then "Your mechanic ... will receive a call today or first thing tomorrow all taken care of"Then Eddie told ME, after two weeks in the shop, that Veteran's Auto Warranty was "waiting on shops estimate". What was Eddie 'taking care of' if they didn't yet have an estimate?I did eventually get in touch with Veteran's Auto Warranty. They told me 1) there wasn't a valid warranty on the car, and 2) they hadn't received payment for the coverage."Veteran's Auto Warranty" never sent an estimator. After a full month of calling, waiting, leaving messages, faxing estimates... surprise surprise... they won't cover the head gasket, a part that is LITERALLY SPELLED OUT UNDER "COVERED PARTS". Why? Because they said it's damage due to overheating.First of all, HOW WOULD THEY KNOW THAT IF THEY NEVER EVEN SENT AN ESTIMATOR? Why did I pay for a warranty??? They wasted a month of my time and they weren't even going to cover the repair. Then Eddie told me "send me invoice he sent to warranty", balked at the estimate, and again refused to take the car back.Best Choice ALSO wouldn't cover the rear brakes - they were metal to metal, meaning it wouldn't pass NY inspection. By the time the oil cooler blew a month later, I was done trying. The icing on the cake was a missing plastic cover on the dash. Eddie said he'd send that part out to me ASAP when I bought the car. TWO MONTHS later, nothing. Whatever, I ordered it on eBay and it arrived in 9 days. I'm writing this review FIVE MONTHS after buying the car -- still no dashboard part in the mail. Let that be your gauge of just how little effort this dealer will put into follow-through after a sale. Eddie couldn't even send me a $45 dashboard vent cover.Eddie's last message to me about the Jeep was "if you drive a car hot you will blow head gasket I can't be responsible for that".If you enjoy that kind of infuriating arrogance after being ripped off, AND you enjoy paying $5k over the next 2 months to make a car driveable AFTER paying for a warranty, then by all means find your next jalopy at Best Choice Auto. If you value your own time and money, steer clear.

Easy, no BS, great experience dealing with Shane and Ralph, They are straight up. Ralph even gave me $1000 off the advertisement price because he quoted to me over the phone for less. Found exactly the car I was looking for on CARFAX from them.

Been about two months now that I had bought a car from these guys, the car for being 10 years old was just awesome.I delayed writing a post to see how the car would be running for a spell and I'm not disappointed in this purchase. Two years later, paid car off via Maple Finance. This car has needed minimal servicing..Nothing but a good experience.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERHSIP. I came here looking for an affordable used car and saw a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee on their website. It was listed at 6000 dollars despite the Kelley blue book value for the car being no more than 3000 dollars. I called and told the person on the phone the price that I can do for the car and he said I can come take a look at it so I went in and did a test drive and decided to buy it. So I came back a few days later with a check with an agreed on price and the person I was buying the car from said I believe the price was 11 dollars more. Any place that is gonna make a comment about 11 dollars after getting a good amount more than what the car was worth should not be trusted at all. A few days later I was driving the car after putting maybe 30 miles on it and the check engine light came on. I took it to autozone and found out that it needs two new catalytic converters and it will be an expensive fix. The car is also leaking power steering fluid and needs new axles and upper arm brackets, all being pricey fixes. I called the dealership to let them know about the light and see if they could do anything about it and the guy said he can clear the light. So he basically admitted to clearing the light before I purchased the car. He told me there was nothing much else they can do. They made it seem as if they gave me a great deal on a car but they sold me a piece of trash car that needs thousands of dollars in repairs to pass an inspection. This place sold me a car that won t pass an inspection without costly repairs and they clearly take advantage of customers.

DISCLAIMER:I bought my vehicle from them without being able to see it and inspect it for myself, so some of these issues can be blamed on either party. They were great to work with, and quite responsive. I believe there were a couple cosmetic issues that should have been noted (such as a couple 1 square inch spots on the hood that were rubbed down to bare metal), but I also understand that they can't memorize every little thing with every vehicle. The car runs great and smooth, so I would trust these guys to get you a well running reliable car with minimal issues if any. Although, it is hard to overlook some of the smaller issues that I felt like a dealer should have noticed and repaired. For instance, the radio screen does not function. Minor, but makes it near impossible to use the radio. The driver side power window is also non functional. Mechanically, the engine and transmission are great, so like I said, i would trust them to get a well running vehicle, but it does seem like they don't run fine tooth inspections of the vehicles, or possible don't write some of the smaller issues down and forget to notify customers, even when asked specifically about these potential issues. I wouldn't rule them out as an option for purchasing a car, but I would probably have another mechanic or experienced party run through the vehicle to truly get an idea of the state of everything (something that was very hard for me to do living hundreds of miles away)

Purchased a car here about two months ago and I have nothing but great thing to say about Best Choice! The car dealer Lou was nothing but patient with me. I am not proud to say I do not have the best credit but unfortunately i do but that was not an issue here. Lou spent several hours with me going over everything with the banks that were suitable enough to fit my needs. I appreciate the help and i absolutely love my Jeep Wrangler. I recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to be treated like absolute family and it certainly have FIVE stars! BTW I loved that they offered to buy me lunch while I waited for the application process truly a great experience!

I am a single mother of two and was recently in desperate need of a new vehicle to fit my children comfortably ! I did not hesitate to purchase my second vehicle from Best Choice Auto Sales because their staff was absolutely fantastic during my first purchase. If you are looking to feel comfortable about a car purchase I highly suggest you go to Best Choice Auto Sales to buy a car. I bought my first vehicle from them in 2007 and they took it back as a trade in and put me into a much newer and larger vehicle. They work with several different banks and did whatever was possible to put me in a bank with the lowest monthly payment. One young woman around 18/19 years old and an older man worked together on my purchase. The owners of the dealership spoke with me and helped me out throughout my purchase as well. The dealership was properly run and was most definitely family owned. I am from New York and had to travel a great amount of time to Best Choice Auto Sales but it was worth every second of it. If you are looking for GREAT customer service do not go any further. I highly recommend Best Choice Auto Sales .....

Bought a truck there and within having it a few hours the windows did not work properly had to take it tons mechanic to them find out it needed over $1,000 in work for a noise it was making. I ve now had it a month and a half and took back to mechanic to have it looked at due to mangas smell coming out of the Vents when the AC is on and was told I now need over $2,000 in repairs done... oh and I also just had the flex pipe replaced as well. I can not believe they sold me a car with this amount of damage. I have 4 kids and can t afford to keep fixing this car. Beyond mad and upset over this.

Worst experience ever and I highly suggest to take your money somewhere else to buy a better car! Bought a Chevy sonic from them in January 2020 within 2 weeks I found out the brake pads and rotors were basically metal on metal which was causing a terrible pulsation which I told them before I bought the car it needed brakes and according to the owner his mechanic checked them and they were fine, after driving I could tell they weren t perfectly fine than in the same time I had my mechanic check to see what else was wrong with the car, my transmission lines were completely rotted and had a leak & my flex pipe needed to be repaired. I went back freaking out because I didn t even have the car for a month and I have to put 700$ into it already? The owner proceeded to tell me I hit things and that s why I needed repairs (i didn t hit nothing. I spoke to another mechanic and he said I was sold the car like this) , I continued flipping out and they agreed to pay for it. Flash forward another month, I noticed the car was slipping gears and hesitating to accelerate and jerking between certain speeds. I decided to bring to a transmission mechanic and come to find out I need a new transmission. So another 3,000 dollars out of my pocket on top of what i m paying for the car. I called again flipping out and they acted so shocked and had hung the phone up on me multiple times, I continued calling and they finally spoke to me and said I could go to one of their mechanics who would do it cheap and they could call me back a couple days later, I didn t rely on them because I know the work wouldn t be good. Thank gosh I didn t wait for a call back because I am still waiting for one. The cars they sell there aren t mechanically good and shouldn t be sold how they are. The owners lie about getting the cars checked out, and unfortunately I had to learn the hard way. Please take your money elsewhere to people who are more honest about the product they are selling.Car does not have over 100,000 miles and I have the receipt from your mechanic with the work being close to 700.

Most honest and respectable dealership I've ever set foot on. Staff was available and willing to provide all the information. No pressure. No hassle. And no surprises. And no unexpected fees at signing. What you see is what you get at Best Choice and I recommend anyone looking for a used car to stop by and see what they have to offer.

Story short, I bought a car from these people about six months ago, barely two thousand miles on it from when I bought it, and I have to spend more then 3k in repairs to be able to drive it safely, needs a new oil pump sensor, a new exhaust system, the engine needs to be rebuilt , and more issues. These people are conartists that get good looking junkcars to sell you that they know will break down after their warranty. To anyone thinking about buying from these guys, I implore you to stay away, God Please stay away from this place.

Bought a 2004 Nissan Murano no problems, low miles, car runs great the whole 9 yards. Before going to look at the car, my boyfriend was working up there so he decided to go look at the car first before taking the drive up there myself. Noticed the car had brand new tires, but back passenger was running low. No big deal! Put some air in it. Long story short, there was a huge screw in the tire, exhaust doesn t even BELONG TO MY CAR, radio doesn t work, get home, check engine light comes on. And to top it off, today we got a rain storm here in brick, and I got a shower in my car. Stream of water straight from the roof. I expected some problems considering it s a used car, but not a couple thousand dollar fix. Called them in regards of my situation, and pretty much told my the problem is none of their concern.

Beware dealing with the salesperson Lou. He tried telling me that that the recommended service for the vehicle (timing belt replacement) was probably done because the vehicle was well maintained. When I mentioned that I did not see it on the Carfax service history, he backtracked and said it would be covered under their warranty. He supposedly was going to try to find out if it was done, but after mentioning the Carfax service history, he hung up on me. Based upon my experience, I would not believe anything he says.

I thought finding a Manual 2003 V6 Tiburon at an affordable price was an amazing blessing....wrong! Before purchasing the car, I was guaranteed the clutch was new! But within DAYS of driving, I noticed the rpms constantly sticking at 3000-3500 after shifting. I thought I found a reliable dealer and was assured I could always go to them for help if anything seems off. I was mistaken and quickly found I would receive no assistance or rectification. My concerns were constantly blown off by the incredibly rude receptionist and to make matters worse, after I had my car inspected by several mechanics who confirmed the clutch was not new, I was still told by Best Choice the clutch was new and that nothing would be done. Paying out of pocket over $1000 for a new clutch wasn't the worst part. Dealing with dismal customer service was! I would highly recommend abstaining from experiencing what I did! Today was the last straw when my car was towed home after I left it with Best Choice for more problem analysis. WHY? I was it told it wouldn't go in to gear....but as soon as I got home from work I drove it to the store.... and still have no resolution. Not only did the receptionist tell me I could not speak to the owners, but also told me I couldn't talk to them tomorrow, and no response for when I could. After complaining of my terrible experience with the company, and being sold a car with a useless clutch, the receptionist told me I was rude and hung up on me. My advice is to avoid at all cost!

I usually don't like anyone, especially used car dealers. We were in the market looking for our 17y.o's first car. We wanted something reliable so we narrowed our choices down and started the hunt. We actually came across this place by accident after visiting several used car dealerships in the area. The guy Lou answered all our questions, immediately gave us the carfax (which by the way carfax isn't as accurate as people think), no pressure we came back several times, he addressed all our issues we had and my son is happy and so are we. It helped that my son and husband are knowledgeable about cars but we also did our homework. We were happy with the price and with the service. Even when we wanted something extra, Lou delivered. Was Lou perfect? No! I had to keep on top of him about somethings, but then again I'm in finance so I'm a money girl and I want things right. But he was a good guy. Who I didn't like was Raritan Bay credit union(who financed the vehicle), they are very incompetent. will never use them or recommend them for anything.(that's another review which i will write under their name). Overall, a positive experience.

I've had my car for one year now and I have never ever had a problem with it. Lorraine and her bosses were nothing but sweet to me, even with my troubling credit score. I don't know what everyone else is talking about, but I really had a great experience at Best Choice Auto.

The good: they got me in a great vehicle under extremely challenging credit circumstances. They worked with me to make the deal work. The meh: the car had been sitting for a while. So, there's a certain set of issues that can arise. While inconvenient, the owners and Lou worked with me to resolve the issues.Bottom line: Great experience overall, in spite of the issues shortly out of the gate.
