Surprise 10% price increase in random feesThis place does not practice fair/transparent pricing. From outside looks relatively clean and professional.Unfortunately, published prices are click baits . I called upfront asking about the price and the fees. Still they managed to not be honest. The sales person looked pretty annoyed at showing us the car, little to no answers to questions. When we showed interest, surprise additional fees little more than 10% of the car price. The owner acknowledged it was an online price Although I d have easily afforded the increase, I don t think it is professional business. If they have surprise pricing imagine the surprises under the hood of the car. Better skipping.Good luck

First let me say I have no issue with Jorge. Maybe the issue was I bought a pre-owned Jaguar, not one of their hundreds of thousand dollar Maserati's. When I purchased it I was told when my plates came in someone would come to my home and put them on. The temporary paper plate expired 4/5. I called on 4/4 to ask if my plates came in I was told they would check and call me back, they didn't. I called the next day 4/5 and was told they didn't come. Later in the day they called me to say they came in but were to busy to come put them on. they told me to come get them or they would send them. I opted to have them sent rather than travel to Upper Saddle River, 42 miles round trip and 1 hour. Poor customer service for my lowly Jaguar!

Jorge is an excellent salesman. We went back and forth on the phone before I drove about 2 hours down to them. When we got there, we had a few hiccups (not because of Jorge), but we got it all resolved. We ended up getting the car we wanted and an excellent deal. Shout out to Jorge and his manager Brad who helped us get what we wanted. They also have a beautiful showroom with a Bentley and Lamborghini and many other extra luxury vehicles in there. Jorge is who you call when you need a car.

Shockingly incompetent for a car dealership- especially for a luxury car dealership. Wasted DAYS of my time and still couldn't get it right. However far away you need to drive to AVOID this dealership, i recommend that wholeheartedly. Adjectives i would use to describe my overall experience- disorganized, uninformed, inept & sloppy. This included sales reps clear to management (sales and finance). Even after all this- so many hidden fees- even after their website boasts no hidden fees - even after speaking with them back and forth for over a week (and this was after looking past their GIANT inconveniences due to lack of attention to very important details, like the vehicles whereabouts. They had me drive 2 hours to their dealership to look at a specific car i called about. It ended up not even being on their lot.) After finally getting the physical car on their lot a week later (communicating price so there was zero confusion and driving 2 hours once again) they revealed thousands of dollars in hidden fees.

Very disappointed with my experience here. Set up an appointment and drove from East Hampton, NY to look at a specific vehicle. When I arrived, the staff was very dismissive I know I wasn t as dressed up as other clientele, but I m 7.5 months pregnant and drove all this way. After reminding the salesman of the car I was interested in, he said he would bring it around 30 minutes later nothing. It would take another hour before a test drive occurred. If I hadn t driven all this way/gotten a hotel for the night(on assumption I would maybe move forward with purchase), I would have left. Terrible service.Mean while the manager in his suit was walking around trying to joke around oh Ashley is helping you?!? Sorry we couldn t find anyone better *insert a wink and a fake laugh*

Contacted them about a vehicle. Went back and forth for days with salesperson. She said they have to run my credit but it would be a "soft pull." They run credit and it is a hard pull that shows up on my credit as an inquiry. I ask her for terms, she texts me a picture of numbers written on notepad paper. I made an offer on the vehicle several times and asked for an answer on my offer several times. Salesperson finally says, we got you approved just come in and "we'll make a deal." By approved she meant 2.5% higher rate than my approval I had with another bank. Just not a great overall experience.

Stay away. The most unprofessional dealership I've ever experienced. The GM is either in way over his head or extremely lazy and doesn't care. He doesn't return texts, email and won't receive calls. I purchased a CPO Maserati In mid November. It's Jan 15th- the car has been back with them since Mid December to fix many flaws that should've been addressed being sold as CPO- evidently not put through the certification process at all. To date, the dealership has not registered my car or transferred the plates, they have not paid the loan balance on my trade in, I am following up with Maserati Americas, The New Jersey attorney general, and trying to find the owner of the franchise ( since their answering machine says it's still part of the Celebrity Group- which sold it in 2017).

I have been coming to Maserati of Bergen County for several years from Queens NY, even having several Maserati service locations near me, because Maserati of Bergen County are simply the best! Emilio P. Head of the service department is attentive, honest, and goes above and beyond to make his costumers feel like they are getting high quality honest labor, repairs, and service. They always have all the pieces I need to keep my Maserati Ghibli 2017 running in mint condition; till this very day not one check engine light! This vehicle mechanically drives like a smooth precise machine because I bought it from here and Emilio is always on top of it s service when needed! I can t thank you guys enough!

Brad - Sales Manager - is very professional. We made a deal 2 weeks ago with Eddie when the car was in service, but the deal was changed at the last minute due to a misunderstanding. Brad called me a few days later and fixed the situation. They filled my gas tank after the purchase and Eddie gave me 2 Maserati hats for me and my wife. I got my new car and waiting for new plates, I will update everyone here for the process.

We recently had to bring our Maserati in for service.. and I am thrilled to share a very positive experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the GM Robert Chakamian and felt very welcomed.Robert personnally took us to service and introduced us to our service advisor Robert Islamov.. What a very genuine person helping us with our service needs. He was incredibly attentive and took the time to understand our specific needs and issues for this service appointment. The attention to detail and personalized service truly made us feel valued as a customers. My wife and I would highly recommend Maserati of Bergen county to anyone in the market for a new Maserati or seeking an exceptional automotive service experience....

We had an absolutely horrible experience at this dealership. Before heading 45 minutes to this place to see a used car, I called to be sure that the price online was correct. My husband was pre-approved for a car loan and we brought the paperwork with us. We had a good experience with Ryan the salesman, he's a nice guy. However, Henny the finance manager thought he was slick and quoted us double the monthly payment. We called the bank to find out why and it turns out he added a huge extended warranty, gap insurance and an almost $4000 vehicle reconditioning fee on top of adding 8% interest to our pre approved rate. We did not want any of these extras and they lost a deal that night. We were fully prepared to buy the car. I'm not sure what made him think he had 2 suckers sitting in front of him, but he was way wrong. They tried for a few days to get the price down but the whole experience left a bad taste and zero trust. I informed Ryan that we were looking at a few other vehicles over the weekend and I would get back to him on Monday. We found the vehicle we wanted at another dealership and whenthey went to run credit, there was a freeze on Experian that we did NOT put on it. I believe this dealership put the freeze on it in an attempt to stop us. That is now being investigated by Experian and I hope for their sake our assumption is wrong. Henny tried to tell us that the finance companies are the reason car dealers get a bad rap. NOPE! Dishonest finance managers are the reason Henny! RUN as fast as you can from this place. I sincerely hope Ryan takes my advice and finds a reputable dealership to work at. I'm sure they will say I'm not in their records and that would be correct, but my husband is and they can't deny that. We took the same pre-approval to another dealership and they managed to get us a lower rate with a different bank and added no extras. THAT is how you sell a car!

I live in Long Island and I went to New Jersey. I figured I will have better service better car less mileage when I went there. The price that it was online they charged me more. They don t answer their phone calls. After I bought my car I have problems with my car. It s been a month I m still sitting here waiting for my tires to be replaced dashboard to be replaced, I paid a lot of money for this car. Unfortunately, I m still waiting .they lie about their pricing they lie about Online pricing they just want to sell you a car and get rid of you never again.

This Dealer is super unprofessional. My husband purchased his car from here and went in 11/30/23 to have a service done due to a tire a flat tire from a pot hole. once the service was completed he then noticed a large scratch at the bottom of the bumper where the service rep became offended and immediately denied that he damaged the car and said " you got a free tire now you want free bumper" when that was not the case. He has tire insurance. they went back and forth, he waited to speak with the GM who then had him wait almost a half hour before he came to talk with him, The GM very unprofessional. instead of introducing himself with name and title, he greets him and says you're waiting for me, he responds I'm waiting on the GM, he says that me. waiting for him for almost a half hour was also a waste of time as they refused to run the cameras or take any accountability, as a retail manager myself that is not hour you're suppose to operate your business. My husband will now have to come out of pocket to repair the damages that the dealer caused.

Bought a new Maserati and I really loved the dealership and their attitude. Peter Chiano and the sales team were really helpful and knew a lot. Very respectful folks. The service center was quick and good too.

I stopped in with my son and we loved our salesperson and the SUV. The purchase was to be made by my wife and we returned for a test drive. The manager was very rude and dismissive to our female sales person during our conversation.Hard pass here. I'm sure you can do much better than we saw that evening.

Completely unreasonable additional fee s on a used Land Rover. $1200 fee if buying the car with cash and a $3500 restoration fee for a $32000 car. I have never heard of paying a penalty for trying to pay with cash ? Save your money and shop elsewhere!

update 12/01/2023 - DONT YOU DARE LIE AND SAY THIS IS A FAKE REVIEW! I WILL GLADLY UPDATE WITH PICTURES, PROOF OF PURCHASE. Henny and Robert, you know EXACTLY who I am! Do not try to lie under the negative reviews to make your dealership "look good". Enough is enough! I purchased my car 07/19/2023. I was there all day and I was the only customer that made a purchase. If I could give it a negative rating I would! Be prepared for them to take your money then not return your calls for over 2 months after purchasing your car. They'll give you a temporary plate that will expire and won't register your car for another 2 months so your stuck not driving it. Don't waste time saying you want to use the same plates, they won't do it anyways. Trading in your car for a new one here? DONT BOTHER! They won't pay off that car for 2 months !! You will be stuck with the bill, paying two cars at once! The entire dealership is a joke. You will be calling every single day for months and it will still get you nowhere! No one will ever call you back! Contact the Better Business Bureau or NJ DMV, that'll be the ONLY way you get your resolution....This dealership is such a joke its becoming comical at this point. I've been asking for my sales rep for the past month and a half, and they stated he is out today, with a client, or in a meeting. Turns out, he doesn't even work there anymore!! LOLLLL!!!! He hasn't even been there this whole time I've been asking for him. Still no update as of 9/18/23. However, the finance manager texted me on 9/14/2023 refusing to help me unless I promise to take down my review. LOL In his exact words "Good Morning First thing I have to say is if you think posting negative reviews about the dealership will get you any results your mistaken". Its sad that only time I ever got contacted back, was right after I left this review....Contacted BBB, was left with no other option honestly.9/27/23 - The way this dealership handles things is just a disappointment. They literally paid a 3rd party to have reviews taken down. BE AWARE. Its sad that you cant even share your ACTUAL experience. According to Henny, Finance Manager, they will get the check mailed out on Tuesday 10/3, when the person that signs the checks is "back from vacation". We will see where this goes....

BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT visit this dealership! They will take your money and scam you with the rest! After you pay for your new car, be prepared to never get a call back! You'll be stuck with no registration and no plates for months!...reposting as they took down my review since it was a 1 star! I would rate less if I could...Robert, you know exactly why and when this review was made. My wife and I have been trying to contact you since our deal was made in July 2023 and you have NEVER called back nor were you ever in the office to speak with us. Not just you, but Henny as well. It took 4 months to receive our overpayment check, in which your team THREATENED my wife that if she does not take down her review, you will not give her the check. Your dealer took 3 months to register her car with the DMV. You lied stating a check was made in early august, when in fact it was not until late September. You and your dealership were an absolute horrible experience. It is a true shame that you have the audacity to even sit there and act like this is a fake review, just so customers continue to visit this dealer. Do not ever claim that mine and my wife reviews are fake, as we have all of the screenshots to prove it, and certainly do not mind posting them with our review.

If you are prepared to call 10 times with no response, buy/sell a car at this dealership. My wife sold a car here with financed loan on 5/8, given them approximately 3 weeks to send a payoff check to bank before May loan due date (5/27) so loan can be removed from her account. However, this issue had been dragging on for over a month without any result. We had to continue paying for monthly loan on 5/27 AFTER the car was being sold to dealer for 3 weeks. We tried contacting them, in the beginning they would respond politely, saying it s strange and they didn t know why it s taking so long. But as far as it went, they didn t help you with the process. The next time you call, the receptionist will tell you that they are in a meeting.I called Charlie the finance manager more than 10 times with no answer or call back, I was told he was in a meeting. I wonder if he was trying to avoid me? I felt very frustrated as June loan due date (6/27) was approaching while we kept calling dealer for updates with no response. My wife already overpaid May loan, it would really make no sense if we had to pay for June loan as well after CAR WAS BEING SOLD TO DEALER ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO.Finally on 6/14 Charlie called me back and sent me a screenshot of payoff submitted to bank as proof. He also mentioned will mail us a separate check for the May overpaid monthly loan. We waited for over 10 business days, bank loan was finally processed but we still didn't receive our check. We tried calling them again on 6/27 about the check they said they mailed us which we never received, Charlie s attitude was extremely poor because we left a negative review on Google. We had to drive AN HOUR to the dealership to pick up our check IN PERSON. Charlie said we had to remove the negative Google review before they could give us the check. We felt extremely pressured and uncomfortable. He also said that they NEVER mail checks to individuals which means he was lying to us the entire time about they MAILED a separate check to our home address. Please note this overpayment check that we were picking up was due to dealer s late submission of payoff check to bank, it s NOT a fault of our own. I do not think dealer had the right to hold customer s check and request customer to delete a previous Google review. Finally, we got the check and took us another hour to drive home. I feel I have to share this experience and let everyone know how this place treated their customers.

Damion and Charles went above and beyond to address all of my concerns and take care of everything quickly and efficiently. With their guidance during the financing application process, I was able to secure a better rate than I expected. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new car!

I had my 2015 Maserati serviced at Maserati of Bergen County after it was in an accident that required the engine to be replaced. The vehicle was delivered to the service department in good structural condition. After performing the engine replacement, Steve (the service manager) returned the car to me damaged and out of alignment. After I 'discovered' the damage (they delivered the car to my driveway without informing me of the damage/misalignment) I contacted Steve. He said he was fully aware of the damage and that it was the result of substandard work at the body shop prior to his work and that he was aware of the substandard work before performing the engine replacement but didn't see fit to refuse the $29,000.00 job and inform me that the car would not be put back to the condition in which is was received.I contacted the General Manager David Goldstein regarding the matter. Mr. Goldstein directed me back to Steve, the service manager, who directed me back to the insurer, who directed me back to Maserati, who directed me back to the body shop.....who......well you get the picture.Having received no remedy or recourse at Maserati, I am now taking the matter to the Better Business Bureau, ,the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles, and the New Jersey State Attorney General. Hopefully Maserati of Bergen County and their assigns will respond to those entities as they do not see fit to respond to me.BTW, I gave 2 stars because the engine work was good but the craftsmanship and level of customer service was and is terrible.Hope your experience is better.

WOW! I was captivated by their exquisite selection of luxury cars from the moment I walked in. The sales team's knowledge and passion for their inventory were evident, and they helped me find the car of my dreams, the 2022 Audi RS e-tron GT Quattro with Ceramic Brakes. The sales rep I worked with provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure that all my questions were answered and my needs were met. The dealership's service center ensured the car was in pristine condition, and their financing options made the purchase process seamless. It was an outstanding sales experience. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a really good car.

I purchased a vehicle on April 6, 2023. I did not receive my license plate and paperwork until July 8, 2023. I ve been buying cars from the tristate area for over 40 years. The Maserati of Bergen County is the worst dealership I have encountered. After my 30 day temporary plate expired, they provided me with a courtesy letter explaining the issues with the DMV in the event that I was stopped by the police. I contacted this dealership weekly concerning my license plate / paperwork. The standard answer from the dealership was provide us with your cell phone number and we ll call you back after we ve contacted the DMV. They NEVER called me back. I then contacted and made a formal complaint with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. Once the Commission was involved with my situation, I received my license plate and paperwork in 2 weeks. Amazing, isn t it?!On July 8th I received a call from Megan of Maserati stating that she had the plates and paperwork concerning my vehicle. She wanted to know if I was going to pick them up or she could mail them out on Monday July 10th. I stated that I would pick up my items on Monday. I did not trust them! When I arrived at the dealership, the woman at the front desk assisted me with my paperwork and license plate. I had a question in which she was not able to answer. At that moment, Eddie (my sales rep), was passing by and she asked him for assistance. Eddie stated he was busy, but would return in a few minutes. He never returned to answer my question. He did not even look at me he knew they were messing with me.Lastly, let s talk about Charlie, the Sales Manager. Whenever I made a visit to the dealership to check in on my paperwork in person, he would inform me to speak with Eddy. His common reply was I have nothing to do with your problem you need to speak to someone from the office upstairs. Charlie was of no help at all.Buyers stay away from this dealership. And to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission thank you very much for your assistance.Tony T.

I m very pleased with the sales team and the way they get things done. I have recently purchased my second car from them and both times they went over and beyond. The first car I was in and out within 90 minutes. The second purchase I was even more thrilled with because I already knew how the process goes. Absolutely satisfied with both my Jeeps.

DO NOT VISIT THIS DEALER! FINANCE AND THE GENERAL MANAGER WILL NOT HELP YOU! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SCAM YOU AFTERWARDS! BUYER BEWARE! YOU ARE BETTER OFF VISITING ANOTHER MASERATI DEALER!Also, stop paying companies to remove negative reviews and submit FAKE 5 star reviews. Your scams are as clear as day and more and more people are leaving the reviews with the same scenarios.

UPDATED 10/4/18: Our Levante will be going back to Maserati NA within the next few weeks. Our car was bought back under the NJ Lemon Law. This car was always in the shop multiple times per month. Mostly all electrical issues. We would like to thank the staff of Maserati of Bergen County especially Robert the General Manager. With all these problems that kept occurring, Robert was always there to assist. The car would always be picked up and dropped off along with a loaner. Robert and the rest of the staff tried everything but the car could just not be fixed. I highly recommend this dealership for their professionalism! Thanks again for all your help Robert!Original 10/7/17: Just purchased a 2017 Maserati Levante and received EXCELLENT service. Having Dave as a salesman was awesome to work with and was very knowledgeable. Always done service here with my 2015 Ghibli and the service department is great as well. If your looking to buy a Maserati come here and ask for Dave!

Great car buying experience, very knowledgeable car sales man Al. Finance Manager Chuck worked magic with best rates ever, I came with my bank check only to find he had the best deal. The Manager Robert, attentive. What makes me not give a 5 star, bought car Aug 7th with tags expering Sept 7th. Car inspection done in Delaware dropped MV212 form to request titling of car. Tags expired calling everyday with a promise that they will be at my house 2 days, call again and promised 2-3 days, then finally I decide to call the Manager Robert Chakamian, left messages every day sometimes twice a day with no response. Finally Sept 13th now, I receive an email with a credit card authorization form to pay $1588 for Delaware taxes and that Delaware will not release the tags until I pay. 1. Why I am being asked to pay this while I paid all the transfer and titling fees when I signed the buyers note 2. This sounds like a dealer error or finance error. Is it lack of dealer experience. I am sure I am not the first customer from out of state. 3. If I am required to pay this amount, I would've registered the car my self in Delaware. 4. There was no form or agreement about this. Never signed one. I had already paid $4995 so called dealer fees to prepare the car for driving and warranties which I didn't mind but this other issue sounds fishy. If you are out of state customer be warned! You might want to keep it local to avoid headaches and bad experiences.
