KMD is a great choice if you re in the area!! Rob s customer service was exceptional the entire way. The pricing is very fair and the late night drop/pickup is a HUGE plus.

Fantastic European speciality mechanic. Came here to do some maintenance on my car and the staff is very approachable and knowledgeable. Rob was great in explaining the maintenance items and updating me on the work as well as talking with me about future items to consider maintaining. Highly recommend!

These guys use aftermarket parts and charge you as if they were factory made. Won t recommend again. Horrible experience never again!!

Business was very responsive! Sent an inquiry over the weekend, and they got back to me immediately after their business hours restarted after the weekend. They pretty much had what I ordered overnighted and delivered to me next day on a Saturday! I was assisted by Rob who was very helpful. Seems like he loves what he does, loves the products, and loves brands they provide services for. Whenever I had an issue or question, Rob always returned my messages within a very reasonable wait time. Highly recommend. For those that it may apply to, I purchased Unitronic tuning hardware, and software for ECU & TCU for a MK8 Golf GTI. If you're looking for a supplying Unitronic dealer, or require some of their other services, I highly recommend KMD Tuning. They even included a personable message in the package which I thought was a really nice touch. Its the little things that they thought of that just makes the experience all the more pleasing. Do not buy kmd injectors buy APR or other respected brands Bought some s3/golf r injectors for my b7 a4 expected a working and fully functional injector considering they messaged me to to let me know there is no refund or warranty I said that s fine as long as they work like they should they said they will but yet I ended up getting leaky injectors that came with the wrong flow pattern that made my car misfire horribly had messaged them letting them know they don t work and they leak they didn t respond and it made me have to pay another $700 to get apr injectors that solved the issues the kmd injectors cause

Great shop for any euro cars in the north jersey area. Have only ever done maintenance stuff but lots of awesome cars getting work done on their social media. Great communication and just so easy to deal with and Rob does a fantastic job with it all. Highly recommend

The KMD Team is awesome! Robert is/was super helpful. I brought my car into be tuned a few months back. He took the time to explain and walk me through the specific tune/s available for my Audi A5. If you're considering any performance related work to your car, give these guys a call.

Rob is really knowledgeable about tuning cars. I got a stage 1 unitronic and catback exhaust installed for my GTI. Probably be back for downpipe and other mods. The car is pretty quick now and runs smoothly.

Installed a stage 1 with an intake, they do great work and the customer service is top notch. Rob was very responsive and informative, I will definitely be back to install more upgrades.

Roberto was extremely helpful over the phone. Although I'm not able to bring my car to him and the team any time soon, he gave me valuable advice and direction. These guys clearly are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.... no question I would trust them with my car.

I got a Stage I tune there last November for a very reasonable price, and I've been very satisfied with the performance of my 2016 GTI S after the tune. I haven't had any problems with the tune, nor any mechanical issues due to the increased power. My GTI is otherwise totally stock (6-sp manual)...and it still handles great.Roberto is the man to speak to at KMD.

Rob is the best! He always keeps you updated and is easy to get in contact with. They will fix only what s needed, not like Volkeswagon dealerships who try to get the most money out of you.

I don't write a review often, but this time I really need to leave some comment here. Wish I could've give more stars than 5. Danny, Chris, all the crews are here are very professional and very kind. I tuned my car here and am very satisfied w/what they have done. not only that, whenever I seek for help, they are always there ready to help me. I am very very happy that I finally found group of people I can rely and trust. If you are looking for someone who can take care of precious car, I strongly and absolutely recommend these people and I really mean it.

Both Chris and Danny are amazing! Got my car done earlier than expected despite the power outage. Chris kept me updated daily regarding my B8 S4. I've been coming here ever since i got my GTI. KMD tuning is the best shop for any type of service. The customer service you get here is not comparable. They treat you like family. They take great care of your vehicle and have a lot of knowledge and expertise. I will never go to a different shop. The owner Danny is the best in the business. I love the turn over time period as they have your car in and out as quickly as possible. I trust KMD Tuning 10000%

Cant say enough great things about KMD. Absolutely professional - and they were more than happy to discuss potential options with my Audi. I was in between choosing shops in the Tri-state, and called Chris and talked to him for over an hour on cars, and at that point I was sold. KMD pushed that extra effort with customer service that is on another level than other shops I've talked to. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and provided the best recommendations for my car with what I was looking for. Not only that - it was their duty to ensure you came out satisfied and smiling. Chris, Dan & Mara alongside the other KMD teams members earned my business for life. KMD Tuning is an amazing company. Has a super responsive knowledgeable staff and never leaves any questions I ve had unanswered. I have a lot of work done at KMD to my Golf R from a unitronic software install to a timing belt. I travel over 50 miles to drop my vehicles off to them. They are great and for the knowledge they have there prices are unbeatable!

This vape smoking guy is a slick thief. They will fix someones car issue and mess up another ,just to keep you going back to them. They will loosen your spark plugs or do something so your car won t run correct . Don t go to KMD they will rob you blind . Professional scammers

Leaving this review because KMD has great customer service and are very informative.Was planning to bring a car from the dealer during a test drive to have KMD do an visual inspection. They were happy to oblige, and was able to squeeze me in an appointment on the same week!But, the sad part of this was the dealer already sold the car I was planning to check out.Now KMD went above and beyond by offering to help me find another car that fit my needs.I can't speak for their tuning ability(yet), but i can attest to their service. And, If their service is only a small representation of who they are, you can only imagine their dedication to tuning your car.

I would like to share my experience in working with Danny and Chris from KMD. I am not an easy person to work with in the sense I ask a million questions, I take forever to make a decision, and I challenge pricing. Danny and Chris won my business because of these top three flawlessly executed abilities:1.Communication and response time.These guys are seriously on top of their game getting back to you with unbiased, honest, and easy to understand responses. Danny and Chris were able to talk to me on both on a technical level, and also on a more basic level to help me understand questions I had in regard to cooling and tuning my Audi s5.2. Quality of workAlong with tuning my car using unitronic stage 3 software with a dual pulley, they installed a revo divorced heat exchanger. They explained the benefits of how the divorced system from the heat exchanger will compliment the unitronic tune by keeping my car Temps cooler thus allowing more consistent pulls. They also looked for current and future fail points that we discussed in depth to give me peace of mind. I honestly feel that they worked on this car as if it were their own, and 100% had my best interest in mind. They also installed a p3 gauge that fits flush into my air vent and looks like it came directly from the factory.3. PriceI told them from the beginning that I was shopping around for "the best deal". By the end of the transaction we agreed on a price and I left my car with them. There were no surprise "add on" prices when I picked the vehicle up and all work was done above and beyond my expectations.Chris and Danny care about not only the cars they work on, but the people and relationships they build with you in the process. I will certainly be returning to them for future modifications and service knowing that the car will always be in good hands. Danny and Chris thank you again!

The customer service was A 1. They were very accommodating. I was able to drop off the car and because if my schedule this was very convenient. The price was very modest, and I felt every penny spend from the momment turned out of the parking lot. I will be back, See you soon.

I haven't had the work done yet, so this is just based on the quality of their customer service for now. I stopped at the shop which is a little bit hidden in a small industrial park, but you'll easily spot it by the performance cars out front. The access to the showroom and shop are limited because of Covid-19, but there is a greeting area and the service is prompt. They gave me an estimate on suspension work I plan on doing to my MK6 GTI. The labor rate is very reasonable and even better if buy the parts directly from them. They have an online shop available if you want to see what's available for your car before going. I'm looking forward to working with them soon.

Ordered motor mounts for my Audi. After placing order they quickly called to let me know that there is a backlog for production on them. They stayed in touch and communicated the whole time and shipped mine out as soon as they were available. Great job

they gave me good customer service through the phone when i first asked them about a tune i wanted to do to my car and if it was possible because for some reason the tuning/auto shops in nyc wasn't accepting my car so i got referred to them . and i called them up and they told me the tune for my car was available so i went about 10:30 this morning and they got right to it . those guys wasted no time getting busy . and to be honest i've delt with alot of shops and this is one of my favorite ones and just met them today and they are very heartwarming family . im 100% satisfied with my bootmod stage 1 tune with 5 second burble time and i absolutely love it alot. my car is so much faster and sounds so mean and aggressive which is what i was looking for in the tune so it turned out perfectlyService: Auto engine tuning
