brought my jeep in without an appointment , had a ticking sound in engine area. done within two weeks and that's just cause dealing with insurance . Silent as mouse when starting up and drives smooth like when i first bought it. highly recommend.

My experience with Headmaster was amazing! They took my car in quickly and diagnosed it very fast. Stephanie was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining everything. My car runs great with the new engine and will definitely be back for routine maintenance.

We brought our Honda S2000 engine to this place because of over heated. They gave us 6 month or 6.000 mile warranty. So far, it is running good.Update:6/7/2020 - temperature went up again. The car had 147.261 miles then, now it has 150.410. They even replaced the thermostat housing.I emailed the business and their response was "which ever comes first".I have to say that it is not fair for a customer that after paying almost $4.000 dollars, the business doesn't care to provide a job well done.If you have this type of car, PLEASE do NOT take it to Headmaster.

When I brought my car to my usual place for an issue I was having with my Mini Cooper they referred me to Headmaster. They said they would be better equipped to handle my car. I first received a quote from the Mini dealership which was outrageous. I then brought it to Headmaster where they took a look at my car right away and were able to fix it (and not even do some of the work Mini suggested since it was not necessary) for a fair price. I now go to Headmaster for all routine maintenance on my car. They are always very professional and provide super quick and quality service! I would highly recommend them.

Had my cylinder head on my ford 2.0 rebuilt and they did a great job car runs so quiet you have to be next to it to hear it run. Great job put about 10,000 mi. on since the build and its just as good as new. would def. have them do more work for me. Very professional and helpful employees.

My check engine light came on and I was starting to get some engine noise along with occasional loss of power. I took it to the dealership as per the owner manuals recommendation. They charged me a $170 diagnostic fee and told me that there is "Catastrophic Engine Failure" and I will need to replace my engine. Their quote $10,000. Keep in mind my car is Mini Cooper S that just turned 4 years old and well maintained. I found it hard to believe that the engine would fail so early in the cars life. I called up my mechanic about the issue and he informed me that it would be a lot cheaper for me to have the engine looked at by someone who does engine re manufacturing. I did some research online and found Headmaster and dropped off the car. They discovered the true cause was a blown spark plug and a ignition coil that needed to be replaced. It cost me $350. No more issues with power loss or noise and the check engine light is no longer on. It's been over a month since I took the car out of their shop and the car drives perfectly.

Great place!! Carol knows his stuff!! I've brought various vehicles there for major repairs. I brought a Toyota 4runner, a Ford F-250 and a Subaru Forester. There's nothing they can't fix. And Stephanie, their customer service representative is super nice and friendly. She knows her stuff too.

NEVER AGAIN !!! not experienced mechanics !!!they replaced my motor , took 3 weeks longer than estimated (including two weeks of my truck sitting there before he even looked at it) one month later they had to redo the head gasket water pump seal, rear main seal (the first time of 2). i had parts falling off the truck that were installed very unprofessionally, and every time you bring the car back for their mistake it takes 2-weeks. with a new motor the truck never had a proper idle (and still doesnt) they had to replace the injector and then all the main seals yet again, and the only thing the owner could tell me was he got a bad deal on gaskets from a new supplier; WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO CHEAP OUT ON GASKETS !!!immediately after picking up the truck intake manifold was bad but big surprise not their fault + $300, then both exhaust manifolds were cracked owner caro told me they crack from heat.. but were fine before engine was hydrolocked. another mechanic told me the probably dropped them, and have the bolts were hanging off. After confronting the owner he gets nasty and tells me i'm blaming him for everything wrong with my car(after giving him over $5000). he also charged me for a new radiator (without permission) that "had a leak" but all he did was put stop leak in it.In addition, after we refused to have their hack mechanics change my oil my wife took the truck to jiffy lube and they could not get the oil plug off because it was extremely over tightened we were forced to bring it to them to change the oil; this happened again the next oil change unit we forcefully told them to not over tighten the oil plug. anything touched on my truck by headmasters had to be redone or still wrong.please go to your normal mechanic don't go through what i've been through. even recently we cant get the fan clutch off to replace the water pump because yep you guessed it , extremely over tightened.please stop giving this guy business he does not deserve it.Update:After 3 years and 50k miles the $5500 motor they put in has a bad lifter and im forced to junk the truck.Ive also met other people, and even mechanics that say he is a rip off ....trust the locals stay away

I got my Ford Flex engine rebuilt almost a year ago and still running strong. Since then I have gone there with both of my cars for everything else, brakes, wheel hubs, oil change... Very knowledgeable. I'm SO glad I found this place. It's hard to find someone you can trust these days.

I have been looking for an Automotive Repair place that uses good parts, is fast and reasonable and I FOUND IT! Headmasters has a really nice staff that are knowledgable and helpful. They know both Foreign and Domestic Cars which is awesome if you drive a BMW, Mercedes or Volvo and DO NOT want to pay a dealer's prices but still get premium parts. They also go the extra mile by actually thoroughly diagnosing your entire car. These guys are great and I would recommend them to everyone. They are not just Engine Specialists, but they also do Regular and Basic automotive repairs, like tune ups, brakes and leaks! Thanks again Headmasters.

At 150k miles my 2010 Forester was bleeding oil. Between the traffic and potholes of NJ, buying a new car just didn't make sense. You need a Caterpillar, D-10 just to go back and forth to work these days. Headmaster replaced the headgasket, timing belt, valve seals, oil pan gasket, Drive and AC Belts, PCV, replaced trans and diff fluid and filters. I have to say, they did a great job. For the past 3 months my Forester has been running great, the power is back along with the gas mileage and they did it for HALF the price of what the Subaru Dealer wanted. NIce work, Guys!

they rebuilt my 4.3 v6 and 3 days later a faulty oil pump failed on the highway, engine was damaged and they pulled, rebuilt the engine at no cost and had it back in 3 days. that is amazing service and warranty. I have not had them do numerous auto repairs and have walked away satisfied every time.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would, sloppy shop where you have to go at least 4 times to fix the problem you first went in for. Took a car in to replace an oil pan gasket and the idiots removed the head covers instead plus they dropped oil into the spark holes. . They claimed to fix it but after several trips back to the shop I finally gave up and took it to the dealership. They are con artists, unprepared, unprofessional in every way! Do not, I repeat do not! Take your car here unless you enjoy throwing money away because they will pretend to fix the problem just to have you back a few days later spending more money on something else they supposedly found wrong.

Headmaster Automotive worked with me to replace an engine in my Ford - F150 pick up truck through an extended warranty policy. The process was very difficult because the warranty company tried everything they could not to pay for the replacement, but ultimately Headmasters Automotive got it done!

Got my whole engine rebuilt. Drove it for couple of weeks before a trusted car dealership told me something's loose with my oil system. Went back to Headmaster because I had a warranty. Drove it that day, and the car died. IF I'VE SPENT OVER $4,000 FOR MY ENGINE TO BE REBUILT, WHY IS IT STILL FAILING?!?! Never coming back here again. Seems like they can't handle or won't handle tedious work. They don't even deserve this one star. PLEASE AVOID THIS LOW-GRADE MECHANIC, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

I found HeadMaster Inc for a head gasket replacement for my Suzuki GV through google reviews. Needless to say the postive reviews are well worth it. My car is now quiet and runs like new. As the name suggest Karo and team are masters in engine work.

I was referred to Headmaster when my Jeep's engine was causing a lot of trouble and no one could figure out what was going on. They got the work done and went above and beyond to call me to make sure all was ok. Reasonable and professional!

Headmaster's on 263 US Highway 46 Saddle Brook New Jersey 07 663 was highly recommended to me by multiple people as very good responsible caring outgoing to help customers with their vehicles so I took my 2011 Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited 5.7 v8 spoke to one of their top men in their name Carl that my vehicle had a loud ticking noise coming from the engine which he allegedly inspected and said I know exactly what it is I deal with these engines all the time it's the lifters you will have to leave your vehicle and we will take care of it so I explained to him that I had a coverage on it which was a partial coverage they will only cover 2400 when it was all over said and done my bill was $4,075.71 and I still have the loud ticking noise on my vehicle so I went back and was told that now it was the bottom part of the engine and they will have to take the engine apart again which I totally disagreed for the fact that they kept my vehicle for over two and a half months and gave it back to me the same is not worse condition that I gave it to them this has been the worst experience for such a high-quality recommendation mechanic in the process I'm taking them to court since my vehicle is still the same and I'm $4,075.71 out of pocket I would not recommend them to anyone sad how people take advantage of people for a buckService: Engine repair

Fantastic service! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They did a great job rebuilding my heads and Karo provided me with helpful tips for reinstalling them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great mechanic.

I came here for a few tests on my engine. Everyone was very friendly, the owner listened to my story and was able to quickly diagnosis my situation. I would definitely come back for future issues and recommend this place to my friends and family.

this place is the worst service center ever and they do not have professionalism!! they never respond call back to customer s request and charge too much money without fixing. Of course no refund and no responsibilities about their services!!!! they are able to kill other people on the road by most dangerous condition s car!!!! DO NOT GO THIS PLACE SERIOUSLY

Charged for cleaning and repairing cylinder head 2008 Audi A4. Received back the head dirty I suspected his work by disassemble the valves found 4 valves bent....actually all he did only resurfaced the head.....

way 4 cyl car needs 6 spark plugs for tune up,and yes 500$ is slightly to match for labor only
