Michelle at the Advance Auto Parts in Saddle Brook was so awesome!! She helped me out with my tail light when I couldn t even identify what the issue was. She was patient and ensured that the problem was resolved fully before I left. Appreciate the customer service greatly!

Helpful employees. I went the first one in Hackensack. They did not have the part I needed. He looked it up and said another store had the part. Drove over and bought the part . The employee put it on for me .

I purchased an item online. My issue was resolved and I didn t need the item anymore. The return policy is very clear. The online costumers able to return the item any store. But they refused to take the item back and they told me I should return it which store I picked it up.

I went to Advance auto parts and I met with Chris E. He was absolutely amazing. The customer service was out of this world from the moment I entered the store from the time I left. Chris E. Identified the problem and solved it within minutes. Chris E, was patient, efficient, and very professional. Chris E. Did not try to sell me the most expensive item or try to convince me to buy something that was unnecessary for my car. He explained all of my options to me and allowed me to choose what was best. Hands down the best employee that advance auto has there.

Before checking to see what was available I inquired as to which washing solution they can recommend which doesn't leave a white residue after washing, rinsing without towel drying.The discussion involved the manager and two assistants.None of the three could grasp and understand the question, although I re-phrased the issue various times.Apparently my question had never been asked before.In exasperation I said: "So you don't know... right?"I turned away in frustration and checked the various products on the shelf myself and found the following in plain sight:

Although a great chain with good hours & stock, this store must be suffering from the shortage of good staff these days. How else could this one clerk who works there ( always with a baseball hat, thin with a thin kid's mustache) still have a job. Arrogant, rude, aloof, couldn't be bothered attitude. And what makes me really write this review is that I've talked to 2 close people and they have had the same experience with the same clerk the past few weeks.Then I look at these other Google reviews and (yes, you guessed it) and more complaints about the staff. I have plenty of other options in the area to get my parts.

Walked in here needing help locating a part for my Honda. Employees were sitting on the registers, with their backs to the customers, watching TikTok videos and playing rap music with no regard for customers in the store. Made to wait for probably five minutes as one of the college-age employees was too busy doing nothing. It feels like you're interrupting a play-date instead of walking into an auto parts store. They of course couldn't figure out the part I needed and joked about going another auto parts store to have them figure it out. Are you kidding me? Extremely unprofessional.

It s a nice store and convenient for me because I live in the neighborhood. But I can t for the life of me understand why they never want to take my used oil??? They always say their barrel is full and they can t take used oil. This is for the past 5 years at least even with different staff. So I ve resorted to dropping off my used oil at Autozone on broadway. I find it hard to believe this Advance Auto s oil barrel has been full for 5+ years!!!

By far the worst experience I have encountered has been at this location. Sold me the wrong part, and their excuse to selling me the wrong part is "oh he is new here" must I feel empathy for someone who just started? Where is the proper training? they gave me a run around on why they can't give me my money back.Very very incompetent people. I don't recommend anyone spend their money here. I'm only giving them a 1 because I can't give them a 0

Came in to start with the free battery check. Guys who work here are awesome and helped guide me through a confusing car situation and went out of their way to help. Motivated me to want to buy from this place. Cannot thank them enough.

This store is bigger than the one in bergenfield. Took me a while to get the lay of it compared to the usual AutoZone store. They directed me to exactly what I needed.

Been here a number of times. They usually have stock of what you need. The store itself is smaller but has just enough products. The staff is usually friendly but has limited knowledge of auto parts. It helps if you know exactly what you need before going there or you might end up with the wrong parts.

Negative 10 stars!!!!!!They re suppose to assist you, right? Wrong! My son went there for a battery and I told them that they will remove and install it for them. I was working and couldn t do it. They told him that 1 person was at lunch and the the 2 others that were there couldn t help. I guess they were busy doing nothing. They gave him and cart of tools and sold him a battery. Well, my son broke the special cable clamp AND advance didn t even have this part! Now the car is dead and can t go anywhere. I had to leave work and go there. After seeing what happened, I went in the store and asked why they let my son do this when it s advertised that advance will help. He told me the lunch thing and was rude about it. When I asked I thought the customer was always right? He said No they aren t. I returned the battery, called a flat bed to bring it home and then went to another store where the employee was exceptionally nice. This entire ordeal took 3 hours and $400 out of my pocket because THEY were busy. I will NEVER shop in SaddleBrook Advance Auto AGAIN!!!! I will push my car home before I get another item here. I know nothing will be done about this, but damn if feels good to let people know how the customer is treated.

Went to the store and asked for a part look up . They give me a part, I ask them if they are sure, and they say yes . Go home to install, and it s the wrong part . Went to the store for a return, with no service recovery went with amazon which has a 50% discount with next day delivery . Save ur self a trip and shop on amazonUpdate: their online people apologized, 1->3 stars . The only reason I went to the store first vs amazon, cause I wanted to get advice, and get part today. Given failure of advice, I will need to be pretty desperate to make same mistakes again.

The older associate dude with the gold like hair told me they would not install the battery in my car pursed at their shop as it takes over 30min. Didn't even help when I stated I purchased the battery a few years back and they installed it in about 15 min. I wonder how long it takes to lose 2 screws pop the battery and put the new one in? Not going back to this store.

I love this anto parts store but; was kinda disappointed they didn't have my wiper blades in stock. Post script, it was raining at the time. Lol

An ex-employee, Oscar and his team will do the very best to serve you. They will always do right by you and try to work with you every step of the way. There are specific company guidelines they must follow during battery installations and wiperblades that require two people at the registers at all times. They will work things out with you if they can not get to your needs right away. To all negative reviews, they have helped out every customer with pricing and have gone above and beyond the assistance they are "supposed" to give you. Go fish

I tried to order a second air filter for power equipment that was ordered for me 1 year prior and either new owner manager said I never ordered one. Either it was totally new ownership and the guy didnt know what he was doing or I was lied to.

Fantastic service! Showed up 10 minutes before closing on a night before a holiday, in miserable weather, badly needing wipers, as I could barely see anything driving partner's car. Got them installed and on my way in no time. Wouldn't make it to the destination without these guys!

They had what I needed but in grade 8 strength. Needed regular bolts for center boring and threading. Grade 8 too hard to drill and tap.
