George is a true professional. He has been myMechanic for years and I would not take my car anywhere else. He diagnoses the problem and fixes the car while being an honest businessman. I would recommend G & J to everyone. He will never rip you off and he always makes sure that you feel safe driving your car. He is honest and a great guy!

George is one of the most honest person that I know. I own a business and get all my cars serviced by him. He has never led me wrong when it comes to repairs for any of my cars. He only recommends what is necessary to fix your car. If you want honest service and quality work...See George!!

George is a great mechanic. I would recommend him to anyone. Being a NYC transplant, it took a while to find. Reliable mechanic. The only negative thing I can say is he is always booked so it can be hard at times to get appointment.

This is one of the rare mechanic shops in the area that is supported by AAA warranty. I gambled after reading minor reviews. George is great guy, a native east coaster from NJ/NY. Brought my car in due to massive coolant leak. Already knew it was a hose issue. When dropping car off, I explained to George a little history on car just in case he might need it. At first, I was a bit scared, cause he said it could be radiator and all sorts of other complex problems. My mind was thinking, "here we go again, a mechanic telling you to hush, creating fictitious problems to overcharge me."Although he was busy, he called me about 4:30pm to pick up car. George confirmed I had a simple hose problem. Not even an actual physical issue with the hose, but the metal clamp affixing it became corroded, thus loosened, causing antifreeze leak.The actual clamp is $3ish. The total repair cost was $125.00 - that's with the "AAA discount."I do think it's a bit costly repair for a worn $3 clamp. I don't think there was any AAA discount at that cost nor was any discount noted on the receipt.I did like George's persona and technical ability. Is the repair costly and with an applied discount? I really don't know, but I do know that a mechanic industry standard is 75-90$ per hour of labor with 1 hour minimum - even if it's a darn $3 clamp.What gave me peace is George's sincerity along with AAA's warranty service by work performed in AAA affiliated shops. Strangely, I also admired the honest truth about a simple hose clamp with the high cost. I'll take that over exaggerated claims to justify costs.I will visit again!

George at G&J Carcare is a great mechanic. I was driving to work and my car started overheating. I pulled the car over and called George, at which time he diagnosed possible problems with the car. The car needed to be towed and he discovered it needed a new water pump. He repaired the car that day and got me back on my way. G&J Carcare was professional and efficient in repairing my car. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.Annette

If George can bring my girlfriend s Jeep back from the dead, he can fix your car an absolute pro at fixing everything from your broken radiator to your timing belt to leaky main seals. He is super down to earth and friendly, and is usually super speedy for a one-man garage.Prices are very reasonable; would come back again.

I can't even tell you about all the times George has helped me. He has been our family mechanic for years now and never disappointed us. He's an honest and true car guy that will get the job done right, and he won't rip you off while doing it.

I got my car towed here after it broke down on the road, and the guy told me nothing was wrong - I just needed to put coolant in my radiator. He originally said he was busy and sounded rushed. My car broke down again within 48 hours, and the next guy I went to explained that my entire radiator and it's accessories needed to be replaced. I don't think the first guy actually looked at my car.

Tried to rent a uhaul with them. They forgot to put the information in the system so I could pick up my truck share. I was left outside the parking lot at 9 pm with no access to my rental and without any other options.
