This may be a small dealership but they have an amazing, warm staff that genuinely respect their customer's time. Super friendly folks and super speedy sale! I especially recommend the lovely Lisa, Thomas, and Carlos, who are extremely kind, friendly and patient. I absolutely love my little car, thank you!!

Bought an Audi Q7 from them a few months ago. Their business is excellent. I would recommend buying from them and will consider them in the future. The price that we saw on the internet was the price that we were given when arrived. There were no high pressure sales tactics, no making you wait a long time so you get frustrated and make irrational decisions, no bait and switch tactics, no hidden fees like (low jack, etc.) - like some of the other dealers close by. The people from Certified Motorcar are a pleasure to work with! Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved working with certified motor car! Lisa and Thomas were the main ones who took care of the transaction, everything went so smooth and I felt like I was a part of the family! In and out in an hour!This was my first purchase from a dealership and yet I feel like I've been spoiled! Thanks guys! Elsa the Outback has made a great edition to the family! :)UPDATE: After a few months of owning the car, I've found out it has been hit multiple times. The first sign was the front emblem was shattered when I bought it, which nobody sent me a photo of when I asked for photos of any issues. I had to fly to NJ to get the car so I wasn't flying back. Later when I removed the front bumper after purchase, I found several shatter pieces of plastic where the car had been hit.The front left fender also has a hole in the clear coat somebody put on after it had been replaced and left paint on the headlight confirming it was obvious the car had been hit there.There's no telling how many unreported accidents this had been in before I purchased it but the fact the these two OBVIOUS signs that the car had been hit were not mentioned to me before I flew out or even AFTER I arrived tell me this place is shady. The car has so far not had any bad mechanical issues, but if it did I couldn't be confident that they would have told me about them. I've owned the car for about 9 months now, the first sign was discovered immediately, obviously a shattered emblem is hard to miss, but then the broken pieces in the bumper about a month later. I discovered that the left fender had been replaced only two weeks ago. Figured I'd update this review to let people know my honest experience. All said and done it was still a smooth transaction and the employees were more than kind, but now I'm wondering if it was a ploy to get me out without calling out the obvious damage.

I recently was in need of a vehicle but I didn't know if I wanted a Audi q8 or Q7. I couldn't find a deal on an Audi q8 and I saw that they had a Q7 I called the dealership and they were great and very transparent of the vehicle and I almost want to go buy it but last minute I found an Audi q8 for the price that I wanted and I went with that one I didn't buy a vehicle from these people but they had great customer skills and very transparent I recommend buying from this dealershipThank you so much Tom and Roy for all your help I wish you guys the best

What an amazing place to buy from. They are straightforward, upfront and honest. They are not pushy, they don't add on those crazy fees other places do and they are just nice and friendly. Highly highly recommended.

Very good used car guys. We traveled over an hour and a half on 2 different days to see one of three used Subaru Baja mini trucks Certified Motorcar had for sale. The car was exactly as described in Cargurus and Certified's web pages. It was clean, serviced, and ready to drive away right on the lot. The selection of nice vehicles was actually very good for a smaller city car lot. We returned a week later and bought the truck. Thomas and Roy both gave us great service, and are straight shooters. They kept their word on everything I asked for, and followed through to make the deal. Thomas is a very cool car guy whose passion is classic cars... just ask him about his 60's Falcon!

Please do not buy a car from here!!! The sales man wasted my time. I went there to look at a car for my dad. I came the next day with my dad. My dad loved the car and he test drove the car. My dad said specially he will be back Tuesday.They both had a great conversation stating about insurance on what he needs to brings. My dad told the sales man that he needs to call his bank to let them know that he going to withdraw that amount. So my dad couldn t put down his deposit. But by seeing my face a second time in less than 24hrs. The sale man should have known that I will be back. But this sale man did it out of spite to get it out of his site. I understand this is a job. I have been in sales for so long. But when I see a customer less than 24hrs Im going to put some trust in them and plus I had a conversation with them on insurance and money. Everybody goes through money issues. But this man he sells the vehicle to someone else. Today is Monday. We went there on Friday. This sales man is making up words he thought my dad said, to makes himself feel like he did something good. But Karma will get him. Do not trust this person. Do not get a car from this person. If you decide to get a car from this company, you will have karma following you next. Tell a friend to tell a friend.

Great place. Very easy to work with. Made buying a car quick, easy, and painless. Car prices were reasonable and dealer fees were way more reasonable than other places around. They were super friendly and willing to make sure we were satisfied and set before we left. Will be passing along word to friends!

Best car buying experience I've had in a long time while buying a used car. Thomas is a priceless gem Lisa is the muscle working for you and Roy is a sweetheart letting you know the history of the cars he buys. I traveled from Dutchess County to NJ to purchase my car and I'm so glad I took the chance with them. They didn't disappoint at all and went above and beyond all of expectations. I'm loving my car and plan on buying another from them soon. I'm so grateful God did create an honest used car dealer. They don't want your money they want you happy leaving their dealership.

Did my fair share of visiting dealers the day i visited here. Went to 7 places and Certified Motorcar was my last stop before giving up for another day. Every place i went to before here, the price was either ridiculous for the car (had multiple problems and wouldn t come down on price) or just too many problems to where i couldn t test drive. Coming here i was greeted and was able to test drive quickly. Some minor problems that they promised to fix (and they delivered) and reasonably priced. They called me back quickly once the car was ready for me and were very patient. Once i seen the car it looked brand new! They cleaned it so well after a snowfall day. As my first car I m so grateful i did business with them. Thank you to everyone here who helped me get my Mini. And if you re a customer and reading this, hurry to them now! Good deals that are getting taken quickly!

I traveled two hours (with my two small children) to buy a honda odyssey. I had already had problems in the past with dealerships telling me a vehicle was available, and when I arrived it was already sold. I was very worried about driving two hours, and having it not be available when I arrived. The owner assured me they would hold it for me. They made the whole process so quick and easy. I was able to trade in my Toyota, and leave with the Honda in no time.I then took my Honda Odyssey to a honda dealership in PA to get recalls fixed for free, and decided to save time and just have the inspection done there as well (big mistake). They would not pass the van, stating that it had a bad power steering rack and would cost over $2,000 to pass. I contacted the owner, who then had my van taken back to NJ so his mechanic could fix the problem. Long story short, the Honda dealership was just out to make more money, there were no issues with the van. My van was brought back to me and I took it to a family owned business and it passed inspection without an issue.Certified Motorcar went above and beyond for my family! They are definitely trustworthy and worth your business!

Certified Motorcar made getting my new car so simple and enjoyable. They were open and honest about the cars history and in answering any additional questions I had. The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met and help make you feel confident in your purchase! I also spoke with one of the guys who worked there, Nando, who was very friendly and outgoing and gave great customer service. I'm confident my car will last me a long time, but would definitely recommend my friends come here to purchase a car

Purchased a 2010 Jag XKR at this dealership. What a pleasant and smooth experience! Thomas was extremely helpful, honest, no hidden fees and zero BS!!! Bought a solid car in great condition. He was extremely helpful with all of my questions and went and extra mile to make sure we are taken care of in the best way possible. Will definitely talk to them again when looking to replace my SUV. Highly recommend!!!

Wow! I found this dealership via CarFax and was a bit skeptical about the competitive prices (can never be too careful these days). But WOW! What a great experience. The owner, Thomas, and his team are honest, personable, accommodating and quick! I live three and a half hours away and Thomas held the car for me so that my trip was not in vain. Upon arrival, the vehicle was exactly as pictured. We were unable to purchase (our fault) right away, and Thomas worked with us to hold it until the next morning. The actual purchase of the vehicle took about a half hour! When I drove the car home I discovered that the temporary license plate had fallen off. I called Thomas and he emailed it within 15 minutes.I NEVER write reviews, but feel strongly about this experience. I will easily drive 3.5 hours again to purchase from Certified Motor Car again!P.S Don't make the mistake I did....it is a cash business (debit cards will not do).

My wife and I bought our first car, a Prius V here a couple months back. Lisa and her husband were very friendly and the entire process was a smooth one. And, of course, we are very happy with our car! If you re looking for honesty from a dealer, you won t find it elsewhere. I bought a corolla and it is in such good condition, besides the service being the top. All staff, from greeter, to office person, to the person who came for the test drive, to owners, were all so polite and courteous. It s family owned and they treat you as part of that family too. The next time I want a car, I m willing to work with these guys even if it ll take time for my make to come up on their lot.

I recently decided to let go of my 12 year old Prius and upgrade to a sturdier AWD vehicle that can handle the rough winters of my upstate NY mountain home. I come from a family of mechanics, and I am generally cautious when shopping for a used car. And, with that caution I set out across a slew of dealerships. In the end I endured the usual onslaught of dealer enticements and was almost ready to give up the search. And, then I found the folks here at Certified Motorcar. They are located more than 2 hours from my home, but the distance became insignificant when I saw what they have to offer, and how they offer it. They have a small lot with a few dozen vehicles, but all are extremely high quality. It is obvious that they only select and sell top quality vehicles, and they sell them at prices that are far more than fair. No added fees, no nonsense. But, the reason to buy your next vehicle from Certified is more than just the quality of the cars. It is because of the honesty, respect, and quality of service that you receive. I felt like I was in the company of genuinely good people, the kind of people I would want to have as friends. I don't think I have ever said that about another car dealership, but it is a compliment well deserved here. And, now a follow up note: a few weeks after my purchase I had an issue with the hybrid system on the vehicle that I purchased. The folks at Certified insisted without any hesitation that I bring the car back to their mechanic to have it checked out and set right. They clearly understand that their quality service will keep people coming back. I will certainly send everyone I know to them, and they will be my first choice when I am next in the market for a vehicle.

Purchased a 2011 Honda Crv about a week ago with a clean carfax, one owner and in excellent condition. Had one minor issue and without any obligation on their part, they took it upon themselves to help me resolve the issue. It is a great place to shop, great staff, and honest people. Excellent customer service and without any hesitation I will go back to purchase a vehicle from them. I highly recommend this dealership. Thank you Thomas and to the owner s for being considerate.

We have purchased several cars here and we will go back when we are in the market again. We will not shop anywhere else. The owners are absolutely amazing!! Their staff is so polite and courteous. Bought a car from them and over two years, it's been in the mechanic almost every month. Battery drain that no one can seem to find the location, tire pressure sensors that were never changed, transmission issues that were never fully looked into. About to sell the car and take our losses.UPDATE: Took car to the mechanic and left it for a bit and eventually they found the problem was a short in the electrical system. Long story short, if this dealer would ve had the car fully inspected instead of the usual quick look over, they would ve found the issue with the car. The car was known for having those sort of issues as Ford cars from that time did.

BUY with CONFIDENCE. By far, the best place I have ever purchased a car from. The cars they have are in pristine condition and priced at wholesale. I have never seen better presented used cars. Also, NO HIDDEN FEES! You only pay the mandatory DMV fee of $150 plus sales tax. Most every car is priced so it is a Car Guru's Best Buy or what you would pay as an Edmund's Private party sales. Thousands below dealer retail so no need to haggle. FYI, cars sell fast here. If you find one you like, ask fast. Can say enough good things about CM.

Too long, Didn't read: honest and friendly family run used car lot. If you're in need of a reasonably priced, quality used car, I highly recommend looking here.My girlfriend and I were in desperate need of a reasonably priced car after ours unexpectedly died on us. We looked everywhere and found nothing but insanely high prices or lemons. We were being wary of used lots, since people say they can be less than honest. Both of us knowing little of cars and not great negotiators, we were very worried about being taken advantage of. Especially since we were looking for Subarus which tend to hold their value well, but can also have significant oil problems.We are so lucky to have found Certified Motorcar LLC! We found they had some Subarus listed online. As soon as we spoke with the owners we could tell that this place was different. It didn't feel like we were being fed a line and rather than trying to push us into buying something, they just gave us the keys to take a look at the cars we wanted to. While we were out in the lot checking a car over for about an hour, they did not hover around us, or even come out to rush us. When we went back to the office to ask them questions, they were extraordinarily upfront, friendly, and helpful!Afterwards we went to Honda dealership to check out a used Subaru, which was the sleaziest experience of my life. Before we even got to see the car they required so much paperwork and information about me, you'd think I was adopting a child! The Subaru that the Honda dealership had there ended up having a lot of problems, and when we spoke with the dealer about price, there were, no joke, $1000 worth of BS fees.After our terrible dealership experience we decided to go back to Certified Motorcar LLC, as soon as they next opened. In contrast to the Honda dealership, this lot does not require any information until you test drive, and that is only your driver's licence. Most notably, THIS LOT ONLY CHARGES $150 on top of the online price, THERE ARE NO ENORMOUS HIDDEN FEES LIKE EVERY OTHER PLACE OUT THERE. We drove off the lot with 2010 Subaru Impreza with 71,000 miles for only $7,000 after taxes. This was on the very low end of the Kelly bluebook value.In a time of crisis, and the chaotic ordeal of used car shopping, this family run used car lot is a bastion of friendly honesty and genuine helpfulness. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonable price on a quality used car.

We brought our first car, from Certified Motor Car in Nov-2018. What impressed us the most during the purchase was the politeness of everyone in the shop ; beginning from the Gentleman who accompanied us for the Test-Drive, to the Mechanics, to the Sales-personnel in the shop everyone was patient and courteous ; the proprietors, Ms.Lisa & Mr. Roy are two amazing people, and personally, we've never seen such courteous people in this business.Subsequently, after almost a year later in Nov-2019, we were on the Market to buy another car ; Needless to mention, our choice was Certified Motor Cars (CMC) ;Once again, we were dealt with utmost courtesy and honesty ; Mr.Roy/Ms.Lisa worked with us through the whole process, and helped procure a vehicle suiting our needs fairly quick. We had a minor glitch after our purchase, yet CMC resolved it for us in a very transparent manner in almost no timePersonally, the confidence with which one can buy from here, is the USP of the process. The 'worry-free' part of the purchase is what gives utmost confidence to an end-user. Thanks to your whole team, for making the process 'worry-free' and comforting !
