Have used them many times for all types of work on various vehicles. Professional, honest and accommodating. Always also willing to show me afflicted parts that are taken off in the event of a repair versus simply maintenance. Will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Excellent service and reasonable prices. John really knows his stuff. Replaced brakes, radiator, and suspension on 2011 Jetta and diagnosed A/C problem on 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Very responsive and always friendly service. Great shop and the owner Jon is very honest and trustworthy never trying to rip people off he actually cares about getting the job done n at good prices..he s been my mechanic Since day 1 and he s always taken care of my auto problems..his wife and staff are also very friendly..kudos to the front desk rep Mykhia she is very nice professional and efficient! To all of the staff KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK! n to anyone reading this and needs their car fixed go and ask for Jon u won t regret it but u can thank me later. Be blessed!

BSR Automotive, there is no better auto shop in this area. John is honest, professional and is fair in every way possible. I used to service my car at Toyota in Caldwell and believe me they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg and as a senior citizen fixed income I could not afford it. My neighbor than informed that John who used to work at Carnevale in Verona until Bobby closed the shop; opened his own business in Roseland NJ. I took the diagnostic report to John and had him check everything out for me and not only did he fix everything but found additional issues and worked with me. The quality of service at a fair price and dealing with someone who is so honest and forthright is a rarity in this day and age. There is no one I trust that will ever touch my car again. He is my go to man for everything including a simple oil change.

This place opened right down the street from me a while back and have quickly become my go-to place for anything auto related.As other people have mentioned, John is great at what he does and is super honest. There have been multiple time that I went to have him look at something, he told me up front that there wasn't any problem, and didn't charge me to have a look.They don't try to upsell you on oil changes and seem to be that rare, straight shooting, honest mechanic you've been looking for.

I'm a new resident in Roseland and decided to I bring my vehicle to BSR Automotive based on the reviews that I read. I'm happy that I did. The staff is personable, responsive, friendly and fair. My overall experience is exactly what you look for when working with a mechanic/body shop. I have no doubt that you will have the same experience if you give them a try!

John is awesome. He is a excellent mechanic and very honest. He offers excellent quality work and timely delivery. If anyone is in need of any type of car repair or maintenance BSR is where you need to go with you car.

Had what felt like some serious engine issues with our Volvo, pulled into this garage off 280, the mechanic looked at our car immediately, figured out what was wrong in five minutes, fixed it and sent us on our way. Very thankful we found them, can t recommend highly enough! He s a lifesaver!

John and his BSR Auto team have always done excellent work repairing my car's as well as my mother's. What makes the difference for me is that John shows you what is wrong and explains thoroughly until you understand and I don't get that with other mechanics. There's a dozen garages near my house but I make the drive to BSR every time.

I've been calling around asking for quotes on an input shaft bearing noise I have. BSR asked my mileage and suggested I double check with Subaru if it's under warranty first. He was right! He, like all the other shops I called, could have just went with it and given me a quote and sucked me dry, but he was honest and saved me THOUSANDS! Thank you so much BSR. When I have an actual problem outside warranty, I will certainly go to you first

Made the mistake of purchasing a car from these guys. From the day I drove it home from their shop it was an absolute nightmare. They sold it to me with the wrong exhaust headers on the car, so it leaked and smelled up the whole cabin. Took it to a reputable shop to find out they sealed it temporarily with silicone paste so I wouldn't notice. Blew out within the first week. But the worst thing was this: it would not start up in the cold. They had it running every time I went to see it. Got it home, tried to start it the next day, cranked but no start. Ignored my calls and texts of course, just a shady guy who owns an even shadier shop. Super dishonest, says a lot about how he chooses to run his business. I wouldn't trust these guys with my Razer scooter.

These guys are the nicest people. They looked at my car and made some minor repairs. Meanwhile, I thought I needed way more repairs. They were honest and told me I didn't need any other repairs at this time. Great sevice.
