Highly recommend, Bill is the best of the best! Very knowledgable, kind and honest - something that you don't see often when it comes to auto shops.My car wasn't in drivable condition and I needed assistance asap. Bill found time in his busy schedule to look at it that same day (I believe it was during his lunch break!), called me and thoroughly explained what the main issue was and fixed it the next day. My car needed a couple of other not so urgent things done, which again was explained to me in details so that I could make an informed decision without feeling pushed or overwhelmed.Thank you Bill and everyone at Tubby's!

First time using their service and I brought my truck in for an oil change/tune up. All the guys there were extremely polite and personable. Treated me like family. I highly recommend!! Bill was there when I picked it up and I'm not sure who I spoke to on the phone to schedule to bring it in but they were both very sweet.

We really just started bringing our cars here and I can honestly say we are so happy to have found a mechanic that is honest, professional and a pleasure to do business with. thank you Gary, Bill and the rest of your crew for getting our cars in great shape. Still the most honest and professional Auto Center available. Today, this is difficult to find. They let you know what work needs to be done and why, in detail; gladly answering questions, so you will understand.(First review 2 years ago):This is your 100% honest quality Auto Center. Excellent service, friendly informative staff. If you want your automobile fixed professionally, this is the place.

I had a great experience at Tubby's Auto Center. I went for a free oil change at Ford where they tried to rip me off for a $1600 A/C compressor, and had me scared that something was really wrong with my car. I explained all my concerns to Gary and Billy and they addressed each and every one of them. They also told me Ford was completely trying to rip me off. The most important thing at the end of the day is the peace of mind I received after getting the call from them that everything was okay and only a few minor issues were fixed. Tubby's are honest guys who treat their clients as if they were family. I now feel more comfortable than ever having my car taken care of by them. I would highly recommend them.

Very poor service, did not fix what was wrong, and they would not fix or pay the money back. Would never go back horrible service!! Is there an option for no stars?

I can't say enough good things about this place. These guys are honest and dependable. Have used them for a variety of things over the past few months and have been happy every time. They clearly explained the problem, what was needed to be fixed, and how much it would cost. If you are anywhere near Red Bank and need a reliable mechanic - bring your car here!

Absolutely great repair shop. My life is richer for the fact that I can call Tubby's with a car problem, drop the car off, get the most honest and professional evaluation of the problem and get it fixed without any headaches at a good price. I wish all my service providers were this good, it would be heaven.

It's a great shop. They are always honest and won't overcharge you or tell you a million things are wrong to get money. They do the job and do it well. I trust them with every job i need to get done. Highly recommend to anyone

My truck broke down in Red Bank today. I'm from out of town and was not sure what shop to go to. I found Tubby's on the internet. They were fantastic! Bill fixed my truck in two hours and for a very reasonable price. We were able to get back to work, finish the job and get home in time for dinner. I wish we had Tubby's in my town. Thanks again Bill!

I would highly recommend Tubby's to anyone. They are honest and do a fantastic job. Every time I've gone there, they've taken the time to explain what the problems are and ways they can fix it. They always go above and beyond in looking at what other problems could be going on. My most recent visit, they squeezed me in on a busy just because my brakes were in such bad shape.

I would recommend Tubbys to all my friends and anyone else looking for a good mechanic. My whole family has been going there for years. They have worked on our cars and never had a problem after the repair. All I can say is that there honest, nice people, hard workers, and fair on pricing. What some people don't realize is that they are master techs. I see all these bad reviews and I know that they are lying just so they won't have to pay or Payless with some backyard "mechanic"

Honestly, these guys are so so good. They go above and beyond. Excellent at what they do and determined to fix it the right way, and cost effectively. Billy explains everything going on with the car so thoroughly. I just can t say enough good things about Tubby s. So glad I found them!

My family has been coming to Tubbys for the last 20yrs. These guys are masters at what they do. Honest staff. Their pricing is fair but their work speaks for itself. Billy is the man, he's my go to guy.Ps: they also work on diesels, big plus!

Hmmm...$785.00 to replace a rear bearing and rear brakes on a Nissan + $49.00 diagnostic fee...... nice guy BUT........
