I had some new tires mounted on my rims here. Very unhappy with the treatment of my property. They scratched my rims up pretty bad. Not very satisfactory job in my opinion, left something to be desired in terms of being careful with my property. If you have rims that are worth something, don't take them here.

Very honest and kind! Such a wonderful clean experience with Mr. Tire of Raritan. I appreciate them so much, especially after I had a despicable experience over at Fullerton Dealership. Happy to find a good local reliable honest mechanic!

This shop is operated by lazy swindlers. You're better off going anywhere else.I came here 4 months ago for 4 new tires. The tires were extremely overpriced but I figured they'd do a good job because it's a tire place. I also paid for an alignment.When I went to pick up my car, they charged me an additional $150 for warranty without asking or disclosing. I didn't notice it until I got home and reviewed the bill. Also, my alignment was worse than before.One month later, I ran over a nail and got a flat. I patched it with a kit and it was fine for a few months. Then cold weather arrived and the same tire went flat again. I brought my car to Mr. Tire and asked to use my $150 warranty for a repair. They refused stating that I lost the warranty when I patched the hole from the nail.The next day, I went to pick up my car. They charged me $40 to "patch the valve stem." The following morning, the same tire was flat again. Apparently, Mr. Tire merely put air in my tire and charged me $40.Do not waste your time and money here. Literally any other shop in the Bridgewater-Raritan area will provide you with better services for a better price.

We were traveling out of state when we discovered a bad tire. After calling everyone on Google, we were about to give up. We called Mr Tire, and all 4 tires were in stock, and they could take us right away. John was at the front desk and couldn't have been more accommodating.The price and service were unparalleled! We are so grateful for the team who took great care of us. The car was even washed!10 stars!

The worst experience I've had with car repair. I called at 10am on Friday to ask if they could look at my brakes. Jeff said sure, bring it in and we'll look at it. I made him well aware that I needed to have the vehicle back by 5pm and that if they couldn't make repairs, don't take it apart. He said 'no problem'. I brought my vehicle in and several hours went by with no call from Jeff or his team. I had to call at 2pm and they were just going to bring it in to look at it. I reiterated that I needed my vehicle by 5pm...once again, "no problem". Got another call at 4pm and was told my Jeep was torn apart and they don't have the correct parts to make repairs today. And it would be done first thing in the morning. No apology, no attempt to put the car back together so I can drive it that evening. I called at approximately 6pm and was told they ordered the wrong part and that my Jeep MIGHT be done by noon on Saturday. In the service industry, all they had to do was say 'no' and I would've kept any respect I had for this place and gone somewhere else. But they didn't want to lose my business. But by not telling me the truth, they lost my business in the future. I work in Somerville and have 75+ employees and 40+ fleet vehicles...none of which will ever go to Mr. Tire.There are a lot of places in Somerville/Bridgewater area to get your car repaired...Please choose ANY place other than Mr. Tire so you don't have to go through the stress and lack of communication that I had to go through.

First new tires and alignment on my car since it was bought new. Tires I wanted were not normal stock but were available within just a couple days and exactly what I was looking for. The car drives perfectly straight and smoothly again just like when it was new. They were perfectly mounted and balanced (had the car at 80mph and absolutely perfect) and the car tracks precisely straight. They checked my brakes for me and found they had plenty of life left and didn t try to push for brake service I didn t need. Really appreciate that! I am also very pleased with the free rotation and optional road hazard insurance. Having to previously patch two tires, I feel like it is a worthwhile insurance I very well may use. Tire plugs cost more than they used to! I overall had a great experience start to finish and I would recommend this shop and will be returning for service for myself and the rest of my household.

Dropped off 4 wheels with old snow tires to be replaced with a newer set since one tire had a bubble. They absolutely tore up the barrel of every wheel, and cut up the insides of the tire bead on the older set of tires.When confronted about the damages the manager immediately starts spewing BS. He tried telling me that s how tire machines operate , and that there was no wrong doing on their end As far as the tires, the manager blamed dry rot since they were old(except they have zero cracking).In the end the manager KINDLY offered to refund me $50 on a $162 bill. This shop takes zero accountability for their actions, and tries to gaslight you into thinking that this damage is normal.Stay away if you value quality work because they re certainly not cheap.

Never in my life have I been told shame on me . I scheduled an alignment for my 2006 dodge magnum which I daily drive (in all weather, over speed bumps, etc).When I arrived I was told shame on me for not disclosing that my car was lowered from factory height and that they wouldn t be able to drive or align my car.I ve been to 10+ alignment shops across the few cars I ve owned and never in my life have I even had a complaint about scheduling an appointment for an alignment with a lowered vehicle, let alone flat out denying it.If this is a standard work practice of this shop I would think there would be a series of questions before even allowing the scheduling of an appt.The car isn t even that low, the top of the tire is visible under the line of the fender, it s not like it s some frame on the ground stance car, just a mildly lowered station wagon.

Had a great experience getting new tires at Mrtire! They were super helpful every step of the way, once my tires came in they had my car done that afternoon ready for me to pick up and drive. Highly recommend them and Greg was a sweetheart I probably called him 7x with questions and he was always willing to take the time to answer them!!

Victor at the upfront desk helped me a lot, they got me new tires, alignment, new filter for engine and cabin and also a oil change at an amazing price, definitely will be back.

This is a really great place if you re big on customer service, staff was amazing all around the board.I didn t get the gentleman who did my alignment on my Acura Monday, April 3, 2023But please and thank you acknowledge that Man with something more than that a boy head on the back.He took his time explain what was my problem with my vehicle and how it can be fixed. All while offers all service of STS, great experience and for me a 10 out of 10 Thank You to Staff, Management, & District Office for putting together such a great team.-Torres

They're great for oil changes, and always will negotiate tire prices, etc to remain fair.Fair warning, they do upsell. Case in point, the picture attached, I was told that my wife's brakes were at 5mm on one side and "nearly metal to metal" on the other side. I do my own brakes, so I ordered parts and went to go the job. Their inspection was either way off, or they have a push on brakes. The pads in question are in the attached photo, each still has significant life left in them.I'll keep going because the work is good, but it makes me more skeptical of their "suggestions."

While I waited, Mr. Tire's Raritan NJ ace mechanic was able to replace my 2016 Hyundai Tucson's steering wheel's right side button controls in under an hour.P.S. The local dealer couldn't schedule me for two weeks, wanted me to leave the car, and needed 3 hours minimum labor.Well done Mr. Tire!

After a bad experience at Mavis Discount Tire I took my car to Mr. Tire. Greg and John were very courteous and helpful. I had to replace the tires on my Tesla and they were able to do this without any problems. And they were open on Labor Day so I didn't have to worry about taking time off from work to get this done! I will definitely be returning to them in the future.

Mr Tire of Somerville has always been great. The staff are informative and very helpful, and have always been straightforward in what they offer and what services they are performing on my vehicles. No gimmicks, no nonsense, no BS. If they tell you they can replace your tires or fix a flat today, they mean today. If they say they can't get it done until tomorrow, they mean that too. Their pricing is always competitive, and they go the extra mile to find discounts and rebates when buying new tires. I will always go here before anywhere else for my vehicles.

John was excellent. I wasn't in my home area so they got 4 tires changed and an alignment done quickly. Got me back on the road and the car drove great! I definitely recommend this place and will also recommend them to my towing customers that go to that area

This was the second time I've used Mr. Tire. I didn't write a review the first time, but I should have. The service is outstanding and the pricing for my tires was highly competitive - within a very few dollars of one of the online giants, which of course would have required shipping. They got my 2018 Audi back on the road quickly. Highly recommended and will definitely use Mr. Tire again.

my first mistake was i came to mr tire a couple of months ago to buy all tires and my second mistake i repeated my first mistake coming here today. for brakes change $1400. i got them fixed in $240.

Good for getting your tires changed, and maybe an alignment. Other than that, Their quotes were expensive, and BMW gives me better prices for work and labor on OE parts. Yikes.

Today March 7, 2022. I talked to John the manager of Mr. Tire. I explained to him how my serpentine belt was making a noise, i had done it about a year ago so it doesn't have warranty. The guy that did it when I got it done didn't do it correctly and i paid $120 dollars for the service because it needed to be done with the oil change. After the service for the belt was done i had took it back to get it checked out and it will still making a noise. They checked it out and didn't do anything to the belt. they had said they adjusted the belt but that wasn't the case. It will still making a noise and nothing God done.John the manager or sales associate was very rude on the phone. The warranty had past a Week over and he didn't offer to help me out at all. Very rude communication and didn't give me customer satisfaction. I will never take my car there again and he hung up the phone after he said that my warranty was done and i couldn't get any help with it unless i paid for a new belt and the service. Very unreliable people and liars.

Its very shameful to see how some people conduct business. Today, 8/15/22, I took my 97 Tahoe 2 door in for an alignment. When I was waiting inside to speak with them about the service I watched one of their employees hit my car door with another customers car door. After going outside and confirming it was hit, I confront John the manager, he then came out and looked at the damage. John looked at the damage and insulted me and my truck saying the truck is old and not worth fixing, and refused to let his employee continue the alignment. After insulting me, John walked away from me without even trying to work things out. Not only do I still need an alignment, I now have a dent in my passenger door of my rare two door Tahoe. Being a business owner and a customer of mr tire for a few years now, Mr Tire was the only place around me that did alignments on classic cars, however I can now assure you Mr. Tire is not the place you want to bring your vehicle too. They are negligent, unprofessional and rude.

I went in a few weeks ago and John the manager was very pleasant and informative. He didn t try to persuade me at all. He gave me the offers that were available. I came in today to see if he would honor the offer and he did!! I also have a friend coming in on Sunday because he was so helpful and friendly. He made sure to inform me of the issues with my vehicle as well. I shopped. Costco, Nissan and Mavis before purchasing! I suggest you all get service from here!

I cannot say enough good things about John at the counter in Raritan. He is so informative and addresses every question in a very calm and professional manner. The tires that he recommended are awesome on my pickup and look and ride much better than what I had from the factory.

The service was excellent -- everything was explained to me, and options were presented that didn't make me feel like they were just trying to get me to buy more services. I needed tires and new rear brakes, and the work was performed in the time frame they told me it would take.My car almost feels like brand new. :-)
