Customer service at its finest! Ed and Nick took care of everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING needed to have a smooth car buying experience. Best finance lady on the east coast. They will get the job done.Took a flight from Colorado to New Jersey and Ed offered to pick me up! Everything I was told about the car was honest and even better than I imagined.Great work to the team at Central Auto Group.

I purchased a vehicle from them 2 weeks ago. They really are the best. Most places when you leave the lot you are on your own. I have had some issues with the car and they have repaired it for me. It's a great piece of mine when you feel like family. Definitely give Nick a call if you want a great affordable used car.

Bought a few cars here over the years. The owners are generally pretty nice and will do whatever they can to help you get the financing for the car you want but be very careful about what you decide to purchase. Make sure any work that needs to be done to the vehicle is done before you pay and sign the documents. Last time I bought a BMW from them it had a headlight out and they said they ll get a new one for me it ll be cheap. Turns out the entire control unit was missing it cost $450 to fix after they wouldn t take responsibility. The window actuator was also broken and it took nearly 2 months of nagging them constantly before they finally had time to fix it.I m not saying you shouldn t do business here but be aware of what you re buying and the potential problems it may have.Other than that if you have bad credit and you re not working with a lot of money, they ll help you get a car.

ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE ARE 100% REAL. If you are looking for a functioning car do not go to this place. These people took advantage of my limited car knowledge and sold me a total junkbox. All of their cars have some sort of problem they don't tell you about. My brake lines were shot after the first few days of me owning it then the engine gave out after a mere two weeks of owning the car. I call the owners and explain what happened and they have every excuse under the sun on how it's my fault and not theirs for knowingly selling me a terrible car. And just for the record I am a customer that went to this auto lot and I have the paperwork to prove it. I am now out thousands of dollars. Do yourself a favor and NEVER go here they sold me an extremely unsafe car that could've cost me or someone else their life. Also notice how all the bad reviews have several likes and the good reviews only have one like from the owners.

The best in the business . Being a disabled father of 4 boys I need a big vehicle to fit 6 . These guys made sure to get me into the right vehicle. They went above and beyond. They deserve 10 Stars. Highly recommend!!

I purchased a 26 year old car from here for mostly sentimental reasons. My expectations for the cars condition were low but my trusted mechanic at home was impressed with the condition of the car considering its age. All the information Nick gave me to make my decision was reliable. No games what you see is what you get and I appreciated their transparency. Hopefully I will be able to share an update in a few years with my progress on the car. Thank you Nick!

Changed my review, bought the car and nearly 6 months later it started giving me issues on issues on issues. Put nearly $4,300 into the stupid car because the body was rusted, looks to have never been maintained in years. Right now im buying a new car from a different dealership.In conclusion, buy from a reputable dealership, not here, the cars are often times on their last legs. My brother got a truck from here and not even a year in the transmission gave out.

Recently had a positive experience with this small family business and was pleasantly surprised. They were recommended by a friend as being able to get a person with bad credit approved. Took my niece who is in this category, we were comfortable discussing her circumstances. Before even looking Nick told us what we could afford, we then looked and test drove a few vehicles in that price range. She ended up with a nice Toyota Camry she & I feel very comfortable with her driving. Thanks again Nick & staff.

While I ended up not purchasing a vehicle due to personal reasons I want you to know that Nick was Great!He was very accommodating, understood my needs and what I was looking for and worked with me.My decision not to buy the vehicle was strictly personal at this time.Rest assured I will DEFINITELY be going back to this dealership when I m ready to buy!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!! All the bad reviews are real they re so delusional to think people would just make them up! In the contrary the good reviews are FAKE!! This place is the worse dealer in the country they have a full operation to get very damaged vehicles they ll fix them up just so you can test drive and perhaps make it home BUT I GUARANTEED YOU IT WILL BRAKE ON YOU THE SAME DAY OR THE NEXT DAY!! They will do anything to blame you or pretend the car is not broken when I went there it had a check engine light they said no worries it s just a sensor we ll change it for you now, on the way home the light came back again it turns out they just deleted the code the car had a bad transmission as well as many other codes they just deleted to make the sale happen! A bunch of other clients that they have scam have contacted me to participate on a doc to EXPOSE THIS PEOPLE TO THE NEWS AND THE AUTHORITIES I THINK ITS GOING TO HAPPEN SOON I HOPE THEY GO THROUGH WITH IT BECAUSE IT IS UNFAIR FOR PEOPLE THAT WORK HARD TO BUY A CAR IN THE HOPES TO LAST FOREVER AS THEY PROMISE BUT IT CLEARLY DOESNT EVEN LAST A DAY AND THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL!!

I bought a 03 Mustang from Nick and Ed. Overall the experience was good. They were very patient with my purchase. I don t usually buy from small lots, but I didn t sense anything off when I was there and the reviews seemed OK. The car is good so far been about three weeks not sure what to expect from a 20 year old car. It needs some TLC for sure. All cosmetic stuff thus far. Nothing you wouldn t expect I guess. I would recommend this shop to locals.Constructive criticism:I would have liked my questions to have been answered in a timely manner post purchase. Something to work on.

First and foremost, Nick and everyone, there are decent people.The process of getting from point A to B pertaining to the purchase of a used vehicle was fairly seamless and comfortable.They handled themselves professionally.That said, Nick and family are salesmen, plain and simple. It doesn't matter where you go, whether it's a big box car lot or a small lot family-owned, their job to put food on the table is sales. Period!Now that that's out of the way, my wife and bought a beautiful white Cadillac SRX, not perfect by any means but taken care of.When I drove it I fell in love with it, I wanted to put gas in it so I could take it on the highway but was denied, I most likely would have seen the issue I am about to speak about when I drove it home the transmission showed its true colors. Due to my schedule, my wife was able to contact Nick and set up an appointment for me the next day and take him for a ride to see and hear what was happening and also to complete the pre-sales punch list, which was never done, he just rest the oil and the tire air was the same. The following day we dropped it off to be brought to the dealer, upon return the Cadillac technician told him to tell me that it needs to adjust to my driving... 120k and it still needs to learn this, I giggled and said ok, drive it real easy and no hard stopping call me at the end of the week, I drove it like a granny till Friday, called and told him it was marginally better still flaring, dropped it off again on Monday and this time upon return I was instructed to be a little more demanding of the vehicle for 30 days, it was better for about several hours or so of total driving getting worse every day.Still loving my new used car I was not about to give up, I contacted a friend of mine, a transmission specialist, and explained my plight, I even took him for a spin and then let him drive it as well, and his response to the experience was ... the transmission is shot and has been for quite some time. At that point, I made my appointment with his shop. I picked the Cadillac up this past Friday and I can say for certain I am pleased. It cost an additional $4600 on top of what I paid for the vehicle, which was everything from soup to nuts, a remanufactured transmission, shipping, gaskets and fluid and don't forget the most important, the programming. Best of all, it was covered under my warranty!!!So in the end I paid for shipping and my deductible. $346.10My advice to angry single-star reviewers and EVERYONE else with a brain reading this isn't to be mad at Nick and or his Family but mad at yourselves for not buying some sort of vehicle warranty coverage, it's that simple.The reason for my 3 stars is that everyone there knew exactly what he sold us. But he did recommend the coverage which I would have done anyway which got him 2 more stars,The last 2 stars were deducted because the Cadillac Technician not knowing what he was talking about or perhaps he did and Nick decided to tell me otherwise.Re-flashing or resetting the TCM by removing power for 10 minutes does nothing to fix flaring, slipping, or surging while driving. Those are mechanical symptoms, not software.Looking back it seems, all he wanted to do was string us along past his 30 days and make a few extra bucks using the extended warranty.

My fianc� had purchased a car from here two years ago and loves it. I visited this dealership today and was met with kindness, patience and determination to do whatever they could to help me get the car today, despite my difficult circumstances and I was met with zero judgements. I cannot thank the men that helped me today Nick & Frank. I was able to get a very nice car with a clean carfax, for a great price. I highly recommend you come here.

Nick and his dad are wonderful to work with. So is one of the guys who helped us and took my son for a test drive - sorry can t recall his name. We bought our son his first car from Central. They made the process so Easy. I was nervous with it being his first car and they put me at such ease. Nicks dad even helped us helped us lower our insurance through his contact at Our insurance. We are very pleased with our Mitsubishi Lancer. They are honest and knowledgeable. We highly recommend!

Nick, Frank, and Barbara were incredibly helpful and kind. I sat down with Nick and he was honest and upfront about everything. The car I ended up getting was in great shape when I looked at it, and after the detailing it was even better. I called Nick with concerns about the car before I bought it and he was very nice and understanding. All around kind and genuine people.

Talking with the gentleman right now that bought a ford taurus for 4k. Was told everything with car only to find out a week later after purchase that it had no break pads. It cost him more than what he paid for the car to fix it. Unfortunately he traded it in for an older car and couldn t enforce lemon law on it. Be careful purchasing a car from this place.

I just bought my first car here, a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, it fit my budget and I had a great experience at the dealership when I bought my car. Everyone was friendly and answered all my questions. My car runs great. When I had a problem with my brakes they fixed it for me, no questions asked and my car has been running beautifully. So far very satisfied and will most likely be purchasing my next car from these guys in the future.

Simply best car buying experience ever!! We always bought new, but for my daughters first car We just needed reasonable, reliable and SAFE. This place has a lot full. Ed and family were so easygoing, gave me a great deal on a Nissan Altima and even got me a much better deal on my current car insurance to boot, his son Nick got me 2 extra remotes and updated my address on my license in motor vehicles in 5 minutes. This is the place to buy a used car in the area! Highly recommended!

****UPDATED***I am actually a real customer **not fake** Poorly managed garage, terrible service. We support small businesses but our transaction with these people was a mistake we will never make again.Added: One year later, parts continue to fail FOLLOWING A COMPLETE ENGINE REPLACEMENT in our truck. We are now about 9 grand in the hole in addition to what we owe on the truck we were sold by these people. Disgusting.**edited to add that the vehicle left us completely underwater. The frame, wiring...none of it safe or functional after 2 years in our possession. I do not recommend this establishment.

I just got my car serviced for the second time at Central Auto Group, service was amazing! They got me in quickly and was able to accommodate my schedule (which is not easy, trust me). Did excellent work, (and I am very picky b/c my car is my baby) they replaced my clutch, and throw out bearing, fixed my lights, replaced my brakes, rebuilt my caliber, fixed my exhaust, and went above and beyond and even touched up a few other little things they saw just to be nice. Jesse was a great mechanic and Nick and was super helpful. Will definitely be bringing my car back here next time I need something. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be buying my next car off them! I respect and appreciate great work and people who take pride in their work and will personally vouch for them, anyone can contact me if they are unsure! A+ in my book!

My buying experience with Central Auto Group was excellent. Most of the credit goes tothe Sales Team and the Finance Team who were not only pleasant to deal with, but alsohelpful, fair, and honest. Everything they said they would do, they did.A special thanks goes to Chris G. in VW Sales, who even followed up with my InsuranceCompany the next day and called me to let me know he was doing so. Finally,I drove a fewhours in each direction to make this purchase and would do it again!!

These people are gonna sell you a piece-of-garbage car and then have nothing but attitude when you tell them how it's falling apart around you.It was real lucky for them that it was basically impossible to get an appointment with a different mechanic during Covid, because the car they sold me was dead in my driveway the next day with a shot battery and messed up starter.Since then it's needed new tires, struts, belts, axles, and now the fuel injector/general engine issues are starting. All in a year and a half.Do not trust any work they do. Do not trust any thing about them.
