This shop was VERY honest, and extremely fair on pricing.It's refreshing in this day and age to still have shops like this around. Additionally besides being honest and fair, the people I dealt with (Chris and Jonathan) were just generally very nice. I would use them for any future service.

We had a serious problem with our diesel truck during our vacation. This automotive centre was recommended by another company we called for assistance.We talked with Chris, who was amazing, and he managed to squeeze us into their busy schedule. Issue was diagnosed and a solution was found to get us back on the road. Chris was very personable and an all around great person. I m he mechanics here are excellent. If we lived in the area we would use their services 100% of the time.It is a bit tricky to find this place. We needed to drive around as Google Maps did not send us to the right place.

Nice people, very easy to work with. the shop looked organized and put together. I thankfully only came for an oil change but they made it super easy, they answered the phones when I called, gave me clear answers on when they would have time for me. they have a great system for receiving and paying the bills online since I was not there when they were finished and I was able to pay, and when I came there to pick up the car I was out super fast since I had paid already online. While I hope not to need more fixes for my cars, I plan to come back for more oil changes and whatever maintenance may come up in the future. I was able to find the location easily but if you don't see it so well from the street, keep in mind you have to drive around to the back of the building.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Johnathan & staff go above and beyond to ensure that your vehicle is properly diagnosed & repaired. They always provide their customers with options to save them money wherever possible. When repairs are complete, customers are promptly notified via text or call. We are very fortunate to have this honest facility right in our backyard...

These guys are great, trustworthy mechanics! I use them for my personal vehicles. I'm the type of person who usually does all his own mechanical work... but when I need help, I can trust these guys to get the job done right.

I've found a new service/repair shop! This place is great. When I took my car there for a major repair, they took the time to call around and cost out my options; they helped me to decide that the work wasn't justified given the age of the vehicle. Their honesty and helpfulness was much appreciated. The minor work that I elected to continue was done quickly at a fair price.

I really like this mechanic. As a woman every time I go into a mechanic I'm always told way more things are wrong with my car than there actually are. Mahwah Automotive is competent, they've always fixed my car issues the first time I bring it in, they're fair on pricing and they're honest. Probably the only mechanic to be honest about how much life I have left in my parts instead of suggesting me to change everything immediately. Definitely feel like I can trust them and that they'll fix my issue.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was recommended to Mahwah auto repair by a fellow jeep Cherokee xj enthusiast. I ve tried several other places that basically did band aid work. Car overheated 90 miles from home and was towed to the local Kia dealer. The next day, after I was informed by Kia that they couldn't even look at my car for 1-2 weeks, I had it towed to Mahwah Automotive Center. The next day, Jonathan of Mahwah Automotive Center had diagnosed the problem and made the quick repair. He also took photos of the various issues and emailed it to me so that I could better understand what were the problems. My only complaint is that I don't live close enough to have them be my regular mechanics.Service: Auto water leak repair

Over the last several years, between work and personal vehicles, I've probably brought a dozen different cars and trucks to Jonathan. Several Fords, a Lincoln, a BMW and a Mercedes.They've done a great job for me every single time. If you want a local mechanic you can trust, you'll be very happy with Mahwah Automotive.

Jonathan and his team are true professionals. Always willing to work on my truck, even though it is heavily modified with aftermarket equipment. Nothing I throw their way is an issue - be it working on regular maintenance, replacing OEM parts, or upgrading with aftermarket. I have even sent friends and family to them, all who have been extremely happy.

The most honest and professional mechanics any where in Bergen county . When you are a woman alone it is really hard to find a trustworthy automotive center. Thank you Chris and Jonathan and staff for your kindness and honesty!

Trying to find diesel mechanics is really hard, but Jonathan and his crew are top notch and pay attention to the details!
