I am named in two of the insurance company lawsuits ! Exclusive has alwaysdone 10 star service ! I understand the lawsuits against Progressive and allinsurance companies ! They tell all body shops what they will pay for, nothaving our best interest in mind. After market parts used parts I give Kudosto Exclusive for fighting for the money he deserves,they have no problemraising premiums without a word to the consumer we are being fed a bill of goods Health insurance and Life Insurance and how about Travel insurancethey care only about them selves ! I bring my car to certified people Exclusive is one of them they deserve what they deserve ! Progressive nowwill have to represent me and will they own up to there insurancepractices ? I bet not they will now have someone that has stood up to them for shortchanging them!

Scam artists. A few years after I got my car fixed here they sued me because they wanted more money even though they settled with the other driver s insurance company. No warning and no issue when my car was repaired. Out of the blue decided they wanted more money and sued. Look through the reviews they do it all the time.

Exclusive Auto did a fantastic job on my Audi. I wanted to use an Audi certified shop and was glad I did. Exclusive Auto worked with my insurance and even helped me setup a rental car. Everyone was polite, professional, and friendly.

DO NOT USE. I took my car here after being rear ended by a driver 3+ years ago in an accident that was paid for the driver who hit me and was insured by Progressive. I hastily received a lawsuit claiming that a court filing was placed against me, 163 other individuals, and Progressive insurance for the underpayment of services, despite this body shop quoting me and receiving most of the payment, and then dealing direct with Progressive thereafter. This "local" place is a FRAUD and SHOULD NOT BE USED by anyone in Bergen or Rockland County. And I also tell you to STAY AWAY FROM PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE, as they are of no help.UPDATE: "Not a scam artist like Drs and hospitals" is everything you need to know about this "business"...who sues its customers w/o any sort of notice for an issue w/an insurer that their former customers would probably support them with had they been told prior to being named a defendant in a FRAUDULENT lawsuit. This gives local businesses a bad rep and body shops a bad name. Thankfully there are much better ones out there.Service: Body & Trim

This is my first review I have ever left for any company and that s because this place deserves it. F d up my 2022 Audi and gave it to this place and within two weeks they replaced and fixed my mangled parts perfectly. Looks brand new. They were easy to work with, friendly, and understanding. Worked with the ratty insurance company and I didn t call anyone once. What a easy process going through them and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Exclusive is a peerless auto body shop. Their work is top-notch and honest; their customer service is friendly, communicative, generous, and kind. The team took possession of my 2020 Outback after an unfortunate deer-related incident and painstakingly restored it to pristine condition. I cannot recommend Exclusive highly enough, and would not hesitate to steer my friends, family, and colleagues toward the shop.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Auto detailing

If I could give 0 stars I would. We were recently served with a lawsuit for a repair done 4...that's right FOUR... years ago as the result of an accident that wasn't even our fault. Our car was hit while at a dead standstill by a woman who cut a corner. She was at fault. Her insurance paid for the repairs but apparently Exclusive felt they weren't paid enough and they came after us in suit. Mind you, they released the car to us after repair and payment from the woman's insurance company. Not once in all these years were we sent any information about this or a request or more money (which we would have fought). Not once. Until a lawsuit showed up on our doorstep. To be completely honest... the repairs were not even top quality and we waited MONTH, literally MONTHS with daily phone calls and atrocious customer service, for parts. Add to that the fact that the body shop must have done something wrong in terms of the repairs because it showed up on Carfax as 2 separate accidents. It must have had something to do with the excessive amount of time they took to complete the repair. Bottom line... don't trust this shop for anything. The owner should be investigated for his questionable activities and poor workmanship.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I would never ever use this body shop again!!!!! They don t deserve any star !!!They kept my car for 3 weeks for a job that should ve taken a week and kept making excuses. Insurance would not cover my rental after 3 weeks and when I contacted owner to let him know he had a hissy fit.Basically said he won t fix the car and I could pick it up and proceeded to hang up on me. At that point I had used up my 3 weeks rental insurance and did not have the option to go somewhere else. Or I should I say they used up my rental insurance!!!Ultimately he fixed the car by the deadline ONLY because of a mutual friend getting involved.When I picked up the car , car was filthy!! They didn t even have the decency to clean or detail the car!!!I would not trust your car with them whatsoever!!!

I have never had such a completely positive experience at an auto shop in my life. The owner, Mr. Tony Lake, gave every consideration and every bit of attention to making my experience and the work on the car to be the best possible. He explained everything carefully to me and noted how and why work needed to be done. The quality of the work was exceptional. In every respect - including price, courtesy, and workmanship, Exclusive Auto Collision is the best there is.

Stay away ( One star is one more than they deserve )They just sent out judgements/lawsuits against over 40 clients. My car was repaired by them 5 years ago and I just received a lawsuit for partial non payment. I was never contacted by them until someone appeared at my door and handed me the lawsuit. I immediately went to talk to the owner and he was not available, no surprise, but he did leave a message for anyone that came to the shop. The message was if you have an issue call Progressive . So the problem is between Exclusive Auto Collision and Progressive but the only way they could get their attention was to sue over 40 customers .and many of the customers they sued live in town and neighboring towns, total disgrace.Very bad business. Not to be trusted in my opinion!!!!!!!Service: Body & Trim

Professional, convenient and friendly from our first conversation, Exclusive made the car repair experience as painless as possible for me. Knowing I couldn't miss work, Exclusive sent someone to perform the appraisal at my work location for rear bumper damage. The repair turnaround time was surprisingly short and the work itself was on-point. Obviously I dont want to go through a car repair again, but I would give Exclusive my business without question. I can see why Tony Lake and his team have high praise.

Excellent and highly recommend. Have used them 3 times over the past 10 years for repairs due to minor accidents/fender benders. Each time we have received our cars back looking better than brand new. Thoroughly explained everything they needed to do after we dropped off and they had time to look at the damage. Received the car back in a timely manner. Usually within 2 weeks since they may have had to order parts. Would never use anyone else.

Had my wife's car repaired at Exclusive, This was such a easy experience. Exclusive handled my Insurance company's who did not want to allow for OEM factory parts, there paint work was so good the dealer could not tell it had been painted. Tony lake was so professional and honest i would recommend this shop to everyone.

Hi Everyone, sorry for the delay, but as promised, this is my follow up review to the previous review I wrote before Exclusive Auto started the repairs on my car . To say my car looks amazing would be an understatement!!! My car looks great and you would never know it was in an accident. It looks good as new! Thank you Tony, Jerry, and Matt. :-)(Previous Review) Please pay attention to this review.... I was in an accident that was not my fault and brought my Mercedes to Exclusive Auto Collision for repairs. Even though the accident was not my fault I decided to go thru my own insurance Liberty Mutual but they tried thru falsified appraisals (jacking up the prices) to force me to take a take a Total Loss on my car. As a Certified Mercedes Repair Shop, Tony Lake, the owner of Exclusive Auto Collision, looked at my car personally and told me my car was definitely not a Total Loss. His appraisal was almost $7,000 cheaper than what the Liberty Mutual appraiser quoted. To say I was shocked was an understatement! Tony made several calls to Liberty Mutual to try to get this resolved for me and dispute the appraisal that was done by Liberty Mutual. To make a long story short, without Tony fighting for me I would have lost my car. Thank you so much Tony for your help with this! You are definitely the peoples champ! FYI...I will write a follow up review after the repairs on my car are done but I know my car is in the right place at Exclusive Auto Collision! -Craig W

After getting into an accident, my car had some very extensive damage. This was honestly one of the auto body shops nearby so I slowly drove my car and as soon as I got there they set me up with a rental car service because of how bad the damage was ( hard hit to the back drivers side wheel causing a ton of underlying damage to the car) I was worried because not everything had been settled with insurance yet and they assured me everything would be fine. Later that day, insurance sided with me and the other persons insurance would be paying the damage. Fast forward to about 8k in repairs, the insurance company that was paying did no want to pay for new parts for my 2017 leased Subaru forester. The owner of the shop fought for me and told me not to worry and that it was ridiculous that the insurance company would put used parts (from who knows where) on my less-than-2-year-old car. The owner seemed to care about my safety, my kids safety and I was told that the quote from the insurance would be handled and brand new parts would be put on my car. They worked hard on my car and they were always reassuring me that I would not have to pay more than what insurance was paying me to fix my car. AND I DIDNT. They were EXTREMELY ACCOMODATING and fought for my car and my safety. I would 100% go back there for any repairs. Thank you SO much exclusive!

Sued me personally after failing to agree with my insurance company on reimbursement for work done 2 years ago. Did not contact me or request payment prior to filing the lawsuit. I was completely unaware that there was any dispute or outstanding balance on the work until I was served with a complaint on a Sunday evening. I now have to hire an attorney to respond to the lawsuit, which will cost far more than the amount in dispute.

Let me preface this review with keeping in mind my car hasn't been to shop yet. This is the pre-customer experience. Also some background, I own an 2013 Volcano Red Metallic Audi S4. I stopped short to avoid a front collision with a deer, but sadly while I was stopped a deer ran directly into the rear passenger side door. I am putting this claim through insurance.Reading the previous reviews on yelp about this shop, I am disappointed that for one there weren't many and second that two out of the three there were negative. Also they were not European cars either.My expectations for any professionally run business is number one, they are there to make money, they are not here for charity cases. Number two they should be responsive and respectful to there customers. Number three, they should have a standard of care and a process to ensure the quality of there work. These should all be apparent before dealing with the business.That said my pre-customer experience has been satisfactory as so far. Jerry came by and personally inspected my car and made it very hard to decline his services. Additional he noticed work done to my car in May 2016 when I had hit a deer in the front of my car and he was not impressed. (These deer are attracted to me I think??). Long story short $16,000 was the final repair billed to insurance. Jerry noticed that there were some serious imperfections in the paint and workmanship. I had discussed this with my previous auto body shop, they started rattling off excuses about how the paint is hard color metal never fits exactly like factory. I would have pressed further, but I don't know much about body and I accepted there work.I wasn't happy with there work and Jerry was able to identify a solution he told me that he could rebill the insurance company for the work done on my car previously. I was very happy to hear that he is specialist in his field and has worked with many Audi and Volkswagen products. Additionally he would be able to repair the damage that have I on the car now.I am looking forward to working with them and I will be completing a final review when the work has been completed. So far it has been an enjoyable experience.P.S: I noticed that Anthony has been responding to social media comments, so Anthony if your reading this. I take comfort in the fact that you have the mind set of "let's do this right the first time, instead of let's do this cost effectively and see how long we can get away with this".Thanks Anthony for being so professional.I hope this helps future customers of Exclusive Auto Collision.Thanks,Ryan C.

Brought in my Audi TT and couldn t have come out any happier. Finished product was above expectations and customer service was superb. I found Exclusive Auto Collision to be very reliable and trustworthy. 10/10

I would give them a 1/2 star or no star if I could. The shop fixed two rotten door sills on my 2011 VW CC under VW factory warranty. The job took 2 weeks longer than estimated. I had to make two trips back because they released the car without looking at the body line. No one check the finish work. All 4 doors, 2 sides were out of alinement. One so bad it was hitting the fender. There is overspray on the car. There is primer showing in the cracks where the work was done and sanding marks on the body where the protection ended. I know this is a fancy shop and very expensive. They always have nice cars out front. So maybe my VW with 100,000 miles was not important to them. Where is the quality control? How does a shop let a car out without anyone checking their work??? And after several complaints the door were fixed and the owner apologized and offered a free detail job. What other corners were cut? My advice check their work and use someone else.

Exclusive did a great job on my car. The work was done in a timely manor. Not only did they fix my car it came back cleaner than before! Great follow thru and the staff couldn t have been more helpful.

Worst Company Ever! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!I brought my 2009 Mercedes C300 to this location to get it re-painted. When I came to pick my car up it had a new dent in it which they refused to fix it and threatened to call the police on me if i did not leave. Second you can see where the paint streaks on the car. Also instead of putting my badge which should have been c300 on the car they put on CLS300. They are supposed to be Mercedes Specialists and did not even know what type of car I had, I had to tell them. WORST COMPANY EVER DO NOT GO!!!
