So we moved to Linden a few years ago and I've been looking for a decent mechanic since. Someone in one of my local fb groups had recommended coming here for a flat tire awhile ago. They were very helpful in fixing it. Just two weeks ago, I needed new tires and had to have something fixed with my steering. I brought my Nissan Juke in and left it with them to see what was wrong in no rush, since i don't depend on my car. It turned out to be the control arm and they fixed it. I did have to bring it back because it was loose and wasn't driving right. Robert was very communicative with me about what was happening and fixed the problem. Everyone there is really nice. I will definitely regularly take my car there from now on.

They have helped me more times than i can count. New tires, tire patches and fixed my window that was off the tracks when Nissan refused to help. They have always been kind, helpful and transparent. As a person who doesn t know a ton about cars, or mechanics, i never felt like i was being taken advantage of or overcharged. They are in the business of being your old school local mechanic, not trying to oversell you on stuff you don t need or doing more work than necessary. I ve also found them in the past to have recommendations for repairs they can t do that have worked out great. And though i know ownership has changed, i have noticed no difference in services or pricing. If you ever need a tire patched please come here! No appointment needed, done in 10 minutes usually and $21 by credit card. I am forever grateful for Apple Tire whenever i have a problem with my car i know they are there, available and fair.

Great shop really nice owner, the workers are also pretty cool. They get the job done fast and have great service Fixed my entire break system in a few hours on a busy day. Recommend to all my friends in the neighborhood !

Love this place! Great, honest service, fair prices. Have recently had them work on both disc and drum brakes, and put on a new set of tires. They even offer courtesy rides to/from a local address while your car is being worked on, but it s also fun to snag a seat in their lobby and check out their collection of vintage tchotchkes.

Robert and Dennis were so quick and fixed my issue for a very fair extremely fair price. I would recommend them. They took me in right away and I was done in less than 10 mins. Extremely knowledgeable and seemed like they actually cared.

It s so hard to find a honest reasonably priced auto repair shop. Well, I found that in Apple Tires in Rahway. I got a fair price with exceptional service! I had my truck back the same day as promised. The owner Robert was very thorough and professional in the explanation of service. My truck is back healthy again!! So far so good. I will be back!!

I recently brought my car here after it had started making some new/strange sounds. They were able to diagnose the problem and repair it the very next day! The owner and his team were extremely professional/helpful, explained everything thoroughly, and answered all the questions I had. They have affordable pricing and they provide you with a clear breakdown of the costs of parts/labor prior. They also washed my car for me at no additional cost! My car now drives like new and the noises are gone! I will definitely be returning here for any future services! Put this place under A on your contact list now !!!!!! So that will be the first thing you see. Yes, Robert and his friendly staff know and enjoy talking about tires but I learned they also repair your car as well. I was also pleasantly surprised when they gave my car a wash and remove all the potato chips crumbs I thought I covered.

This is my second time coming here first time was great, second time great just oil change but as soon as I get to my car I was about to leave I turn my steering wheel and see my leather was scratched. I touched it and tried rubbing it off but no it was obviously scratched, I didn t move I put my car in park upset with this and I know I didn t have previous pictures of my steering wheel but I drive my car everyday I know what s damaged and what s not. Of course being a female they dismissed me and told me it looked worn. I had just paid $85 for my oil change and now I have a scratched steering wheel with the owner saying basically it was there the obvious answer to anyone who doesn t want to provide fault. Just a reminder next time you plan to visit TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR CAR, STEERING WHEEL, ETC .Service: Oil change

Highly recommend! Apple was able to diagnose and fix a new sound my car was making before I needed to leave for a long trip giving me peace of mind! Extremely thankful they could fit me into their busy schedule!

I cannot recommend enough! I went in to have my brakes and tires looked at/worked on, and Sal and Frank were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout - I live in town and they were kind enough to offer rides from and back to the shop so I didn't have to walk in the rain. They took care of my car super quickly, clearly communicated what to expect in terms of cost - which was very reasonable, and my car is driving like it's brand new!Services: Tires, Brakes

This is one of the worst places, I ve replaced my two front tiers and he changed me $80 extra for the wheel balancing, the owner lied to me that he did wheel balancing but when I asked the worker he said no we did not do any balancing, please stay away from this place. I've replaced the front two tire around 2019Owner - Rather than telling me Loser, concentrate on improving your quality. I still remember the day I ripped off $80 (which I need to work hard to make it.)

I highly recommend this establishment!! Incredibly fair prices, great customer service, honest and capable!! I called for pricing and details on a specific part and service, the individual on the phone was very thorough and politefully helpful. He said he needed to call me back in a few minutes with the information, and he ACTUALLY did so. I explained I was in a hurry, and he was able to accommodatee immediately, and without a problem. I have used multiple local places, only to be ripped off or let down. Not this time! I will be returning to Apple for any of my auto needs.

For basic services (oil change, tire mounting, etc.), this place is fine but for more complicated jobs, I would look elsewhere. For context, I have taken my car here for oil change, tire mounting (ordered from Tire Rack and delivered to this location) and, most recently, installing passenger side front axle. Ever since the new axle installation, the car has a vibration during hard accelerations. More concerning are the metal clanking noise when driving over bumpy roads. It sounds like something is loose. I asked people who have done this install and I was told it's because they probably didn't have the correct tool for Volkswagen cars for a proper install. The work around is using a rubber mallet and hoping the bearings inside aren't destroyed in the process.Additionally, they didn't bother putting back the underbody plastic panels under the front bumper and now the main plastic piece that is directly beneath the engine is dragging on the street.I wanted to like this place since it's so close to me but I've learned my lesson.Response to owner's response:Looks like you didn't bother commenting on the actual service you provided me but instead referencing a review that has nothing to do with you. Perhaps you should focus on your own shop and mind your own business. Additionally, these guys will not call you when your car is done even though they tell you they would. Probably too busy chatting and not focusing on their business.

Got new tires and all new brake pads on my family's minivan. Have used them before for flats. Always professional and prompt. Honest guys, good rates, and work is of high quality. Way better than clueless people at PepBoys or the big chain stores. I will continue to support this local small business.

guys were quick, honest, professional and helpful. fixed a transmission fluid leak i had at a reasonable cost. other places quoted me an arm and a leg without giving a precise diagnostic, where apple tires got it all done and fixed within same day. would come back definitely for future exhaust work and other fixes if need be. would recommened to anyone!Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

These guys are great!! My car battery had died in a lower level parking garage at my apartment building in Rahway - they quickly came right over to jump start my car so that way I could drive it to the shop for a replacement battery! Fast, and friendly service!

Apple Tire & Auto care is home to the most hardworking honest mechanics around. The work is excellent quality at a fair price. Could not recommend this place enough.
