I had a flat tire while car was parked at my place of work on the day I was scheduled to go from one place to another with limited time in between! I did not even realized that Tiger Garage is located across the street. I arrived there with just 8 psi! Fortunately Troy jumped right into fixing the flat tire! It was fascinating watching him do this with such ease and confidence while he was explaining it to me. He said I ran over a large nail and the nail popped out so my tire had a huge hole. Troy said he was going to just plug and seal the damage and this should last the life of the tire.Tiger garage is Troy s father s small business. And Troy has been working there for 12 years, hence why he was so articulate and confident! I appreciate family owned small businesses. It s the ownership & pride that they commit towards their product and services that makes the difference at Tiger Garage, it showed yesterday! Today I m scheduled for oil change and maintenance! I might have just found my go-to garage! Highly recommend.

I made an appointment online for my state inspection. They accepted it. I show up, and he tells me I have to drop off the car. That s something they should have told me ahead of time. I had driven a half hour to go to this appointment. He said he had a lot to do today. If you overbook yourselves, that s not my problem. I had made this appointment on Good Friday specifically because I have off today. I have had state inspections before, and I m always allowed to wait there. It shouldn t take that long.

Wonderful!!! My 10-yr-old Mazda abruptly started making a loud grinding noise on a long wintry drive last week. I have always gone to the Mazda dealership near where I used to live, but here, the closest one was a 25-min drive away and had no openings for more than 2 weeks. Tiger Garage is a 5-min walk for me, and a friend had highly recommended them a few months ago. I initially ruled them out, since they didn't mention Mazda on the long list of cars they can fix, plus I figured there couldn't possibly be any good options in this neighborhood. But after several frustrating phonecalls to other places, I decided it was worth a shot. I was able to describe the problem and request an appointment time online (a huge perk, I hate the phone), and got a confirmation email the next day. Took my car in this morning, and had a good feeling, I think it's a father-son business and they seemed very nice. They called about half an hour later with a diagnosis and estimate, and had the car all fixed up for exactly the quoted price a couple hours later!! Very reasonable too. It was brake failure, which I last dealt with 25 years ago, and I paid considerably less today than I did to my dealership decades ago for the same repair! Thank you :)

Troy helped me out with a transmission wiring issue in my 2016 VW Golf. Also helped fix an oil pan problem.Very upfront about cost and expectations. Prompt service. Extremely professional.I will be returning next time I have an issue with the VW!Thanks!

This garage is the best. I have a rather old car and they are great at diagnosing issues. They fixed an issue with my AC for which the dealer wanted to charge $1k+.They are some of the most honest and straightforward people I have had the people I ve had the pleasure of doing business with.

Great local mechanics! I've been here many times for various services on my car because I know they are fair, trustworthy, and highly competent. My go-to anecdote that highlights both their attention to detail and their honesty: I once brought my car in to get my brakes looked at. They easily could've said it was X problem needing Y service, and I would've paid. But they instead took time to closely inspect my brakes and even test drive the car to feel the brakes for themselves. In the end, they determined there wasn't a problem (just minor rust from lack of recent use) and only charged me a small amount for the inspection time. When I go to Tiger Garage, I know they are going to give me a true diagnosis and only charge me for what is needed--something I definitely don't feel when going to autoshop chains in the area!

Had my check engine light on and needed an inspection for a 20 year old car. I was expecting a part or two needing replacement, which was exactly the case. The service here was great, providing details and explanations for every fee charged and they made sure I was ok with proceeding at each step. Best part was they got it all done in one day.

Very friendly and accommodating. I called approximately 2 hours before my car was towed to their location and they were more than okay with it. I got a fair price on my repair and they let me leave my car for a few days after it was completed until I was able to pick it up. Very honest and friendly people!

Tiger Garage is fantastic! They are fair, careful, friendly and fast. I always feel a bit uncertain with mechanics, especially the first visit, but my two experiences have given me 100% confidence in their skills and honesty. Competent workmanship at a reasonable price.I recently had a transmission failure on my vehicle and wanted to swap in a replacement unit from a junkyard rather than pay a dealer to rebuild mine. The manager was willing to accept a customer purchased part and installed it. I was back on the road within a week and the car's driving fine.

Tiger Garage was awesome! My daughter is a college student with an older vehicle. Sun roof got stuck 1/2 open. Rick repaired it same day at a very fair price. This is a most trustworthy business.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. They took two days and charged me $150 to misdiagnose and not fix a problem with my car. Then I went to another mechanic who was able to correctly diagnose the problem based on my description over the phone without even having seen the car. If you have anything more than a basic problem with a clear diagnosis, take your business to someone else who will actually be able to fix it.

Very fast service, affordable (especially for Princeton!) and it seemed to me they weren't looking to "up sell" or try to find things to fix that aren't really broken. This is so hard to come by, so we really appreciate this garage. I plan to bring both of our cars here in the future for any work that needs to be done.

PERFECT ! Service Engine Soon warning light in my Infiniti, then I noticed delayed automatic shifting. Then the car suddenly shifted itself into Neutral (and the tachometer went to over 8000 RPM before I noticed the cause). Tiger Garage accepted the car for an evaluation on a Monday morning, without appointment. Within an hour they gave me a phone call with an evaluation of the test codes that the problem was due to a faulty speed sensor giving erratic signals. They received the new speed sensor within another hour and my car was ready to go within 4 hours of my arrival at Tiger Garage. They are throughly professional, and fast. They deserve a perfect rating!

Visited Tiger Garage this morning to ask about a damaged bumper on my car. The employee behind the desk was rude and made no effort to be helpful. Drove to Fowler's gulf a couple minutes away on Nassau street and there was a world of difference - they helped me book an appointment for the next day and I was in and out in a minute.

It was a pleasure to meet an honest mechanic who did not changed parts in my car that was not necessary, so he did not overcharged me, who worked fast and was flexible and open for my special requests. I will be worth to me to drive from Pennsylvania to have my car fixed with Tiger Garage in Princeton in the future. - A Mazda 3 owner

Really great service. I showed up without an appointment (at around 8:15am) and they were able to help me right away. The mechanic was super friendly and knowledgeable.

They no longer give quotes over the phone, which is sad - they do great work and I was happy to recommend them to people. I just won't have work done somewhere if they can't give me an idea of how much it will cost to replace a part.

Rick and his son are honest and sincere. We take all of our cars to them. They are great mechanics and not to expensive. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

In town small shop with never than two mechanics in the shop when I was there, but the expertise, honest sharing of information, never push you into unnecessary repairs, don't have a full time secretary so sometimes hard to get on the phone when they are busy , but don't give up on it just because of phone not being answered immdiately, integrity and workmanship more than compensate for that...that is why they are busy so allow time if you want to get things done right... Beats experience I had with any of area dilership mechanics.

You know there comes a time in your life when you have experienced so many walks of life, by that you tried different Auto or Mechanic Shops hoping that whatever is wrong with your car , with hope IN your heart this one is different, this one will actually fix the problem. . I would have to say, if I could give this small place,10 Stars, I would happily. It's that if you weren't paying attention, you would pass right by it, thinking, "it doesn't have the Big Signs, poking out from the establishment. I can only say, I was so Happy and so Satisfied. You see , the LOVE and PEACE, that exudes from the Mechanics, it's the kind of Love and PEACE you get from your family, IN A BIG Way. That's the only way I can explain it. Rick is the guy could be trusted. My first car engine failed and was estimated to cost $3200 to fix here, while it was estimated to cost me $5000 to replace the engine in PepBoys.

Very speedy, honest, and cost-effective work. Not like other places that try to trick you into spending more on unnecessary and expensive service.
