We stayed in this hotel for five nights. Overall it was a great experience. The hotel provides free and gorgeous breakfast with good variety of options. There is a fully functional kitchen with enough stencils and cooking tools for a small family. One TV is in the living room and the second in the bedroom. One unique thing we want to give thanks for is the kindness of the manager. We booked eight nights but the situation turned out we only needed to stay five nights. We asked the front desk if we could check out earlier and a gentleman advised us to talk to the manager. To our surprise, the manager approved of request. I whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed in this chain before in other places. The service was definitely better in Princeton but the quality of the room was not. Lots of maintenance issues. The shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold and just the smallest drizzle coming out. The sheets felt dirty and itchy. Rooms spacious but very dated. These long-term stay hotels need better maintenance staff and cleaning standards.

I gave this place 2 stars because the room was a cool layout and had an upstairs and a downstairs and gave me and my family ALOT of room . However , when we checked in the guest service lady couldn t even tell me how to get to my room . When we finally found the room we had to walk past people sitting in the stairwells using drugs and my kids watching and listening to people asking for Percocet pills and talking about what it ll do to them . We finally get into our room and the bathrooms had standing water inside of the tubs and sooo many rust stains inside of the tubs . We also had burns from like cigarettes or joints in the lamp shades , on the furniture , and in so many different places . The hallways smelled like strong weed smells . I likely would never stay at this location again . There s another one in a better area not too far and that s likely the one I d book at next .

I facilitated training here, though the room set up was perfect, the temperature regulation was the only thing that was frustrating. Want to give MAJOR kudos to Sonie, who was so incredibly helpful! We needed more coffee and she had me walk with her to get a cup and then immediately said she would get us an entire carafe asap. She had a smile on her face and offered assistance with a big smile and clearly was happy to do so. Thank you so much Sonie for your bright and positive attitude and helping us so quickly! She deserves some serious accolades.

Firstly, my name is not Carmen Maldon . My name is Jeryl S. because I want whoever responds to these reviews to know exactly who I am. The suite size two bedroom I had was actually nice. Very homey and comfortable. Clean and spacious. HOWEVER HOUSEKEEPING STOLE FROM MY SUITCASE. This is not speculation and I have presented proof of this claim to management, corporate as well as South Brunswick Police (yes I filed a report). Total value of the two stolen items was $210. I actually would not be writing a negative review OR would not have went to the police if Sonesta had expeditiously righted this wrong by comping my items. Instead it has been more than 24 hours and I haven t heard a peep from anyone.I cannot recommend this place not so much because of thieving housekeepers but because of how Sonesta is handling this situation. Pictures of my suitcase and the compartment my items were stolen from.

I stayed here for one night on a work related trip. The employees at the desk were very nice and friendly. There is a nice outdoor pool you can use and a gym as well. They do have a complimentary breakfast but I was disappointed that it started at 7, I was on a business trip and needed to be on the road before that time. There is an area in the lobby that you can buy drinks and I believe they also had snacks available for purchase. All of the rooms are an outside entrance. I had a one bedroom which was very spacious. There was a living room area with a tv, a small table for eating and a kitchen area with a stove top, full size fridge, a microwave and items you could use to cook. The bedroom had a king sized bed and the bathroom / sink area were located at the back of the bedroom along with a closet which had a safe in it. Overall the room was nice and it was clean. The bathroom door in my room did not close all the way as it was getting stuck on the floor and made a loud noise if you tried to close it all the way and you had to slam the bedroom door past the bed as it was to big to fit past the bed easily. I would say that the only issue I had with staying here was that the walls seemed super thin. The couple below me was fighting and woke me up and I could also hear someone snoring throughout the night. I would stay here again, next time with a sound machine to drown out the other noise.***Update to add additional stay***I stayed again for work and had a 2 bedroom this time. Both rooms had bathrooms with the one in the master bedroom being larger then the other one. The master bedroom had a king size bed and the other room had a queen, both rooms were a nice size. This room was in the main building right up the stairs at the front of the hotel with only a few rooms in this area so it was very quite. The kitchen was bigger then the one in the one bedroom and had pretty much everything you needed if you wanted to cook.

We stayed for tow nights from 9-18-2023 to 9-21-2023 and I lost my electric heating pad. upon calling the hotel they said they would hold it for me. Since I don't live close by, the hotel I came back 10 days later to pick it up and it was not in housekeeping as previously reported. The manager told me that they never found the heating pad and the person that I spoke on the phone was not employed there. So I responded I speak and hear English very well and I would not stay there again as a result.

This is a great location. The staff is super friendly. We stayed one night in their two bedroom suite. I was worried about bugs with us staying on the first floor, but this was not an issue! The hotel staff are friendly and interact with the guests. We stayed with our dog. The landscape was well maintained. This is next to a major highway, but the rooms are soundproofed enough that you can t hear anything because all of the white noise around the hotel. The hot breakfast was great, they had a pancake machine, cereal, hot oatmeal, almond milk, 2% milk, fresh muffins (not the packaged kind you find at other hotels), bagels, croissants, hot eggs (scrambled and boiled), tacos, hash browns, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh delicious fruits. This hotel takes pride in what they do and care about their guests. Their pool is great! All around great service, clean room, and great hotel. I m definitely staying here again with my family!

Visiting again. A few things to knowRooms & Room Service: Fantastic (Stayed for 3 weeks)Cost: Moderate, watch out for the deals. Reach out to sales team for discounts if stay is extendedSuggestions to management- A dish washing detergent and scotch bright are good to have in case guests need to wash their dishes and dishes are minimal.- Ensure utensils are cleaned. I still gave a 5 star though this was minor. Found a utensil where a previous guest probably made scrambled egg and stored in the shelf. Something for housekeeping to watch out for, for future guests.- A great idea would be to let guests know to bag recyclables (plastic, paper) separately as opposed to bagging it with regular trash. Being nice on environment is a mandate these days. As guests we do our part, the management should do theirs.Overall great experience. Thanks to Vinnie, Grace. Great work in all respects.

Our family has been coming her for our annual family reunion for a long time. Bobbie is wonderful to work and does a great job. The staff is very pleasant and they go above and beyond to accommodate any special needs you may have that is within their capabilities. Love this place.Rooms: We always book the rooms with two bedrooms and they are very spacious.

Rooms were spacious. Our room was a condo-like setup. A separate bedroom with 2 full beds a living room with a pullout couch and a loft with a king bed. Kitchen with full sized fridge but not everything u would need to cook with. The room was very clean, the only real downside of the room was the very strong odor of the last guest curry meal. Breakfast was complimentary BUT was the same sub-par food the 2 mornings we were there and the 2nd morning almost everything was out and didn t seem to be getting refilled even tho there was an hour left of service. Also, the manager or owner was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. If you can visit without encountering him I would HIGHLY suggest it or you will regret visiting all together. It seems he has no people skills.

Where do I begin to explain how amazing this hotel is??? Bobby and all of the staff at sonesta are top notch and just overall wonderful. We have been coming to stay year after year for a family reunion. There is no place like it and we cannot wait to come back year after year. Thank you Bobby and all sonesta staff for making us feel at home and treating us like one of family. You all have become apart of our family as well.

One thing I like the hotel better than any others in the area is the comfortable size of the suite. Breakfast is a nice add-on.Rooms: Big size between living room, kitchen and bedroom.

Free breakfast. Very spacious suites with 2 big rooms, each with a King size bed. Large fridge and full kitchen included. The room has coffee machine with coffee packs, but no cream. Frontdesk provided cream packs, once they were informed.Hotel is next to Hwy 1. Parking is easy and adequate.

We have been visiting Sonesta Princeton for years now for our fanily reunion. We always look forward to seeing family we dont often get to see, and Sonesta is the perfect spotThe staff is accommodating and always willing to help out with our large group. We appreciate all the work and love the new renovations that were done! We look forward to next year! This summer in particular, we left our daughters blanket in the room and realized halfway home and the staff verified they found the blanket and were willing to keep the blanket until we made arrangements to pick up. Thank you!Nearby activities: Very close to downtown PrincetonFood & drinks: Breakfast was hot and fresh the mornings we were there. My son loved the pancake maker!

In short very bad! We were in a business training and were crammed in a small room. We asked for an updated they refused on the price which is understandable. However the faucet in the bathroom was broken and it till them 2 days to fix. We had no bathroom for 2 out of the 4 days there. Pathetic!

I love Sonesta ES, but sometimes the rooms aren't in the best shape. Maybe it's a lack of enough staff or attention to detail, but I've had to move rooms or exchange linens more often than not lately. They are generally good at accommodating for shortcomings, although we got put into a room with other issues. The suite aspect is the best part of this hotel. Full size fridge and cabinets are a must for families and this hotel has them in every room. Full stoves are only in the larger rooms, but you can still cook stovetop in small rooms. Rooms are generally quiet, but some guests are obnoxiously loud (some guy was blasting music from his car one time..another time students were having a loud party or something). Pre-pandemic they had a great hot breakfast with omelettes at one point. Now it's mostly pre-packaged items with some hot items. The cost is more than I remember and they charge 5 per night for parking now (it was free). I still think they are better than most other places because of the suites, but they aren't improving the rooms or the parking lot, so extra costs are making me not want to stay there anymore. If you've never experienced a suite, this place is great to try it out though.Rooms: Spacious with multiple TVs and cabinets and drawers. Usually clean and well stocked. Full kitchens with stovetop (ovens in bigger rooms). Occasional missed housekeeping/maintenance like clogged toilet or stove with stove cleaner still in it.Walkability: This is directly off of Route 1, so not much you can walk to unless you want to walk into traffic. The hotel grounds are walkable.

There are two Sonesta in the area, this one is Sonesta Princeton. Overall a good motel, business hotel.Rooms are tidy, well furnished and spacious, best part is that it is a service apartment set-up, you can cook in the room, they provide, utensils and cutlery. Including wine, whiskey and beer glasses.Breakfast is included in the stay, but is not Indian palate friendly, if you are a vegetarian then it s of no good. Timings are 7-9 am.No room service, it is a self service hotel. They have gym, swimming pool, washing machine, dining area and conference room at the facility.Overall staff is friendly. The place is on US 1, this means anywhere you wish to go from here, you need a car. Personal or rented, this thing is a bit of a bummer.Overall good place.
