Being a female I find it hard to find a place where I could go and not feel like they are taking advantage. I came here and they were respectful, helpful, and hooked me up! Answered all my questions and I didn t feel like they were trying to get one up on me. I ve been coming here ever since for all my car needs. They also send me a reminder when my oils change is due which I find very helpful since I forget everything lmao

On November 11, 2023, as I was driving my vehicle, the check engine light came on and I heard a squealing sound, which I assumed was some sort of belt; and the engine revved whenever I used the brake or put the car in park. At 10:23AM, I called Andujar Auto Care, located at 127 North New Road, Pleasantville, New Jersey for service, as he was my current mechanic and performed several services, from oil changes and flushes on my vehicle. At 11:30AM, when I arrived, I asked Mr. Andujar if the timing belt was the issue with the vehicle because I knew that this needed to be repaired soon as he advised me of this in the past. Mr. Andujar said the issue was not the timing belt at that time, however he needed additional time to check my vehicle. I sat in his office for approximately an hour, and then Mr. Andujar said the vehicle would cost $1,200.00 to repair. I asked what he planned to repair and he indicated that I never had the car serviced and he needed to perform further testing. He said he could get my vehicle in running condition for $600.00 and asked me to leave it with him. I took a taxi ($10.00) to my mother s home and waited four hours for a call. Mr. Andujar called me and said the car was repaired and I took a taxi ($10.00) back to his place of business. Upon return, the car performed the same and the check engine light was still illuminated. Mr. Andujar provided me an invoice (Exhibit A), which detailed what he repaired. I complained that the car was still squealing and jerking and inquired what he repaired that costed $600.00. Mr. Andujar said he needed more time to look at the car and instructed me to bring the car back to him on the following Monday, November 13, 2023. Mr. Andujar indicated that it was a Saturday and he could not get additional parts due to the late hour. On Monday, November 13, 2023, I called off of work ($189.84 in lost wages) and returned my car to Mr. Andujar at 9:00AM. I took another taxi ($10.00) to my mother s home to wait for him to contact me. Mr. Andujar called me and said my vehicle was finished. Upon returning to his location via taxi ($10.00), I noticed that the car still performed the same. At this point, Mr. Andujar said the timing belt needed repair and it would be an additional cost. I informed Mr. Andujar that I worked an hour from my home and was concerned that I would have issues on my commute. Mr. Andujar said repeatedly, the car is good, Mami, the car does not want to stop for you. I asked him several times if he was certain of this and he confirmed. I left the premises.

Definitely would not recommend this mechanic. Had to get their mechanical work fixed multiple times by other mechanics due to them being money hungry. And when originally asking them to fix the problem they claimed to have no records of any transactions or work done to ANY cars within the past few years. Mechanic was nasty after being asked to fix the bad work he done just to get paid.

I ve been coming to ANDUJAR AUTO CARE SINCE 2017 & since then I ve been one of the most loyal customers and now I live 45 minutes away and I still come to this shop for every thing I need , they help me when I m low on cash , they give me good deals . . they take care of my car !!! Friendly, cordial but respectful interactions from point of entry till job is done. Flexible payment arrangements should you run out of cash but still need your car repaired. Reasonable and fair repair pricing. I can trust Nelson to not make up stories about what is wrong with my car. Keeping to time is as important to them as it is to me. Never disappoint. Reason why I have remained with them for over 5 years and counting. Complete overcharged and ripoff. Do not go to this place. Cost more than a dealership with the lack of professionalism. They charged my aunt 440 for an oil change and transmission fluid change. she called me to ask me as I am a car saleswoman and worked with service advisors for a while to see if that was a fair price. I called them and asked them what they did and what they were charging her for. They told me there was too much oil so they had to clean the engine bogus phrase as engines with too much oil only need to have the oil drained aka oil change. He told me he had to buy Honda transmission fluid and oil and I said yeah you better have but each quart cost no more than $12 which Honda will tell you what their cost will be when you call them. He also stated he worked on the car for 3.5 hours and I said for an oil change and transmission fluid change? He hangs up the phone on me when I asked him why he was charging 440 for an oil and filter change and transmission fluid change. Only needs 4 quarts of fluid and 4 quarts of oil plus a new filter. Parts should cost no more than $80 all together. Where does he get 440 from? Told her if she didn t pay she didn t get her car.Service: Oil change

This place has been such a life saver very hard working honest people I have been taking my cars to them and they have never left me hanging. I broke down on a unsafe expressway. This tire shop was only shop open at 6pm. I call Andujar and Nelson help me. He stayed open and found the root of my problem my stim was bad and he fixed it and did it in a timely fashion. A1 SERVICE!!!!!!!!!

Just want to say how wonderful ALL the workers are there. I always talk to NELSON there he is great and friendly. If you need your car fix he will say bring it to me now I will do everything I can to fix it. They work on the cars fast and get it done. Great prices and fast. Thank you Nelson.

They were supposed to fix my hydraulic clutch hose. They didn't even replace it, just reattached it and didn't change the fluid or bleed it out. Charged me 750 dollars and my car was a mess. Had to take it to Bennett Chevrolet to get fixed and dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. These guys are crooks. STAY AWAY

Do not under any circumstances allow these thieves to touch your car!! I took my car in 6 months ago to get new brakes and rotors. Not only would they not tell me where they were ordering my parts from, the manufacturer or the price paid they argued with me when I asked probing questions. The rotors they put on my car were cheap, brake pads were cheap mind you I only drive this car 2 hours a day for work. 3 months in my brakes were squealing and one of my rotors was falling apart. We took the car back to have the rotor and brake pad for that wheel replaced under the warranty we supposedly received. Not only did the owner refuse to replace the rotor that completely fell apart, he refused to change the brake pad and had the audacity to tell me that I should have brought it back sooner. It took exactly 2 weeks for the rotor to fall apart which has now messed up my differential!!! Moving right along, I have an actual professional changing my brakes and rotors as I am writing this review. Apparently my calipers were never cleaned, the pins were never greased and the calipers locked in place. On the wheel that needs the rotor replaced the caliper is locked like Ft. Knox. I paid Andujar s $500 for these brakes and rotors. To add insult to injury my bf and I know how to do the job we just couldn t afford the proper tools! I m livid. Whatever you do do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT LET THESE CON ARTISTS TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!!!!

Brought my wife s car in Feb 28th to repair her camshaft sensor, a tune up with a oil change $562. Was told was If drove around and put a little miles on it with the new sensor the check engine light would reset and go off. Here we are in May 3,000 miles later the check engine light is still on. Today we took it to Auto Zone to get a free diagnostic only to find out that it s was the Camshaft, which I just paid $562 to get fixed back in feb!!!! $562 just for them to do absolutely nothing!!!! These guys are crooks!! DO NOT GO HERE!Update: Took the car to another mechanic only to find out that the oil FILTER WAS NEVER CHANGED!!! Please don t take your car here! They only fix your car to a extend just to keep getting money out of you! Take your car to a mechanic that really cares!!

I would give no stars if I could. I took my car here to get an oil change. A few days later my engines locked up on me and the person who checked my car afterwards said my oil and filter was never changed which inturn messed up my engine. Dont go here especially if you are a woman.
